Charle’s POV:
I woke up the next day with my phone ringing. And against my will I stood up and grab my phone and hit that green button.
[Charles]
The voice on the other line hit my brain nerves that made me wide awake.
“Dad?”
He never called. Not even once. So this surprised me. His voice sounded old and serious.
[Is your sister with you?]
With his question, I looked at my door still locked. “Yes. She’s with me.”
[Good. I need the two of you to come over here.]
“Now?”
I searched for the time and saw that it’s only 5 in the morning.
[Yes. Now. We have some problems.]
“Problems.. what pro--”
[I’ll discuss it to you and your sister once you got here. See you son.]
Then he hangs up.
Standing there I tried to wrap around my thoughts on the conversation that just happened. My Dad called asking me and Cassy to come over and discuss some problems.
And he wants us to come now.
I went to my bedroom door and knocked. “Cassy… Cassy!”
