CHARLE’S POV:
“Dude! Love at first sight?! Kalokohan yun!”-erick
Dumalaw siya dito sa pad ko, wala daw kasi siyang ibang mapuntahan. He doesn’t want to bother Nick, now that Dominic’s back in her life. He wants to see Denise, but Nick said she’s having a hard time accepting Dominic in her life. It’ll just complicate things if we show ourselves up.
“I didn’t say it’s love at first sight…”
“Eh ano lang? Love at first bite?” and then he laughs out loud. I told him about the sundae.
Here he goes again. I wonder why he’s not pursuing Cheska. It’s obvious that they have that connection. So why the hell he’s here in my pad, making fun of me??!
“Oh ano yang tingin na yan. Tss. Charles. Imbes na nababaliw ka kakaisip dun sa… sino nga ulit yun? R..”
“She’s RB. RB santiago.”
“Yun naman pala eh. Alam mo pangalan niya. May pera ka. Kaya mo siya ipahanap kung gugustuhin mo lang.” he said and then took a sip on his beer.
He has a point. Why am I bothering myself thinking over and over again about her, when I can go and look for her.
“Sometimes you amaze me with your ideas.”
“Huh. Kaw lang eh. Wala kang bilib.” He goes over my fridge and look for I think another beer. “Tol. Penge pa ah.”
“It’s ten in the morning dude. I don’t want someone to throw outside my window smelling like a dog.”
“Easy MOM! I’m not gonna ruin your carpet if that’s what you’re worried about.” He answered back
**Riiiiingg! Riiiiing! Riiiing!**
“Just get your ass outta here before even getting drunk!” I said before answering my phone.
I didn’t see the caller i.d. so the moment I heard who’s on the other line. I regret hitting that green icon.
“Mom.” I said in a fake happy voice.
((Oh Charles dear, it’s been a long time since we last talk.)) My Mom. That uberly dramatic yet lovable mother of mine.
“Mom. You just called me yesterday.” I said as a matter of fact.
((Oh is that so? *divine chuckles* well, I just called to remind you about your date with Mr. Dela Vega’s daughter tomorrow. Don’t forget to show up my dear this time.))
