Kiss of Revenge Ch. 6: Plot Kiss
RB’s POV:
“I want revenge too.” He said.
Iniangat ko yung ulo ko at pinunasan yung bakas ng mga naiwang luha sa pisngi ko. I look at him, his face full of determination.
He still wants his revenge? He knows our story.
“You look tired. Ihahatid na kita.” Sabi niya sa’kin as his gaze shift from his sister to mine.
“Yeah. She looks tired. But...”
“I’m still his boyfriend Princess. Ako maghahatid sa kanya.” Tapos lumakad siya papalapit sa’kin. He stops in front of me and then dropped into his knees so that we’re eye level.
“I’m sorry with all this.”
“Uggghh!!”
Napalingon kaming dalawa kay Nicole. Jacob’s smiling. And all I can do is wonder.
“I’ll go. Maiwan ko na kayong dalawa.” Sabi niya and she looks directly at me and smiled. Wala na siyang ibang sinabi. Her smile says everything. It’s somehow reassuring. Na parang maaayos din ang lahat. Kahit hindi ko alam kung paano maayos ang lahat, her smile made me think that it will. Or if not, something new… something different will.
Naramdaman ko yung paghawak niya sa kamay ko. Tinignan ko ito, tapos tumingin ako sa mga mata ni Jacob. “Not the way I planned. But hey… plot twists happen in real life.” He said lightly then he smiled as reassuring as the other Madrigal did awhile ago.
“Let’s go?” tanong niya as he stands up, taking my hand with him. Tumayo ako.
Pero kagaya nang nangyari kanina, hindi ako naglakad kasama niya nung naglakad siya papunta sa pinto. He stopped, our hands still linked. Lumingon siya sa’kin.
“RB.”
“I can’t.” I said abruptly.
I can’t be his boyfriend anymore. I can’t do this. I love Charles. And I can’t be with anyone else.
“You’re tired. Kailangan mo munang magpahinga. We’ll think of a way tomorrow. Okay?”
