better better [DAY6]

JYP was one of the producers of a youth drama Sungjin auditioned for and he was able to get positive feedback. The selection of actors were people who were also artistes.

Sungjin auditioned for two different dramas on the same day but both times he bumped into other artistes from JYP ent who also wanted to audition.

Jihyo, Nayeon and Jinyoung.

Dowoon attended his first day of class and there were quite a lot of students compared to what he imagined.

It was his first time interacting with IU because she was the vocal lesson teacher. She seemed really nice and sweet and he felt nervous being around her.

After his class he finally opened up the messages he had received in Day6's group chat.

S: Are you guys still home?
W: Yes.. no one left after you and dowoon
B: Hyung go to the grocery store before you come back
J: of course the only thing Brian wants is food
B: there's really nothing at home
S: is Dowoon back?
W: not yet
S: I want us to eat dinner together
B: we have to wait for him??
J: I think he said his class ends at 5
S: I'll stop by the store then
S: Jae are you going to pick him up?
J: he didn't ask for a ride, I think he has everything settled
B: why do we have to eat dinner together?
J: you're still on that??
B: I'm curious
S: I think it's better for us to be closer that way
J: you don't have to answer him bob
S: Wonpil what do you want to eat?
W: anything..

Dowoon smiled after reading their pointless conversation. He joined in:
D: I'm leaving class right now. I'll be home in thirty

B: come back safe
J: I can come get you??
D: I'm good.

After a while Sungjin texted again:

S: you guys want fish?
B: buy the whole store

Sungjin and dowoon arrived home around the same time and everyone flooded the kitchen.

They were mostly on their phones but just being near each other gave them a sense of relief.

Losing someone close made them appreciate the time they had together. Little conversations satisfied them, all that mattered was that they were blessed with life and they have each other.

They all participated in setting the table for dinner.

Jae decided to bring up the topic of their healing trip again.

"It's getting closer," he said. "Three days left."

"Can we just not go." Wonpil complained.

"No. you're going."

"I didn't sign up for it though."

"Yeah i didn't volunteer either." Sungjin remarked.

"Why do we have to?" Wonpil continued.

"Cause i said so." Jae replied with a smile. "Besides I said we can all go together."

"It's a waste of time." Wonpil said.

"It's not, you're avoiding reality and that's not good because it can hurt you in the long run."

Wonpil didn't say anything because he couldn't deny the truth.

"Guys, how bad can it be?? We'll end up loving the relaxing time, trust me." Brian added.

"Right and we get to bond." Jae added then he glanced over at Dowoon who was silent. "What are you thinking of?"

The maknae shook his head.

"How was your first class?" Wonpil asked.

"Better than I expected."

"Who's the instructor?" Brian asked.

"IU." He responded and just thinking of it made him smile.

"Are you the only one?"

"There are like ten other students... I don't know any though."

"Oof so you're odd in number?" Jae asked.

He nodded and pouted. "Everyone was seated next to someone except me."
