"So, thats my life update since I last saw you..." I say to Cody.
"Like I always say things are going to be hard Izzy but you're a strong woman, I think you can get through it." he says.
"You think so?" I sigh. "I just can't stand Shawn right now."
" That is right now but I'm sure because you love him, when time comes you will want him again."
"I feel like he used me, I hate him for that. He tried to have sex with me to make me feel better about when he broke the news to me. How do I forgive him for that."
"You don't have to." he tells me.
" What do you mean Cody?" I ask confused.
He takes a deep breath then continues.
"Honestly I like you Izzy... Its just, you have a boyfriend. It doesn't work."
"But it could do." I say wanting him to feel better.
Cody moves him face closer to mine. He then stops.
" Sorry, I shouldn't." He stops himself.
"No I need it." and with that he kisses me on my lips.
I smile.
"That felt good." I laugh.
" It did." he laughs back.
There was a moment of awkward silence.
"Do you want to come back to my place for a drink?" he asks. " I mean you don't have to drink lemonade there."
We both laugh.
"Yeah, it makes me feel a bit sick after a while." I joke.
" Hey," he says to a waiter, " please can I have the bill."
"Yes sir just one moment." and the waiter leaves.
" Shit!" I gasp.
"What is it?" Cody asks concerned.
"I left my purse in my hotel room." I say as I massage my forehead.
" Don't worry, I was going to pay anyway." he responds.
" Aww thank you Cody." I smile to him.
