dark: he looks fancy all the time, and you never understood why, so you just wear normal clothes. one day, you two had to go to a party, and dark wanted you to dress formally, but you had literally zero clothes that he liked, so he gave you this.

Wilford: he saw these at the store one day and got them "so we can match!" the first time you wore them, he literally squealed in happiness because of how adorable he thought you looked. a few minutes later, you and him were walking around the house strutting your stuff.

The host: you kept stealing his coat all the time whenever you got cold, so he just went to the store one day and bought you your own because he was fed up with your shit. (jk he still loves you). when he came home he said, "the host would like to inform (y/n) that he has bought them their own coat on account of the fact that they seem to enjoy his so much." you put it on (it was way too big, but you loved it.) and then hugged him for an hour.
