As soon as Dean reached the school, he and Sam quickly parted ways, Dean heading for his first period and Sam heading for the cafeteria. Dean arrived to his English class before Charlie, which he considered an accomplishment. Charlie arrived two minutes after Dean, her hair a mess and bags under her eyes.

"Hey Dean." Charlie mumbled, yawning as she sat down.

"What's up with you?" Dean asked incredulously.

"Insomnia." Charlie yawned, setting her bag down. "Was up until 4 in the morning, cuz I couldn't fall asleep. Plus, I was reading fanfiction. I found a super detailed twenty chapter fanfic."

Dean rolled his eyes and nodded his head. "Of course, you stayed up late for fanfiction."

Charlie pulled out her English binder and began sketching some random woman on a piece of paper. The bell rang ten minutes later, and the teacher walked in with his usual smile on his face.

"Hello everyone. It's now the fourth week of school, so we are almost halfway through the first quarter. Report cards will be coming out next week, and some of you don't have the best grades in this class. I'll be offering an extra credit assignment two weeks before the end of the quarter for anyone who wants a grade boost." The teacher began, pacing back and forth in front of the class. "Now today, we have a new vocab assignment, so everyone get out a sheet of paper."

Everyone except for Charlie, who was sleeping with her head on her binder, pulled out a sheet of paper as told. The teacher seemed to either not notice Charlie, or just not even care that she was sleeping. The teacher gave them a total of 12 words, and explained their vocab assignment. The assignment was to write each vocab word along with the definition, then draw a picture as an example, and write a sentence with the word being used properly. The vocab assignment was due that Friday, and next Monday they would get another assignment.

"Now, remember, your reading counts test is due two weeks from Friday. If you don't do it, it's a zero, and it is a 50 point assignment." The teacher reminded. "Now, work on your vocab or read your reading counts book."

Dean worked on his vocab, finishing 3 words before the bell rang. He shook Charlie awake before heading off to his math class.

"Hey Castiel." Dean spoke as he sat down behind Castiel, who seemed to be deep in thought. "Uh, hello? Earth to Castiel."

"Huh? Oh what? Sorry, I was thinking." Cas apologized, shaking his head as though shaking himself back into reality.

"About?" Dean questioned, leaning forward in his chair.

"This person I dislike." Cas replied with a sigh. He ran a hand through his messy dark hair before turning to face Dean.

"What's their name?" Dean asked, tilting his head.

"I'd rather not say." Cas murmured, looking away.

Dean nodded his head. "I understand. Hey, there's this movie that comes out this Friday. Wanna tag along with me to go see it? It's called Sully."

"Uh sure." Cas replied.

"Thanks Cas, can I call you Cas?"

"Well only my family calls me that, but I guess you can." Cas replied with a shrug.

"Ok cool."

Sam managed to get to his first period a minute under the bell. Ruby and Jess were sitting in their usual corner, talking and giggling about something. The teacher came in and instructed everyone to turn to a page of the textbook and take notes, as they had been doing for the past two weeks.

To most people, Law Studies was a boring class. To Sam, however, the class was rather intriguing. The teacher was a rather tall man with brown hair and a british accent. Word around the school was that the teacher, Mr. Howell, had gotten stuck teaching Law Studies rather than Film Study or TV Production, which he had wanted to teach. There was also a rumor that he was dating one of the English teachers, but nothing solid had come from those claims.

After the bell rang to signal the end of first period, Sam hurried to his math class, with a different teacher than Dean, even though they were both taking Algebra 2. However, Sam was in an honors class while Dean was in the regular class. Sam took detailed notes all throughout the teachers speech, then quickly finished the worksheet the teacher handed out. He finished it within minutes, and was soon bored.

Sam fumbled through his bag and managed to take out the health bar Gabriel had given him earlier. He had to admit, Gabriel could be really nice. Of course, Sam had never expected to get a boyfriend within his first two months of living in the town, but he was kinda glad he did. As he looked over the health bar, Sam swore he could feel his heart skip, only slightly.
