I started to sing How to Love by Christina Grimmie.

You had a lot of crooks try'na steal your heart
Never really had luck, couldn't never figure out
How to love (how to love)
How to love (how to love)
Mm you had a lot of moments that didn't last forever
Now you in the corner try'na put it together
How to love (how to love)
How to love (how to love)

When you was just a youngin', your looks were so precious
But now your grown up, so fly it's like a blessing
But you, can't have a man look at you for five seconds
Without you being insecure
You never credit yourself so when you got older
It's seems like you came back ten times over
Now you're sitting here in this damn corner
Looking through all your thoughts and looking over your shoulder

See you had a lot of crooks try to steal your heart
Never really had luck, couldn't never figure out
How to love (how to love, how to love)
How to love (how to love, how to love)
Mm see you had a lot of moments that didn't last forever
Now you in this corner try'na put it together
How to love (how to love)
How to love (how to love)

"I see that you two are a perfect pair." Mrs. Parks complimented when I finished singing.

Adam and I both laughed awkwardly. Yep. That awkward feeling when you get complimented. Definitely feeling it.

"We can talk about the project after Adam's vacation." she looked at Adam.

"Yes, of course." I smiled widely as Adam put his arm around me.

"Ugh. Teenagers." Mrs. Parks rolled her eyes. She really looked like one of those French fashion designers... who became a bit chubby.

Technically, we're not teenagers. I'm 26 and Adam's 32. Sooo.... Wow. I never realized our age gap. Six years.

"Can I have your number, darling?" she asked. "Ravon, get her a notepad." she called that scary, giant guy who answered the door a while ago.

"I'll need to contact you." she added.

I wrote my number on the pad that Ravon gave me, and placed it by the glass table in the living room.

"Okay, I'll see you a week from now." she said.

"Yeah, okay." Adam smiled widely and we both got out of her room. It seemed weird to say goodbye though... because she doesn't seem like those people whom you say cheerful greetings to.

A/N: Hey glamberts! I'm sorry for this short chapter. Don't worry. There's more to come. Hehehe. Thank y'all for reading, voting and commenting. I love you ALL! ♥
