Yall im so ready to dive into this storyline you don't understand. P.s im a lil rusty don't judge me.

Every morning before work I usually throw my curly hair up in a high ponytail and throw on anything but today i wanted to switch it up so I straighten out my hair and put light eye makeup on. When I was done in the bathroom I start to walk back to my best friends room so I can get dressed for work. I put on a black t shirt and a pair of shorts .

"Oh shit look at youuu" Diamond says as i enter the room.

I flip my hair over my shoulders. "Oh you know you know" I say laughing.

"You a mess, lets go before we late". She laughs

I sat in my salon chair thinking about what i would say to Keith when he came in. He comes in here at the end of the week to get lined up. I asked him why not go to a regular barber shop but he says there's nothing like a woman's touch. He has a point I always have him looking fresh.

Problem is...Keith barely speaks to me, it's usually just Hey ,Thanks , See you. Maybe today will be different.

I heard the bell chime from the door being opened and In walked Keith. He greeted the room then sat in my chair like he always does and gets on his phone. "What happened to the usual girl" he asks me.

"What girl" I ask

"The one thats always here" He says turning his chair toward me.

"Your looking at her"

I'm not sure if i should be offended or not.

"Word" he says studying me hard trying to figure out what's different about me.

"I just changed my hair thats all" i chuckle

"My bad, I need to start paying better attention to what's in front of me" He looks me up and down

"Its cool" i smile

"Nah it's not, It's a shame i let you get by this long and im hoping you're not busy tonight because I would love to take you out" he bites down on his lip

My heart is beating undeniably fast right now. Keith Powers just asked me out. I wanted this too happen but who knew it would happen just like that.

"I would like that"
