Chapter 16

CHAPTER 16:

I was fixing my books when Stephen walked towards me and lean on my locker.

My God! Don't you think it's too early to deal with anger?

"What are you doing here?" I said without looking at him.

My voice is stiff making it obvious that I don't like him here.

"Amber . . ."

I groaned in disgust when he called me 'Amber'. What's so hard about 'do NOT call me Amber?' Him and Zach really match. Tsk.

"Just tell me what do you want"

"Can we talk?"

"We're talking"

"What I mean is let's talk over a dinner—"

"I'm busy"

"You're always busy"

"Alam mo pala e bakit nagpupumilit ka pa?" I finally look at him

"I don't—"

"I forgot you don't understand. Sige eto na lang 'Wǒ ài wǒ de nán péngyǒu' "

I shut my locker and turned back when two unwanted faces met my eyes.

Zach with an of course—what's new with his blank face? He was on his locker waiting for that Korean bastard. A very wide grin appears on that Korean bastard's face when he saw me. He waved and walked towards me grabbing Zach with him.

I secretly hiss 'sht'.

"Sister in law!" he called

"Hi guys!" I exclaim as I walk towards them.

This is so against my will but what can I do? I have to pretend I am with them.

"Hey KB" I greet. I don't know what's his name so let me just call him KB, short for Korean bastard.

"KB?"

"My pet name for you. Cute isn't it?" then I glance at Zach "Hey babe" I smile and wrap my arms around his.

And look what I got. The Oscar's award of the year.

God knows how disgusted I am with myself right now. And did I just greet this Korean bastard? Holy F this seriously sucks! Never did I once imagine this. Define 'never', not even once even if I die again and again.

"Where are you guys up to?"

"Caf and you're goin' with us right?"

For God's sake it's cafeteria you know.

"Yeah sure" I smiled. And of too much delight he almost jump and snake his arms around my neck.

"Great. I'll have more time to know you more. Oops who is he by the way?"

He eyed Stephen. Go away!

"Ahh—"

"Suitor? Sorry dude she's taken with my friend" he elbowed Zach in his side

"Right sister in law?" he wriggles his brow. "You can find another girl" He taps Stephen shoulder twice that made Stephen's expression change.

"I don't need your sympathy" he coldly answers him and looks at me "I won't stop" he says then left
