Summery:
Just because someone is meant to be right for you doesn't mean they are. Just because he loves you, doesn't mean he needs you. Perhaps that is where Chloe and Xavier's story starts. With Xavier knowing that while he may love Chloe, he doesn't need her and that is where Chloe's heart breaking tale begins. A story that proves that not every love story gets a happy ending.
Annie's Thoughts:
I'm not going to lie to you on this one. It's hard to read this one and watch her go through all of this, the fact that her mate lies to her through everything and it takes a chance meeting for her to find out his lies, the fact that he has a secret family and chooses not to leave it and in turn rejects her every advances. It wasn't until Alec started showing her that she has someone on her side that she eventually can get through what he's done to her and he sticks with her even with planning with her to leave so they don't have to ever be around her mate. I will say you might cry on some parts of this story so be warned.
