With those word I felt my heart break into millions of pieces. He didn't want the one person in the world that is suppose to love me no matter what didn't even want me. Fine if no one wanted me around then i'll do them all a favor and leave. They won't ever have to worry about me bothering them with my face ever again.Makenzie wasn't your normal female wolf. She was a bit overweight. Every day of her Jr. high/high school life she has been make fun of, pushed around, and talked about. Even her brother Derrek joined in. Just when she thought life couldn't suck even more she meets her mate, Jace Valentine, her brothers best friend who rejected her. Annie's Thoughts:

So mean and cruel in this story. The fact that everyone picked on her just because she was a little over weight just pisses me off. Come on!!!! If you are upset at her for being chubby then help her instead of making fun of her. How he rejects her and then plays off like he was never her mate until the rumor's spread makes me want to go for a nut shot. Anyway, she does like in most of these rejection stories and runs off but instead of running to a new pack or just staying by herself she ends up finding someone to spend her time with and get stronger. Though, he is full of mysteries it gets cleared up when he goes on a run with her only for them to come across her ex mates pack. Crap, this story had me going in more ways than one. First off, Annabelle remember, editing is always someones friend if you had this read back to you the person reading it to you would smack you on the lack of capitals used in it. You always use them, first letter of each sentence, names, cities, countries, etc. etc. The other facts that got me is how she portrays Summer and shows off how bitchy she can be. I'd kick the bitch in the face if I was her starting off. Why is it no one in this book values the mate bond until they actually find their mate? Owell, love that they got their happy ending and yes there is a sequel, just not finished.
