Tye's POV

The pack was beside themselves. We had no idea where our Luna was. "Get to Amelia's pack, your Luna needs you!" The Alpha screamed through the pack link. Many of us never thought twice as we shifted and ran out of our borders and towards Amelia's Pack. We needed our Luna. It didn't take us long to get there, shifted we were faster than any car. Crossing into their lands, we could hear the howling in the distance. Following the calls, we stormed into the forest. "Luna! Where are you?" I screamed when she came through the mind link. "Amelia's pack lands. Past the pack house in the forest. Followed the river down, don't know how far." she replied. "We are almost there. Stay hidden. We will find you. Your people will come for you." I replied, trying to calm her down.

Sending out the message to every warrior, we all rush towards the river. I worried about our Luna, but I pressed forward when I ran into a handful of Amelia's warriors scouring around trying to locate her scent. A growl escapes me as I charge directly at them. Grabbing a gray and white wolf by the neck, I bit down as I swung my head from side to side, ripping its flesh from its body. Feeling a rippling pain run up my back leg, I spin around to see a brown and black wolf with its teeth clamped around my leg. I snapped at it, when it let go, backing away from my grasp. It lunges at me, but I dodge it and raked my claws down its ribs. It whimpered but still came at me strong. It was fast, but still no match to me as I side stepped and pounced onto its back and ripped into the scruff of its neck. Wrapping my claws around its sides, I let go of its scruff to get a better grip of its neck. Chomping down, I ripped its flesh from its body as my claws raked down its sides.

Warrior after warrior kept coming after me, but I had to keep fighting. Our warriors were well trained, but I was getting tired after the 5th wolf came after me. I was tackled to the ground by 2 wolves, trying to fight them off when all of a sudden the weight was lifted off me. Leon's black and brown wolf, attacking the two that got me down. Resting for just a moment, I looked around at all of our pack, fighting, trying to get to our Luna.

Pressing forward, I get to my feet when I see a hollowed out log by the river's edge. I ran for the log, to get to our Luna, I looked inside to find it empty. "She's not here. Check the perimeter for any hollow logs for your Luna." I screamed through the link at our men. The forest ground was running red, the water red, washing away the remnants of the battle. "Luna! Luna!" I scream through the link but there was no answer.

"Where is she?" Alpha's voice boomed through my head, I looked around frantically when I saw his huge wolf barrel through the forest. "Where is my mate?" Alpha questioned as he looks around. I knew he had to have run a long way, panting heavy as he looks towards the hollowed out log. I looked around for any sign of her when we all heard one of our warriors scream out through the link. "I got her!"

Relief floods me as our warrior steps out of the trees, towards us holding our Luna in his arms. Her body was limp, as he rushed over to us. "Alpha. She is weak, she isn't healing fast enough." he stated as he laid her down on the ground next to us. Gunner frantically started licking her wounds, trying to heal her. I knew she must have had wolfsbane in her system for Gunner started to stagger after the last wound healed. He had ingested whatever she had in her system. Once her wounds healed, Gunner shifted giving Devin back control. He tried lifting her to him, but from the wolfsbane was too weak to carry her back to the pack lands.

"Go find a car! We need to get our Luna home!" I snap as I bent down to grab her from Alpha. He glares at me, snarling as I reach for her. "I'm just grabbing her to get her to the car, Alpha. No threat!" I told him. He looked at me worried as he glanced back down towards her, and nodded. "Take her. Protect your Luna, I will be back." The Alpha stated as he staggered to his feet and dashed off towards the pack house.

I knew he was going after Amelia. Nobody had located her yet. I spotted Leon and Shawn off to the side and waved them over. "Go help your Alpha. I got Luna." I told Leon. Shawn glanced at me, cocking his head to the side as he glanced at Luna and whimpered slightly. She was badly injured but Gunner has healed all of her wounds. "Where's the Alpha?" Beta Shawn questioned. "Where else." I stated as I looked up at him, with a small sigh. His head darted in the direction of the pack house and nodded. He shifted quickly, darting off after his Alpha.

Grabbing Luna, I hoist her up in my arms as I get to my feet. Tucking her body close to my chest, I walk out towards the car that one of the men found. Her body so limp in my arms, I had to keep listening for her heartbeat to make sure she was still with us. I laid her down in the backseat of the car, and closed the door quietly. I stood guard next to the car waiting for our Alpha to return. I really wanted to take our Luna home, but I couldn't abandon my Alpha either.

The rest of our pack surrounded the car, as a warning to any that happen to still be alive that she was not to be touched. I doubt there was even a single warrior left, the place was eerie quiet. I stood waiting, keeping my eyes peeled on our surroundings. A few moments later, a thunderous growl was heard in the distance. Every warriors eyes darted toward the pack house, I knew without a doubt that the Alpha found his target. I glanced over at our Luna laying in the backseat of the car and worried about how she would react to his murderous revenge. Our Luna changed him, the one thing that she was so passionate about was no man should harm a woman. I swallow hard, knowing if the Alpha took revenge that Luna may never forgive him. I glance back up toward the direction of the pack house, when I saw the Alpha start walking towards us.
