A blessing

The sun was beginning to set on the horizon, painting the sky with orange and reddish hues. It was a beautiful sight, one that made my heart feel full and content.

Simon and I were sitting on the porch of our cottage, sipping cold lemonade and watching as the sun slowly made its descent. The air was warm and filled with the sound of crickets chirping in the distance.

As we sat there, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over me. It was as if time had slowed down, and we were the only ones in the world, watching as the sky turned from day to night.

We sat in silence for a while, simply enjoying each other's company and the beauty of the moment.

"Isn't it amazing how something as simple as a sunset can make us feel so alive?" As the last sliver of sunlight disappeared behind the horizon, Simon turned to me and said.

I smiled, knowing he was right. It was in these simple moments, watching the world around us, that we truly felt alive and connected to it.

"Well, our peace will soon be interrupted" I chuckled after checking my watch. It was almost time, only a matter of minutes when Soap and the other guys showed up.

"We should get ready" I added as I stood up, ready to enter the house.

"Mmm, come here" Simon's hand suddenly wrapped around my wrist and pulled me back toward him.

I turned my head to look at him in surprise, only to see his soft eyes stare deep into mine, his lips uncovered and so divine.

He leaned forward and brushed them against mine, gently at first, and then more passionately. His hands moved from my wrist to my waist, pulling me closer to him. I could feel my heart racing as we kissed, completely lost in the moment.

I then placed my hand on his shoulder and let him guide me into a slow dance. We moved together, our bodies swaying in perfect harmony and the warmth of his hand on my waist and the sound of his breath in my ear made my heart skip a beat.

While we danced, the distant sounds of the ocean seemed to blend with the rustling of leaves and the chirping of crickets, creating a symphony of nature. I closed my eyes and breathed in the air, letting it fill my lungs. I felt alive and at peace, wrapped in Simon's embrace.

As we continued, a distant noise reached our ears. It was the faint sound of a car approaching. We then turned our heads to see our team's car slowly making its way down the gravel road toward our cottage.

"Can you hear it?" I raised my eyebrow as I looked at Simon.

"Soap loves that song" Simon seemed not surprised, maybe even a bit annoyed he didn't get a chance to turn that kiss into something else.

'I woke up in a new Bugatti' lyrics could be heard as I chuckled, seeing Soap behind the wheel.

The car skidded as it came to a stop in front of us, kicking up dust and gravel. Soap jumped out of the car, grinning widely as he approached us.

"Hey, lovebirds!" He yelled, his voice boisterous and cheerful.

"Hope we are not interrupting anything too intimate"

Simon and I exchanged a look, both of us rolling our eyes at Soap's typical antics. But we couldn't help but smile at his infectious energy.

"No, you're not interrupting anything" I said, laughing.

I approached Soap with a smile and hugged him tightly, feeling the chaos of his energy as we embraced. Then I turned to greet the others, Alejandro, Price and Gaz hugging them and feeling grateful for their visit.
