In the clutches of Evil

As I was losing consciousness, Isabella and her group were preparing for the final step of their plan, which involved distracting my team while her men took me away from the town.

Just as she was about to leave the room, she checked my uniform for any attached tracking devices. But because of her attention to every single detail, she discovered one in my pocket. It immediately sparked another idea in her mind - she decided it would be entertaining to watch Simon and my team chase the car carrying the tracker. She was sure that would buy her more time to transport me to their new hideout.

And just like that, any hope for Simon to find me faded away.

...

Despite the continuing storm outside, Isabella darted through the alleyways, trying to reach her destination as quickly as possible. She was amazed that her tactic to lure me had worked so effectively. The signal jammers were particularly useful because they ensured that Simon was unable to contact me and that I couldn't reach my team.

But her motives were unclear, even Isabella didn't know what she wanted to do with me. Of course, she wanted to take revenge for everything I had done to her, but she knew it wasn't the right time to kill or torture me. But the idea of playing with Simon's feelings sparked a fire in her heart as she couldn't wait to have a chance to break the bond I and Simon had created.

Isabella had her doubts, but she was only a few hundred meters away from the extraction point when she heard the sound of helicopters flying overhead. She quickened her pace, revising the monologue she would give to my team. Just imagining Simon's expression fed her desire to see him suffer.

...

"Ghost! Soap! Someone!" She screamed at the top of her lungs as soon as she saw the helicopter land and the team beginning to board it.

Both Ghost and Soap raced over to Isabella, who was now eager to perform her insidious role.

"Why is Heroin not with you? Where is she?" Simon was the first one to ask so many questions.

"Look, we ran into an alleyway when they spotted us, but we got split up. When I finally caught up with her, a group of terrorists appeared and took her. I was completely powerless to stop them, I swear" She explained, fake tears running down her face with a hidden smile in her soul.

As soon as Simon realised how fucked up the situation really was, his heart sank. He imagined all the possible scenarios that I might be facing at that exact moment, but he knew he couldn't give up just yet.

"You are so full of bullshit. I tried contacting you guys but neither Heroin nor you responded" His coarse voice cut through the air, and his gaze bore into Isabella.

"They must have blocked our signal since I didn't hear you" She acted as if she was out of breath, trying to calm herself down after what had happened to me.

"Nonsense" Simon was starting to lose his mind.

"We can't leave her just like that. I must stay here and find her" he exclaimed, unable to control himself.

"Ghost, this isn't the best idea" Soap now joined the conversation.

"Yeah, it is too dangerous, Ghost. We can't lose you as well" Isabella added.

It was heavily raining and the wind was howling. Distant thunder could be heard as Ghost was debating what to do. He couldn't break his promise to protect me and it was his biggest priority to save me no matter how many lives it would cost. Though he knew Soap and Isabella were right - he had no chance in finding me, at least not at that moment.

In his trembling voice, Soap said "She had a tracking device, it might help us"

"Then let's go find her" Hope could be heard in Simon's words.

"No, let them take Heroin" Isabella's voice held a determined edge.

"If they take her, we will get a chance to follow them to their new hideout" She continued telling the plan, trying to convince both of them.

"That might actually work" Soap replied, now shifting his gaze to Simon.

"That's too dangerous"

"But.." Isabella tried to disagree but was suddenly interrupted by Simon.

"Do you know what they do to those they capture? We can't risk it"

"It's our Heroin, she always finds her way back to us" Isabella was on the verge of giving up but the moment she was done expressing her opinion, she noticed Simon's expression change.

The chaos in his head was starting to overtake him and deep in his heart Simon knew Isabella wasn't telling the whole truth. He was sure she was hiding something behind that fake mask of hers, and he swore to himself that sooner or later he would find out what she had planned.

He eventually agreed to leave the town as he finally realised how outnumbered they actually were. And as Isabella took one last look before taking off, she couldn't help but feel proud of herself. Distant screams of people, the thought of finally capturing me was the only thing that made her feel alive.

...

I was suddenly awoken by a splash of water hitting my face. Gasping for air, I realized that I was in a small, windowless room. The only source of light was a small hanging lamp above my head, which made my eyes ache as they adjusted to the brightness. My head throbbed with pain, and I could feel the water dripping down my face.

Looking around, I noticed that I was tied to a chair and unable to move my hands or legs. Panic set in as I struggled against the tight ropes. The room was quiet, except for the sound of my own breathing and the occasional creak of the chair.

At first, my mind was foggy, but I recalled every moment of the night Isabella betrayed me. I clenched my teeth as I remembered her cruel and venomous words, still not forgiving myself for trusting her.

The guy then left the room, giving me more time to reflect on the situation. I felt a deep pain in my chest as I thought of how Simon must have felt when he heard the news.

All I wanted was for him to be happy and have a better life, but it seemed that no matter what I did, something always got in the way. I couldn't help but feel responsible for his pain, even though I knew it wasn't my fault.

And as I felt myself slowly drifting back to sleep, I was sure Simon would come back and rescue me, no matter what.
