I woke up like the usual and checked the time.
My schedule has recently changed, ever since Mark became more busy...
But.. It's alright!
I hang out with Cesar when I or he can.
It's really fun and silly how he reacts to things.
What day was it?
I couldn't remember.
I had been working for hours and days.
But... It's time to get ready for work again.
Wooo...! Friday!
I wobbled out of my bed as I went into the bathroom.  The floor was super cold, so I flinched as I touched it.
After doing what I regularly did in the bathroom, I dressed up and went to go ahead to eat some breakfast.
I needed time to think...
But where had the time gone?
I should probably change jobs...
But this one was so hard to get into!
I sighed as I put my shoes on, feeling tired.
Last night I couldn't forget about Mark.
What happened to him?
Does he hate me?
What did I do?
Maybe it's something to do with his family... I shouldn't be nosy and interrupt.
I parked my car as I saw the new guy, Derek, walk into the store.
Derek had moved in recently, and he was a pretty nice dude.
I liked how he had messy blonde hair. He always argued about how he had to wake up early and couldn't brush it.
I locked my car before following where I last had seen him, and went up to him.
"Morning!" I said brightly as he turned around, scared.
"You scared me, Y/n!"
"Woops. My bad!"
"Good morning to you too!"
"Thanks! How have you been? Your sister doing well?"
"I've been good and all... But, my sister seems really stressed out."
"Oh... I'm sorry. Do you know why?"
"No. She never really talks to me anymore."
"Oh... Well, I guess we better get to work, huh?" I spoke, trying to change the subject.
Luckily it worked, "Yup!" And he brightened up quickly.
The rest of the work time, we just scanned items and at the end of the day he rolled the carts out and placed them back, I cleaned my counter and took all my stuff.
I asked for his phone number, he told me, I drove home, and it all comes up to now.
I locked the front door as I hanged my coat and keys.
I went upstairs and changed before hearing a familiar ringtone.
"Wait... Is that- no... It can't be.."
I picked up the phone to hear Cesar's voice. Oh...
"Hey Ces, what's up?"
"Hey I was thinking... Can we arrange a 2 week sleepover at your house amigo? You know how we haven't done one in so long! Plus, you have a month off, riiiiight?"
"Fine. I'll get the bed ready. What time?"
"Today. Thanks amigo! Oh, and can it be 2? Love you!"
He hung up before I could ask why.
(He means love you in a sibling way)
Weird.
But, I'll get it done anyways.
At 7 PM I heard a ding dong and opened the door to be squished by Cesar.
"Calm.. Down! Yo-your squeezing meee!" I gasped as he quickly let go.
"Sorry! I'm just so excited to see you again amigo!" He shouted, moving to the side a bit to reveal someone else.
"What...?" I mumbled as they stepped forward.
It was...

MARK?!
"MARK?!" I said, shocked to see him here.
Mark glared at me for a moment before looking away.
"What? Oh! Did I not tell you that Mark was coming? I'm pretty sure I mentioned that.."
"It's fine Ces. I don't mind. As long as he is comfortable."
Cesar smiled before I let them in, closing the door and keeping the cold air out. "Were you cold?" I asked as we sat on the couch.
"Oh yes. Very." Cesar replied, looking at Mark who was staring at the wall.
I learned closer to Cesar as I whispered into his ear. "What's up with him?"
He widened his eyes for a moment before responding, "I think it's because he's been really stressed lately."
