Chapter 16

--- Alex's POV ---

When I saw the amount of alcohol in Jack's kitchen I knew the night would be crazy. There were at least 20 bottles of Vodka and that only took up a small part of the unit. I had no idea how he'd managed to get so much but everyone was definitely going to end up plastered and his house would be a bombsite the next day.

'Well there is definitely enough booze man' I said

'Do you think there's enough?' he asked genuinely concerned

'Jack there's enough here to kill the entire guest list' Addy commented

'Well this party is going to be amazing' he screamed

I looked down at Addy and she gave me a worried look.

We spent the next 3 hours party proofing Jack's house so there was at least one puke point in every room. At 6 O'clock people started to arrive and the party started. Girls flooded in wearing costumes that made Addy's look respectable. I grimaced as one girl walked past in what looked like a bikini and a pair of cat ears. Addy lead me down to the kitchen so we could pick our bottles before the good stuff got taken, she picked up a bottle of vodka and I thought I'd start slow with a few cans of beer.

'Let's go party' Addy squealed she opened up the vodka and took a long swig before grabbing my hand and taking me to the, now full to bursting, living room

There were people dressed as everything imaginable; I saw Jack across the room already drunk and dancing with some blonde girl. I felt Addy start to grind against me to the music as she took another swig of her drink, there was at least 1/4 gone now, she would be on the floor in minutes if she didn't slow down.

'Addy slow down we've got all night' I said pulling the bottle away from her lips

'It's a party Alex there's no time for being sober' she slurred slightly and continued dancing against me

I opened my can of beer and downed it, two more following shortly after. The party got into full swing as more and more people started dancing and everyone started to get sweaty as we shared the small space.

'Addy' I shouted over the music forcing her to look at me 'Come here and sit with Zack while I go and get another drink' I sat her down on the sofa next to Zack

'Don't let her leave your sight' I told him and pushed my way out the living room to the kitchen.

I grabbed another beer and downed it and just as I was picking up another Rian came in with Kara, he was dressed as a pirate while she had on fairy wings and a crown.

'Hey Alex cool costume' he shouted

'You too man' I laughed, the alcohol was starting to give me a buzz

He handed me a shot glass filled with some kind of spirit and I knocked it back wincing as it burned the back of my throat. Addy was with Zack so 5 minutes wouldn't hurt I thought as I took another shot.

--- Addy's POV ---

I was pretty drunk but I was having a great time. Alex had gone to get a drink so I was sitting with Zack who seemed happy to just watch the party with a can of beer in his hand. The girls would usually flock to Zack like moths to a flame so he didn't need to put in much effort.

'So how's things?' I asked flinging one of my arms around his neck

'They're good yeah Addy how are you this drunk already?' he laughed 'The party only started an hour ago'

'Vodka' I waved the bottle in his face

'Okay well just slow down a little yeah?' He asked

'I'm just having fun' I took another drink making Zack shake his head.
