"You know that guy?"
Her giggles could be heard everywhere.
She dripped a little sauce on her collar.
"Bran. Not so, why? Stop oogling at him, look at that ketchup on your uniform."
"I think he's looking this way." She eyed him like a lunatic that she is.
"No. He wait. Not really, see that girl yeah that's his friend and he's looking AT THEM."
"You keep on shattering my dreams." She threw fry at me.
"Alice. I love you." I threw a chip back.
"I love you too." She came across the table to give me a hug.
"I'm seeing new scars Alice. Let's go get meds." I held her closer than ever.
"No. I'm fine. Just sad that's all but it'll go away next week."
"Alice, let's hide from the world shall we? Like of course we need to bring our reading assignments and case studies and well some of our notes but you know just the two of us. Let's pretend day 1."
"I like that."
"I like you, liking that." I smiled, she smiled. I thought we were happy.
