Secrets Come To Light

Sorry about the incredibly long wait, I don't normally take this long to update as most of you probably know. To be honest, I just couldn't couldn't be bothered writing for a while, so I apologise. Anyway, I hope you enjoy this chapter.

Cami made her way to a small restaurant where Will was waiting in a corner booth. She drew a large breath before walking towards him and sitting on the opposite side.
"Camille, you look beautiful as always."-W
"I didn't come here for your little comments, Will. I'm here for more information on my child."-C
"Like I said last night, your child is dead."-W

She closed her eyes, trying not to let a tear fall. She didn't want to be there longer than she had to, so she avoided all small talk and went straight to the point.
"Did I have a daughter or a son?"-C
"A gorgeous daughter."-W
She slightly smiled.
"Um.. how old?"-C
"8 months. You would have made an amazing mother."-W
"Her name?"-C
"Alexandria, Rose O'Connell. You called her Lexi."-W
She smiled at this.
"That's a beautiful name."-C
Her smile faded as she took a deep breath before continuing.

"How?"-C
"She had trouble breathing."-W
A single tear fell from her eye, but she quickly wiped it away, trying not to be vulnerable in front of the vampire she once loved and now loathed.
"I'm going to get some fresh air."-C
"I'll be waiting."-W
She stood from her seat and walked through the door of the small restaurant.

She drew some shaky breaths while looking around and trying to get rid of her tears, but it was in vain. Tears fell from her eyes while she thought about her 8 month old daughter that she didn't even remember. She would have loved to be a mother, but now that she was a vampire, it was impossible.
After she had spent around 5 minutes outside, she walked back in, determined to find the reason why she couldn't remember her own daughter.

Will looked up at her, noticing the slight redness in her eyes.
"Is everything alright?"-W
"Don't pretend to care. Just tell me why I don't remember her."-C
"Compulsion."-W
"I know that, but how? Davina did a spell on me to remove all compulsion done by any vampire."-C
"Like I told you last night, Jay found out that you were pregnant 2 years ago. At the time, you were dating another man who was the father of your child and when Jay saw you, he wanted you so he killed your boyfriend and then came to you under the guise of a comforting friend. He helped you through your pregnancy and soon after you gave birth, he started compelling you, abusing you, feeding from you and then 8 months later when your daughter died, you were mourning, you wouldn't give him the attention he seeked even with compulsion, your sadness annoyed him and frustrated him so much that he made you forget about your baby so he could have you all to himself. And as much as I hate to admit it, Jay was a smart man, he figured that one day your compulsion might disappear or you might turn into a vampire so he got a witch to erase the memories. Magic took away the memories, and magic can bring them back."-W

She silently processed the information in her head. Her boyfriend that she was probably very in love with had died and so had their child. Jay had gotten a witch to erase her memories so that she could be his own personal punching bag. Once again, a pool started to form in her eyes as she looked away from Will. She wiped the tears away and looked back at him.
"How do you know this?"-C
"He told me, along with other things that I'm not able to tell you."-W

She scoffed.
"You're still loyal to a dead man? You've fallen further than ever Will. I hope you find your way back to the man I once cared about. Goodbye."-C
She stood up to leave and didn't dare turn back.

'The Mikaelson Compound'

Freya, Kol, Hope, and Davina sat in the living room. Hope was watching TV with her aunt while Kol was yet again flirting with Davina, who had only come to help with their Edmund situation.
Lilly and Aiden were upstairs in her room, talking and playing around.
