On Titan, the remaining members of the Guardians and Avengers collect themselves- Mantis props up Star-Lord, Spider-Man and Mystic help Tony to his feet, Drax and Nebula manage to limp over on their own.
"Something's happening." Mantis disintegrates into ashes.
Quill looks behind him as he sees Drax disintegrate.
"Quill?" Drax asks as he dissolves.
"Oh god. No. no." Kat gasps, as she clung on Peter. "No, no, no." She tearfully shook her head, as Peter took her in a hug.
"It's fine. You're fine. Everyone's fine." Peter assures but they all knew that nothing was fine.
Quill stares in horror as he turns back to Stark.
Tony stares, panicked at the slowly fading Quill. "Steady, Quill."
"Aw, man." Quill also gets disintegrated into ashes.
"Peter." Kat looks up at Peter, before smashing her lips on him. "Don't leave me." She slowly gets disintegrated.
"Never," Peter whispers, closing his eyes, hugging her tightly. When he opened them. Katriana Maximoff was no more, and Peter stares out into space.
Stephen Strange calmly turns to Tony Stark. "Tony, there was no other way." He finally gets erased.
Peter realizes he's fading away. "Mr. Stark?" Tony stares horrified at Peter. "I don't feel so good..."
Tony's trying to be calm, his voice shaking as he looks at Peter in terror. "You're all right? I can't lose another kid here."
Peter stumbles and is completely terrified. "I don't know what's- I don't know what's happening. I don't-" Peter falls into Tony's arms, clutching him tight while beginning to cry. "I don't wanna go, I don't wanna go, Mr. Stark, please. Please, I don't wanna go. I don't wanna go..." There is a short silence before Peter speaks again. "I'm sorry." Peter disintegrates into ashes in Tony's arms.
Tony falls forward from the lack of weight in his arms, before staring at his hands in disbelief.
"He did it." Nebula hung her head down mournfully.
Tony mourns silently at their failure.
They were gone.
