Description: It was the reader and Heatwaves date night, and the excitement didn't last when the entire Rescue Crew begins to act off. The reader has no idea what's happening and can't comprehend the situation, but lucky for them Kade helps.
This is based off Rescue Bots Season 3 Episode 8: Switcheroo.

You could feel your body tingle with excitement, not realizing how much you had missed your boyfriend. Every bit of your body numbed with excitement as you quickly finished up cleaning off the counters and table, your supervisor leaning against the counter with a heaving sigh as you skipped about the dinner. He wanted to ask what had gotten you so hyper but once he seen the gleam in your eyes as you slipped out your ear buds, he knew it had to be very important.
Your head tilted up toward the clock hanging on the wall, a familiar gleam in your (e/c) eyes noticing the time as you brought your hands behind your back to undo the apron. Your supervisor gave you a sheepish smile as you scurried passed them to hang up your apron, even before you began to gather your things you could feel his brown eyes on you. But just before you clocked out and opened the door you remembered the pizzas on the counter. Your hands touched the warm white boxes, the scent of cheese, pepperoni and a few other veggies filled you senses nearly making you drool.
"T-Thank you again for letting me off early Mr. Marcello, I'll be sure to remind Kade to thank you for the pizza." You carefully propped the door open, the two pizza boxes barely staying in place.
"See you Monday (y/n)!" His voice was gentle as he watched you enter your car, and drive off out of view.
As you drove down the road you hummed a tune, making sure to stop by the Burns household to give your friend his pizzas you promised the day before and hopefully you'd get home in time to get ready. But as you pulled into the drive way of the garage, which was usually opened, was closed which did make you think something was wrong. You quickly unbuckled your seat belt, and switched out dough smelling t-shirt to a tank top, hoping not to disturb the family with the overwhelming smell of pizza.
Right as you got into the household, you went straight to the living quarters and gently placed down the two large pizza boxes, the scent lingering within the semi-large kitchen. There was no usual bustle of the firehouse, no noticeable sounds or voices, no mechanical rhythms, and no arguing. Sadly this made your heart race as you made your way through the household, not finding any bot or human. When you were about to give up you felt your heart skip a beat as you heard familiar voices mumbling to each other before a voice spoke unknowingly as they rounded the corner.
"Dani!" Your voice was full of excitement and relief as you moved toward the awkwardly smiling female.
Something was off as her usual gear was now replaced with a yellow dress. Although you didn't mind, enjoying the sight of her more feminine side which still kind of disturb you.
"Oh (y/n)! When did you get here?!" Her voice seemed much more energetic, and slightly squeaky, which seemed to throw you off too.
Before you could give a straight answer her body seemed to jolt slightly as she radiated a shining star. Her eyes gleamed as she held up a small tub of ice cream and a spoon full of cookies and cream to your lips, something about her sudden burst of energy reminded you of someone but you couldn't place it.
"Do you want some?" Once again she seemed to jump in her spot, her lips had suddenly become noticeably covered with a pink hue and a strong strawberry scent drifted passed her lips.
You didn't know Dani had such a sweet tooth, which seemed kind of odd since she always watched her figure.
"N-No thanks Dani, would you mind telling me where Heatwave is?" Your voice trembled slightly as you felt her joy almost sink as she hummed slightly, before grabbing your hand.
There was a noticeable stick to her palm as she guided you toward the backyard, the spoon that was once near your lips was now shoved into her mouth as she hummed a muffled melody.
Every movement she made was less graceful as she stumbled over certain objects and nearly fell down the flight of stairs if you hadn't been holding her hand so tightly.
The sight outside was quite odd, seeing all of the Burns family enjoying a moment with their bots because you knew days like these were rare. What really worried you was the fact she stopped abruptly in front of Kade, who was standing beside Bolder along with a tap dancing Cody.
"Heatwave, (y/n) is here to see you!" Dani was quick to let go then prance off over to Blades, who seemed to hold an oddly worried expression directed toward you.
The look didn't spark you as worrisome, all that weirded you out was the odd behavior of the others. Which amounted to Cody loving tap dancing, which was a very special dance that Boulder actually liked. You couldn't find any sight of Chase, or the Chief but they were usually out patrolling the town.
You finally decided to take in the odd details of Kade, whose ginger hair was covered by a helmet which seemed to oddly resemble Heatwaves. The moment didn't last long as you waved slightly moving to glance behind the tall male, hoping to catch a glimpse of Heatwave near by.
"Hey Kade, where's Heatwave? Also is Dani okay? She seems... off, actually you do too. What's with the getup?" You moved closer to him, pointing at at the helmet before gently removing it from his head.
This action caused Kade to scoff, a glowing blush beginning to form on his face as he quickly went to grab it from your grasp. But you moved back, quickly hiding it behind your back as you hummed shaking you head.
"Come on Kade, are you going to answer me? I'd very much like to speak with my boyfriend." You could hear a familiar annoyed growl, which seemed to surprise you.
"H-He's not here right now." Kade's voice was oddly deep, almost as if he was copying Heatwave himself.
You tried to stifle your laughter as you shook your head, pointing up at the black eyed male. He seemed a bit insulted at your attempt to form a sentence only to stumble with laughter.
"W-Why do you sound like that, I didn't know you liked Heatwave that much." You took a deep inhale before slipping the helmet onto your head, giving him a quick wink before trying to imitate his your significant others voice.
"Rescue bots roll to the rescue," once again you burst into laughter at your own take on your lover, not noticing the heavy blush forming on the ginger's face.
You gently tilted up the helmet, hoping to keep it upright due to it being bigger than your head. Which only seemed to worsen the beat red coming to the firefighters face, which you only dumbed it down to anger rather than being embarrassed.
"So, I got you some pizzas. I'm sure it doesn't matter to you what they are, right?" You gently punched his shoulder, giving him a playful smile.
Sadly that didn't end well for you as your hand was quickly snatched into his much larger one, he seemed to examine your hand which weirded you out. Kade slowly brought it up to his face, and slowly began to run his fingers along the knuckles and finger tips. You had no idea what was happening, and the sudden urge to pull away was getting worse. That is until he spoke in that same deep voice, as he brought it up to cup his cheek.
"Your hands are so soft, and warm..." his voice was slightly gentle, almost baffled as he pushed his lips very gently into your palm.
That was it for you, you pulled away quickly, holding your hand close to your chest as you chuckled awkwardly. You slowly began to back away, shaking your head gently as you tried your best not to let your anxieties get to you. Just before you could turn away you ran into a cold metallic figure, whom gently ruffled your hair with their digit. You were grateful for the sudden sense of stability, but once you noticed it was Blades you could barely keep your tears in. You knew Blades was always a big help when it came to your worries, and how scared you got when you had no control over unknown situations.
"Kade, what are you doing?" Blades voice startled you, it sounded much more feminine and so specific.
It also surprised you how easy it was for him to stand up to someone, especially Kade, which was usually hard for the mech to do. But you didn't ponder on it long because once you glanced back you noticed a very big scowl on his features, and a noticeable gleam in his eyes as he glared up at Blades.
"Last time I checked, Blades it wasn't your problem." His voice was deep and held a deep growl, almost like he was actually Heatwave.
You could barely contain your shaky voice as you shook your head, trying your best to speak to the older Burns.
"D-Don't talk to him like that Kade, you're not acting like yourself... n-none of you are?!" You suddenly felt the world crashing down on you as you stumbled away from Blades, whom only seemed to worry for you more.
He stretched out his servo, hoping to gently grab you but once his metal touched your skin you flinched further away. This hurt the deepest parts of his being as he pulled back, hoping to calm you down before you-
"D-Don't touch me! Y-You imposter, g-give me back m-my family... I-I-" your voice cracked as your sudden outburst, this realization only caused you to sniff uncontrollably trying to contain your emotions.
You could see the pain in Blades optics, and the odd gleam in the orange hues that seemed to remind you of a certain female. But you quickly shoved those realizations in the back of your mind as you stumbled back, watching as they surrounded you and taunted you with their piercing eyes. You almost forgot about the helmet atop your head until it fell down and landed harshly against your index finger, the weight only aided in its pressure against your finger being cut open by the rigid edges.
You could feel your skin crawl as you shoved your body back, tripping over your own feet and falling to the ground with an audible grunt. The blood began to dribble onto the concrete, and in that moment you lost it, bursting into tears as you stumbled to your feet heaving a deep breath. You fumbled back once more covering your chest and face, tears spilling like a river. You chocked on the the lump in your throat, which was growing with every word you spoke,
"D-Don't look at me!" The words hurt even you, as you finally covered your eyes on a desperate attempt to protect your self.
You took a staggered breath in and ran into the firehouse, ignoring the voices trailing behind you. You moved passed the halls, trying to contain your whimpers as you rushed into the only room you could think of. The door swung open as you stumbled onto the bed lifting the covers to hide yourself from the world, barely registering the calls for your name and the door swinging open.
You couldn't control your whines as you shoved your face deeper into the pillow, trying your best to keep the ugly cries to a minimum but the strong arms that lifted you from the bed caused you to thrash around. You didn't care if you broke a nose or bruised them badly, all you knew was that you were too scared to face whoever it was. You were to scared to see their disappointed gaze,
"Calm down (y/n).." you stiffened at his voice, at the voice you so desperately wished was your lovers.
But somehow you found comfort in his sudden caring nature, the tight grip he held you in reminded you much of Heatwave. If Heatwave had seen you he would've immediately calmed your nerves, but how were you going to calm down after such an outburst. What were the others thinking about you, were they worried or disgusted? You didn't even notice your panting, and the shaking of your body as Kade's cupped your body close to himself.
"W-Where's Heatwave? I-I-I need Heatwave..." you could hear your hoarse voice pounding into your ears, barely registering the gentle light peaking through your teary eyes at the missing blanket.
You could only feel the gently touch against your face as you gripped desperately against the blanket you were still wrapped in.
"Shh, it's okay (y/n). I'm right here for you, just breath." Kade's much deeper voice soothed a few nerves as you finally caught the breath you didn't realize you were holding.
You could feel his hands gently grip your smaller one, the pinch of pain shocked your body as you hissed trying to pull your hand away. But you were shocked to feel his lips gently press against your palm like he had done before, his tongue gently moving along the gentle crevice between your fingers and up toward the open wound on your finger.
There was a sudden rush of adrenaline, that was accompanied by a disgusted feeling. But as he gently sucked against your finger you huffed, nearly whimpering at the gentle feel of his other hand pulling you closer to his body. You could feel his hand gently trace down your arm, and up toward your face his thumb and index lifted your face up towards him. In a small moment you felt a spark as your eyes locked, an unknown emotion glowed in his dark eyes. You could feel his thumb gently run along your lower lip as he gently let go of your finger, and he sensually licked his lips.
"K-Kade, w-wha-" you were cut off at the gentle kiss against your lips, the small spark of pleasure burned deep within you.
Somehow this felt familiar, the gentle nip against your lower lip caused you to gasp which allowed the older Burns tongue to slip into your mouth. You could taste the bittersweet blood that was your own, even as you tried to pull away you could feel his grip against your waist tighten. Gently he placed you against the bed, leaning closer to your body almost as if he wanted to sink into you. Just for a second he pulled away, a stray piece of saliva connected your lips as he took a deep breath in and groaned quietly.
"I never thought I would be able to kiss you (y/n), I don't care if I'm in his body. You're everything I imagined you'd be." The deep growl within his voice had suddenly started to make sense, the overwhelming love you felt in your heart began to flutter.
Only then did you realize who you were looking at, this whole time it had not been Kade but the very lover you had been seeking. The man before you had Kade's features but deep inside you could see the faint glimmer of your love, the faintest glow of the bot you had fallen so desperately in love with.
"You're so soft, warm and beautiful. You taste so good, I could sit here for hours on end eating you up." You could feel a chill run up your spine as you looked deeply into those black eyes.
But before you could speak you felt his lips press against yours possessively, his hands roamed your body and went into each curve of your being. He gripped your breasts softly, gently kneading them as he pressed his knee gently between your legs. You could feel yourself burning with desire, not noticing that he had gone beneath your shirt until he broke away to kiss up your stomach and in between your breast. Slowly you felt his tongue run along your rib cage and around your already hardened nipple, each exhale began to tickle your body as goosebumps began to form.
"You're so beautiful (y/n), you're everything I want. Tell me you love me, tell me who you belong to my spark." Heatwave was all you could hear as you gasped, feeling his mouth surround your nipple within its warmth.
The gently suck was all it took for you to grind gently into his thigh, Kade's much larger and muscular body was only imagined as your lover as you moaned his name sensually.
"H-Heatwave, I-I-I love you so-" your voice broke as you gasped once more, feeling your body tingle as he traced his tongue against your other bud.
He took his time indulging in your sweet sounds, and the unknown taste of your body as you gripped the blanket beneath you. Each kiss and gently tug against your nipple sent you over the edge as you felt his hand gently grip your hip, digging his nails into your soft skin. The folds of your flesh began to make you feel less self-conscious, and each kiss along your arms and stomach only brought small tears to your eyes as you felt him gently pull down your pants.
"Look at you my spark, so desperate for me. You look so beautiful like this, so vulnerable. You're absolutely amazing, tell me I'm the only one who can make you feel this way." Heatwave's voice was so much louder, so much hotter.
You could feel his metallic breath on you already, imagining his robotic being staring at you with those deep orange optics. He gently began to press his tongue between your legs, lapping up the juices that had spilled out from you. He sucked and kissed every inch of you, not bothered at the gentle feel of your thighs squeezing every now and again and if he was being completely honest he loved that feeling of them squeezing his face.
Heatwave allowed his hands to grip your hips, shoving you up into his mouth not bothered at your shaking legs. The feeling of you gripping the ginger locks atop his head made him groan into you, his body tingled with passion as he gently licked and sucked barely being able to get a breath in as you moaned his name. Each passing second he could feel your body tense and pulse with such desire, his hands gripped your inner thigh, lifting you gently from the bed as your legs shook much harder this time as a heavy feeling filled you stomach. With one last long and sloppy suck you had felt release, each wave hitting you over and over as his hands gripped your thighs tightly.
You didn't think much about it until you felt a loud hum vibrate between you legs, and he stood up wiping his face as his tongue grazed against his lips. The sight before you was unholy as he hummed with such an animal like growl, his eyes lit up as he groaned once more.
"You taste absolutely delicious my spark." You could hear him chuckle that same deep chuckle you fell in love with.
Instantly he laid against your chest wrapping his arms around your torso, and giving you a tight squeeze. This caused you to hum, almost forgetting the situation that had happened before.
"Promise me you'll let me do this again, when I'm actually me." Heatwave gently kissed the small dip between your breasts, his gentle suck leaving a small mark against your skin.
You gently ran your hand through Kade's hair, noticing how soft it was and that's when you realized what had just happened. The moment didn't last long when you could feel your mind swell with unknown answers,
"Wait, so you're Heatwave in Kade's body, does that mean Kade is in your body? Is this with everyone else too?" Your voice was laced with concern as you moved slightly trying to sit up, but Kade gently pushed you further into the bed.
"Yes. Blades is Dani, vise versa, Boulder and Cody are switched, Chase and Francine, and Chief and Dr. Greene." His voice lingered in the air as he pressed his face closer to your chest, easily keeping you in place as he hummed loudly.
You didn't know how to go about the situation, but now that you knew it made you worry less. Maybe this was a good thing, maybe this is what everyone needed to understand one another...
"Maybe I should apologize to everyone, I'm pretty sure I scared them." You tried once again to shift up, but Kade pushed himself deeper into you letting out a grunt of disapproval.
"Stop moving, I want to hear your heart beat... Also they'll be fine, don't worry about them just let me enjoy being with you like this."

This was very self indulging, I also didn't know whether or not to do a male or female reader so I couldn't be very descriptive. But hopefully y'all can tell me whether you think a female or male would be better😅
