     NOBODY LEFT BEHIND-038

"What's that?" Maggie asked, walking over to a sign with Lee, Lola, Bob, and Sasha following.

"Terminus." Bob said, reading the sign. "When we were out on the to the veterinary college, we heard a message about this on the radio."

"They were broadcasting?" Maggie asked, looking at Bob.

"What did it say?" Sasha asked.

"Couldn't make it out. I only know becuase I'm seeing it now. Those who arrive survive. " Bob explained.

"We should go." Maggie said which made Sasha shook her head.

"I throught we were looking for Glenn and Kelly."

"If Glenn saw one of these, he would go looking for me looking for him. Kelly too. Look at this map. All there tracks from different diretions leading to the same place."

"It's far. And we don't know if there are other signs." Sasha argued as Bob stood it the middle of them awkwardly.

"You don't think this is the only one." Maggie aruged back.

"This is the best lead we've had so far. It was says sanctuary. That's just reason to try. Others from the prison could be there. Tyreese. Kelly, Daryl, Beth, Rick." Bob said, cutting in.

"If it sounds too good to be true...Maybe if Glenn saw one of these, maybe he felt the same way." Sasha said, looking at Maggie.

"He wouldn't. He'd believe, I know."

"What do you want to do, Sasha? Keeping making these circles from the bus? Or are you talking about us starting to do something else? We're not splitting up. That can't happen. We also have a kid to look after. You want to take a vote or something?" Bob says, standing next to Maggie.

Lee and Lola stood next to Bob, agreeing with Maggie. They need to go there, their family might be there. His sisters, brother, and dad.

"We don't need to vote." Sasha said, walking away. The four of them smiled at each other as they followed.

"Where's Maggie?" Bob asked looking around for Maggie.

They had set up a camp for the night, with metal boards around them.

"Getting more firewood." Sasha said, trying to a can of beans with her knife. "Still bleeding?"

"Barely. So tell me..."

"Tell you what?" Sasha said, handing the now open can to Lee, who took it willingly. "Here, Lee. Share it with Lola."

"You think we should stop." Bob said, casuing Sasha to look at him.

"Yeah." She repiled, opening another can of beans.

"Tell me why."

"To not die. You, Maggie, Lola, Lee, me." Sasha said.

"Yeah, that's not it."

"What?"

"I don't think you know why you want to stop." Bob says.

"Bob, what happened this morning, we get warnings." Sasha said, irritated.

"We did fine."

"We get warnings. And the next time it's on us. Odds are Glenn is dead. So is Kelly. Odds are we will be, too." Sasha said, making Lola look at her.

"You better keep my wife's name out of your mouth. She and Glenn are not dead, Sasha. Nor is Violet. They're survivors, like Tyresse. Have a little fucking faith for once in your damn life, Sasha." Lola snapped.

"That's the reality, Lola. We got six bullets and Bob is still bleeding. Those tracks. They run through towns. The first one we see, we find a building, some higher ground to set up in. All of us. That's what we need to do. That's what we are gonna do. If we can talk Maggie into it." Sasha said, looking between Bob and Lola. "Just think about it."

The next morning, Sasha woke up and saw Bob, Lee, and Lola looking at something.

"Guys? She asked, standing next to Lola. She looked down and saw something written in the dirt.

Don't risk your lives 4 me, Good luck.

"Bob." Sasha said, making Bob look up at her.

"Come on. She's got to follow the tracks. We still can still catch up to her." Bob says as he and Lee rolled up the tarp they slept on as Lola packed the rest of their supplies. "Sasha, we can still catch up to her."

They walked long the tracks, Lee and Lola walked in front of the other two.

"You have been grinning since we left the prison in one piece. If you're so happy to be alivel, then why are we walking into the heart of darkness?" Lola heard Sasha say.

She rolled her eyes, thinking that Sasha has a heart of darkness or at least a heart of negativity. Lola was getting tried of Sasha's negativity of not finding their family.

"It's not about me being alive." Bob said, still grinning.

"Do you even know why you're smiling?" Sasha scoffed.

"Oh, yeah. I'm not alone. That's how it happened when I lost my first group. And my second group. I broke that streak. You'd be smiling, too. Self-awarenss is a beautiful thing. You shold try it sometime. Oh, you're not going to take the bait?" Bob asked, looking around.

"Nope." Sasha repiled.

"You're just as bullheaded as Maggie is sometimes. You know that?" Bob said, before stopping when they saw another sign.

Glenn. Go to Terminus, Maggie.

The night, they stayed in a abandoned building. Lola was laying in the ground with Lee's head on her stomach as Walkers snarled around them

"I'm awake." Bob said, sitting up.

"So am I." Sasha replied.

"Can you see it?" Bob asked.

"No. Beem that way for an hour. Might be stuck on something." Sasha said.

"There's a lot of noise at night. Cicadas, owls. I think sometimes they go in circles. Still, when I was out her by myself, I didn't sleep much."

"You're not sleeping much now. You've got to heal. You need to sleep." Sasha commented, looking ahead of her.

"I can try." Bob said, laying back down. "I tried."

"Bob, what the hell are we doing out here?" Sasha asked, with tears in her eyes.

"Why do you think Tyreese is dead?"

"What?"

"If Tyresse were alive, he'd go for Terminus. I know you know that. So why do you think he's dead? Or are you just too afraid to find out if he is or not? Hmm. Up until now, I throught you were the toughest person I ever met. Whick is kind of weird, cause you were the sweetest, too. Just saying." Bob said, making Sasha look at him.

Lola and Lee had fallen alsleep in the middle of their convention as Bob layed down agian for the second time that night.

"She's keeping to the trucks. If we pick up the pace, we'll catch her." Bob said, as they came to another sign.

In the morning, They continued walking until they came to a brick building.

"Bob, Lola, Lee, right there. Secure and high up. See if we can set up something to catch the rain. See if we could move from the rooftops to look for food. Maybe even try to grow some uo there." Sasha said as they walked closer.

"Sasha, I'm not stopping." Bob said.

"I'm not either." Lee added as Lola nodded in agreement.

"We are." Sasha instined.

"We're not. Maggie's out there alone." Lee said as he shook his head.

"She didn't want us to come. She made her choice for her."

"I don't care. She's alone. She's our family. Ohana means family. Family means nobody gets left behind." Lee said, making Sasha look at him.

"Did you really just quote Lilo and Stitch?" Sasha shook her head.

"When I got to the prison, I throught to myself, "How long"? The clock's ticking. "How long until everyone else is dead and I'm on my own?" Bad things happened 'cause I was scared. They didn't need to...I didn't need to be afraid. Now we get to Terminus and Tyreese isn't there, it doen't mean he's dead. You don't need to afraid." Bob explained, ignoring the Lilo and stitch quote.

"I am not afraid." Sasha defended herself, turning to Bob.

"So this is it?" Bob asked, looking at his girlfriend.

"It doesn't have to be." Sasha said.

"That's right. I'm gonna try something here." Bob said, causing Lola to walk away.

"And I'm out. Let's go, Lee." She said, walking with Lee away from the two. Bob leaned down and kissed Sasha on the lips.

As the two went towards the building they stopped when Bob passed them.

"Bob?" Lee asked before looking back at Sasha.

When the four of them got to the building, they carefully walked inside, walked up stairs to see that the building was unfinshed. At the top, Lee went to look around area, while Lola set down her stuff.

Upon hearing crying, she turning to see Sasha wiping away tears. "Sasha? Are you alright?"

"Yeah, yeah. I'm fine." The fellow dark skinned woman said before walking towards a window.

Sasha held up her conpass, when she saw a familar body laying on the ground. "Lola. Come here,"

Waving of the woman, Sasha touched the window, it to fall out of the window seal. It crashed on the ground below, startling the familar body. The body sat up, revealing Maggie.

"Is that Maggie?" Lola asked, as walkers came out from behind the ice cream truck.

"Oh, shit." Sasha said, running to get her stuff.

Lola followed, picking up her and Lee's stuff. "Lee, come on!"

They ran down the stairs, and out the building as Sasha and Lee rushed to Maggie. Lola climbed on the car in front of Sasha's car, stabbing walkers as they tried getting them.

Maggie came from behind the ice cream truck with a street sign. She cropped though walkers as Sasha,
Lee, and Lola jumped off the cars and went back to back with Maggie. They hit the last three walkers.

"Where's bob?" Maggie asked.

"Out looking for you." Sasha said as they stood back to back watching for anymore walkers. "Why are you here?"

"I was looking for another walker. Found more than I wanted. You know, I was lying there and I rememberer...I heard what you said back at the camp. I heard you say you throught we should be in a town." Maggie told them.

"What else did you hear me say?"

"That odds are Glenn and Kelly are dead. And we should stop. How Lola defended Kelly and Glenn honor." Maggie said. "But you're wrong."

"So why are you here?" Sasha asked agian, turning to Maggie.

"Cause I was waiting for you, Lee, and Lola. I'm not giving up. But I need your help. Cause I can't do it by myeself. And even if I catch up to Bob, we can't do it alone. I throught that I couldn't ask you to risk your life, Lee's, Lola's, Bob's. But I can. Cause I know what you'd be risking it for. And it isn't just Glenn. I get that you're afraid."

"I am. I am afraid." Sasha cut in.

"We could get there." Maggie added, looking at her friend.

"I know. So let's go get Bob and let's get there."

***

"Bob." Maggie called as they caught up with the man.

The said man stopped, turning around and saw Maggie, Sasha, Lola, and Lee smiling as they walked towards him.

Once they got to him, Maggie and Bob hugged before pulling apart. He looked Sasha before hugging her.

"Come on! Terminus, here we come!" Lola cheered as she grabbed Lee's hand.
She was walking ahead of them a little with Maggie, Sasha, and Bob smiling as they followed behind.
