"Okay, students. This topic, I want all of you to pair with each other. The two parties must be responsible for this project. And I want the presentation by the day after tomorrow."
The teacher gave a piece of article to each one of the students. Once done, she went back to her desk and packed her things.
"That's all for today. Thank you, class."
She exited the classroom.
Minhee put her notebook into her bag and zipped it up.
"So?"
She looked up at the boy in grey hoodie, Joe.
"What?"
"When do we start?"
Minhee stared at him then shrugged.
"Later."
"Where?"
"Library."
"Okay then. Come on, I want to go to the cafe."
Joe tugged at Minhee's sleeve and pouted. Minhee unfazed by the boy's cute action, she stood up, swinging her bag onto her shoulder and walked away. Joe followed her like a lost puppy.
"Wah! It's so good!"
Joe sipped his chocolate milkshake with happiness. They're inside a cafe they used to hang out. Joe ordered chocolate milkshake while Minhee ordered an Oreo milkshake.
Minhee was typing on her phone.
You:
I'll be home late today.
I have some project to
finish with Joe.
Can I go shopping too?
Mr. Totoro:
Yes, you can.
Make sure to get home early
before 6.
You:
Aye aye captain.
Minhee put her phone down and drink her milkshake.
"What did he say?"
Joe looked at her with his big doe eyes.
"Go home before 6."
"Wow, your brother are really caring. Unlike my brother, San."
Brother, of course. Minhee had to lie about having a brother to cover up about Mr. Totoro is a mafia. Luckily, the sweet boy believed her.
"You done? We have to finish this today quick."
Joe glared at her.
"Geez, can I at least enjoy my moment."
Both of them stood up and exited the cafe.
