While Reaper and Geno were having there moment, Thistle was now running away from Lavender while Patch was trying to keep up. "THISTLE!!!" Lavender teased, "GET AWAY FROM ME! I HUG YOU FOR A WHILE AND NOW YOU'RE TRYING TO SMOTHER ME!!" Thistle yelled, running away, out of breath.
Thistle soon reached the top of the hill before Lavender accidentally bumped into him which caused both of them to fall down the hill. Patch reach the top and started to breathe heavily, leaning on his knees, trying to catch his breath, "I-I can't...k-keep up," Patch heavily said before collapsing on his knees, watching them tumble down.
Thistle and Lavender reached the bottom of the hill, ignoring how Geno and Reaper are hugging in the middle of the hill.
Lavender laughed, "I've missed you, pal! It's been a while since I've seen you, I was getting kind of worried about where you went!" Lavender chuckled at the bottom of the hill, sitting up holding his head as Thistle laid on the grass dizzy from the rolling.
"Y-Yeah...s-sure pal," Thistle said as the world seemed to have spun for him. Geno and Reaper soon broke there hug, but they kept their hands entangled with each other. Geno got up with Reaper as they both walked down the hill to Thistle and Lavender.
"You two okay?" Geno asked. Lavender nodded, "You're new! I'm Lavender!" Lavender introduced himself, "I've heard! Thistle has talked a lot about you!" Geno smiled.
"I'm Geno! This is Reaper! Up on the hill struggling to breathe is Patch!" Geno smiled. "Well, it's nice to meet you friendly folk!" Lavender said. "So, you've been talking about me?" Lavender grinned at Thistle.
Thistle quickly sat up, "NO! Not that mu- woaaah..." Thistle got dizzy again from sitting up too quickly. Lavender chuckled, "You're silly Thistle!" Lavender said as he stood up. Thistle got his balance back as Lavender helped him up to his feet.
"Oh! Reaper! This is Thistle!" Geno smiled, "He's the one I was stuck with! His company was nice, and his stories were so interesting!" Geno said
Thistle chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck, looking down with a grin, "Oh? I see," Reaper said. Inside of Reaper a match had been lit, his mind brought up red flags as it screamed with sirens of warning and anger.
"It's nice to meet you!" Reaper smiled as he stuck out his hand on purpose with a smile, Thistle first instinct was to take his hand as he took his hand out, and as close as he was Geno noticed, "Oop! Lemme stop you right there!" Geno chuckled nervously as he took and held Thistle's hand. "Reaper is the ACTUAL Grim Reaper," Geno said, "Oh! Whoops! It's just a reflex when I meet new people!" Reaper lied with a smile. Thistle nodded with a smile and chuckled it off even if he was screaming in terror inside. Patch started to make his way to them.
Damn it, Geno! Why did you stop me from killing him?! Reaper thought as he continued to chuckled
That was a close one...one touch and I would have been a goner... Thistle thought with a smile on his face.
"Say, Geno, have anywhere else you need to go to?" Thistle asked, "No? Why?" Geno asked, "Lavender able to make a party in a matter of seconds, it's a curse to me, but at least I get food out of it," Thistle said.
Lavender chuckled with his smile fading just a little bit, "Sure!" Geno smiled. Reaper eyed Geno, wanting time alone with him, but sadly that'll have to wait.
Patch finally made it down to the four of them, "B-Brother!" Patch breathed, "Oh! Right! Reaper, can you bring Patch which is now my new brother over to your house?" Geno smiled.
Just when I see you I have to leave... Reaper thought in his mind, displeased from this treatment. Reaper shrugged, "Sure, I'll be quick!" Reaper said as he walked over to Patch and opened a portal to Reapertale as the two of them went through.
"How 'bout we go to your house, Lavender?" Thistle said, "Um-" Lavender got interrupted as Thistle held onto both Geno and Lavender arms before they both teleported to Lavender's house.
"Wow! You have a lovely house, Lavender!" Geno said. Lavender's house was close to the forest, and it was like a cottage or shack made of wood. "Well, thank you!" Lavender smiled, "Come on, I'll show you around inside!" Thistle said. Thistle and Geno walked over to the house as Lavender stayed behind and just watched.
As the two went inside Lavender's smile went away. Something is off...he's not so friendly to others, not even me...who is this Geno, and what does he have or done that has caused Thistle friendship... Lavender thought. A red flag went off for Lavender, but he called his friends over by phone anyways if that's what Thistle wanted...
Reaper came back after explaining Patch to Frisk and Chara, and finishing a whole cup of Starbucks from Mettaton, but noticed Geno, Thistle, and Lavender wasn't there anymore. Reaper could feel souls from afar.
None of them were close to him, they seemed young- well...except one, which Reaper could only assume is Geno. He followed the pull of his heart and soon reached a cottage. He saw the lights on with laughter and talking from inside.
The only person outside was Lavender, "Oh?" Lavender noticed Reaper walking closer. Reaper looked at the house and noticed it was made out of wood. Reaper huffed, but didn't risk him falling in a hole-
Lavender was standing on the high porch, which you'd have to reach by talking a short staircase.
"It's Reaper, hey!" Lavender put his smile back on, "...I can only assume you can't go inside since the house is made of wood...right?" Lavender asked. Reaper looked down to see the grass below him dead, "Seems so, since I can still kill anything I touch...despite my shoes..." Reaper said.
Now that he thinks about it...what's wrong with his shoes if he can still kill grass even if he's wearing shoes. Like...no one would die if they touch loose pieces of his clothes...as weird as that is, but his shoes are a different story?
Reaper picked up his leg and looked at the bottom of his shoes. Lavender rose a brow. Oh...there was a hole.
"...I need new shoes..." Reaper said, "Pfft- If you want some, I could lend you some old shoes...they're purple though," Lavender said, "No thanks, I think I'm good, say, where is Geno?" Reaper asked.
Lavender sighed, "With Thistle..." Lavender said, leaning on his palm as his body leaned on the bar of the porch. Reaper also sighed, "With Thistle huh..." Reaper groaned.
"...Wish I could be inside," Reaper said. Thistle was quiet for a while, "I got an idea! I have fireworks in my garage, I could probably get everyone to go outside like that! What do you think?" Lavender smile.
Reaper smiled, "That's a great idea!" Reaper smiled, "Sure! Just give me a second! I'll be right back!" Lavender said, standing up and turning to go inside, "I'll wait right here!" Reaper smiled.
He randomly got nostalgia from when Night would tell him to stay put, but shook it off after a while. Lavender went inside and passed by all the people talking and drinking juice they had.
Lavender noticed Geno and Thistle talking on the couch inside in the living room. In the corner, closest to where they were sitting was a Christmas tree Lavender never took down. The room was golden and smelled of honey, Thistle, and Geno sitting near a lamp, next to a tree.
The couch was a dark red, with pictures hanging over it. Lavender can see the full interest Geno had in Thistle's story. Lavender remembers that story...it was a silly one where Lavender asked- or well...forced Thistle to bake cookies with him, and how much of a catastrophic it was.
Geno was giggling and smile, his face turned red from all the laughing as Geno seemed to lean a bit closer. Honestly, to Lavender, it looked like they were more than friends...even more than best friends truly.
Lavender huffed to himself, puffing his cheeks out in annoyance as he stormed off in the garage. Once he was in the garage alone he started mumbling insults to himself.
"So close to Thistle...what's Geno got that I don't?... I have everything!" Lavender said. Lavender found the multiple boxes of fireworks he had from Undyne having too many last 4th of July that it was illegal, so Lavender confiscated them all.
Lavender stood up, "...I'm a good listener! I have a wonderful smile and laugh! I'm caring, comforting, funny, and interesting!" Lavender told himself, "So what does Geno have that I don't?!" Lavender huffed to himself as he quickly grabbed a lighter.
He was quiet, thinking about it as he walked to the side of the door in the garage as he unlocked it and came outside from there as he walked from the side of the house to the front. "...Nothing!" Lavender said out loud.
"Huh?" Reaper rose a brow, "Oop- Oh...nothing, don't worry about it," Lavender said, "You have a lot of fireworks," Reaper smiled, "4th of July can get crazy sometimes," Lavender chuckled nervously.
"I like bombs, so this should be fun!" Reaper smile, "Sure!" Lavender said. Reaper opened a box and picked the smallest ones first and placed them down a distance from the house. Lavender grabbed the hose from the side of the house and turned it on, just in case a fire starts.
Lavender gave Reaper the hose as he went to go light the firework. Reaper put the water under his hands and felt the cold water wet his hands. He looked at his wet hand before lifting the hose and drinking the water coming out of it.
Lavender lit the firework and quickly backed up as they both watched it. It was a fountain firework, so it wasn't much, but it was still pretty.
It was a golden spark color, till it turned to green and red, with occasional purple coming out as it started to make popping sounds as blue showed up randomly at every pop.
Reaper looked at it with amazement. Lavender smiled at Reaper, this seems to be his first experience with fireworks, "...So cool," Reaper smiled
"So cool..." Lavender replied.
Soon it ended as Reaper splashed it with water. It seemed Undyne had noticed the noise of sparks of fireworks as everyone seemed to become more aware of it as Reaper and Lavender lit more.
The next was a big spherical firework. Lavender lit it up, knowing what this firework was gonna do from last year's incident. He lit it up as he ran back, Reaper took that as a sign to also run back.
The firework started to flash a white bright light over and over again before it exploded with a big bang with the colors pinkish purple and green exploding close to them. Reaper shrieked in fear as Lavender laughed from Reaper fear, seeing how it was funny this time, unlike last time.
More people started to come outside to watch them light fireworks. Thistle and Geno noticed them light fireworks as got up from there sit to also watch.
Lavender lit another one which was one that went up in the air. Lavender back up as it shot up with an ear-piercing sound before exploding loudly in the air with a big bag with a sprinkle of trickling afterward.
It did this 5 times with different colors with it ending in gold. Everyone ooed~ and awed~ in entertainment. Reaper sprinkled the used fireworks with water, taking a drink from the hose as well.
Geno smiled at Reaper attempted but still seemed close to Thistle. As Lavender and Reaper lit more fireworks, Thistle started a conversation again with Geno, Geno watching the fireworks and listening as Thistle continued his story.
Reaper and Lavender huffed and puffed both their cheeks at the two for not noticing them. "Hey punks!" Undyne said, getting the two attention, "How 'bout we set them all on fire at the same time!" Undyne smile.
Reaper and Lavender smiled as they started to set a whole box in a line. Reaper was ready with the hose posing as hose man, the grim reaper that'll most likely stop a small fire, but will run if a whole forest is burning down-
Lavender, being Mr. Lighter, the sans that will most likely cause himself to go on fire, making Reaper soak him in water
And Undyne, the instigator who is probably gonna throw fireworks at Lavender while they're still exploding and are on fire, and is probably the one to cause a forest fire.
Undyne when inside the house quickly, and came back out with another lighter. When she went over to the fireworks, Lavender and Undyne started to light the fireworks together from two ends as the met in the middle before backing up.
The fireworks made all kinds of noises, popping, cracking. The fireworks spiraled, as some shot fireworks up in the air and exploded.
The sky was lit in colors and sounds of explosion. Reaper smiled at the fireworks, but looked back at Geno and Thistle and saw the two of them looking at the sky together.
Reaper huffed, he felt angry. He should be the one Geno should be looking at the fireworks with, not Thistle. Geno should be looking at him, smiling at him, thanking him for such a pretty night, but Geno seems too close to Thistle, Reaper hated it.
Reaper looked back at the fireworks in the sky, and on the ground...they seem less bright now.
Undyne grabbed a firework in her hands and started running around with it as everyone else ran away from Undyne from how crazy she is.
Lavender caught on fire as Reaper sprayed him with water.
"UNDYNE! DON'T RUN WITH A FIREWORK!!" Poppy, which is Lavender's brother yelped. Reaper started to chase Undyne to put the firework out, but the firework soon burnt out in her hands. "Aww..." she whined.
Reaper sprayed Undyne with water-
Geno chuckled looking at the chaos. Thistle also laughed a little. Soon they cleaned up the firework show as Undyne dried herself with a towel Lavender gave her, as Lavender dried himself up.
Thistle soon brought Geno back inside...Reaper groaned and whined wanting Geno to stay outside, but Geno couldn't hear him.
Everyone started to go inside to get more food and drinks. Lavender and Reaper stayed outside. Reaper sat in front of the wooden steps.
Lavender sat on the steps, drying himself, "...Sorry that you're soaked," Reaper said, "It's fine, maybe my clothes will grow more flowers from the water," Lavender said, a bit sarcastically.
"...Our plan failed..." Reaper said, "Cheer up bud, they'll tire themselves out...or more like, I will, and you'll have Geno to yourself, and I'll hang out with Thistle," Lavender said.
"Do you like Thistle?" Reaper asked, looking up at Lavender. Lavender suddenly blushed, "Hehe, a bit odd for a stranger to ask me if I like someone, we just met," Lavender, "I know, I just...Geno and I are together...I don't get why they're with Thistle, instead of me," Reaper said
"Are you...jealous?" Lavender asked. Reaper turned his head to the side as his face turned a bit blue, "N-...No?" Reaper replied. Lavender sighed and looked up at the starry sky, "I'm jealous too bud," Lavender admitted.
"Is that why you were willing to help me?" Reaper asked, "Yeah," Lavender smiled, "You can say me and Thistle are friends with benefits," Lavender said.
Reaper tilted his head at Lavender, "Friends with benefits?" Reaper asked, Lavender, looked at Reaper, and chuckled, "We're not doing anything sexual if that's what you're confused about," Lavender said.
"Wha? What're friends with benefits?" Reaper asked. "Oh? It's where you're friends with someone, but there are 'benefits' like...how do I explain...you can still be friends, but do things couples or married people do, depends on the two people," Lavender said.
"A...better example?" Reaper asked, "Like...you and Geno could be friends, but still kiss each other, that's an example," Lavender said. "Oh!... What are the benefits for you then?" Reaper asked
"Psh...I'm not sure if Thistle will be all too happy if I told you," Lavender smiled, "I won't tell! Promise! I'd pinky promise you, but I can't!" Reaper shot up, looking at Lavender.
Lavender rose a brow with a smile, He weirdly sounded like a little kid, and it was even weirder that it was cute Lavender though. Lavender chuckled, "Air pinky promise then," Lavender said, taking his pinky out.
Reaper stuck his pinky out, "Cool, now you can't tell Thistle," Lavender smiled. Reaper nodded in agreement. Lavender and Reaper put down their pinkies. "Thistle allows me to cuddle him sometimes, it's only those few times where he feels down in the dumps, that's all I'm able to do," Lavender said
"Me and Geno cuddle," Reaper smiled, Lavender smiled back, "You two seem perfect for each other...I wish I had the same relationship status," Lavender said, "But, no matter, I'm fine taking it slow, there's no rush, I just don't want to jeopardize my friendship with Thistle because of Geno is all, no offense," Lavender said
"I completely understand! Geno and my relation just started, to be honest, I don't want to let it go," Reaper said. Lavender smile got bigger, "Don't ever let it go, even for a second Reaper," Lavender said.
Lavender stood up, "Alright! I'm gonna crash the party, I need sleep, but I can't leave everyone in my house, I'll just be a second and you'll have Geno...maybe," Lavender shrugged as he started to make his way.
Reaper sighed...he was alone again.
Reaper stood up and walked away from the house a bit, but stayed in front of it. He laid on the grass and looked up at the sky.
The stars twinkled, but to Reaper, they all seemed to be duller than they once were. Reaper stayed out there still people started to walk out Lavender house, telling him goodnight as they started to walk to there own house. Reaper sat up and turned before seeing Thistle and Geno walking down.
Geno started to look around, "Actually...where is Reaper?" Geno asked Thistle. Thistle also looked around and saw him looking at them. Thistle chuckled, "Right in front of you nerd," Thistle said.
Geno hummed in confusion before looking ahead, seeing Reaper started to stand up. "Okay! I have to go now! Bye Thistle! I'll see you some other time! 'Kay!" Geno said, waving goodbye as Geno walked over to Reaper.
Thistle waved goodbye to Geno as Lavender walked next to Thistle as Thistle waved goodbye to Geno.
"Thistle, let's go inside," Lavender said. "Huh? Sure, okay," Thistle said, a bit confused as to why Lavender wants Thistle to stay.
Reaper opened a portal back to Reapertale as Geno and Reaper went through, back inside the house. Frisk, Chara, and Patch were sitting on the couch, asleep. The lights in the house were off, so it seemed everyone else was asleep.
Geno looked around at how quiet it was, "Reaper-"
Reaper ignored Geno and stormed upstairs into his room. Geno looked in confusion and followed Reaper upstairs to his room.
Reaper left his door opened, Geno looked into the dark bedroom to see Reaper laying on his bed, his back turned towards Geno.
Geno sighed, knowing something was wrong. Geno walked into the room and closed the door. "Reaper?..." Geno spoke. Reaper curled himself up into a ball, ignoring Geno.
Geno looked down, but walked over to Reaper bed and sat on the edge. "Is there...something wrong?" Geno asked.
Reaper sat up, "What do you think Geno..." Reaper looked away from Geno, "If it's about me leaving you outside, I forgot you couldn't go inside a wooden house, okay?" Geno said. Geno tried holding Reaper arm, but Reaper pulled away.
"What's wrong? Can't I fix it?" Geno asked. "Tell me...what were you talking about with Thistle?" Reaper asked.
Is that what he's angry about? Not being in our conversation? Where is he getting at? Geno thought
Thistle was just telling me different stories about his AU, and Lavender AU, and they stuff they do together. I can tell you the stories he told me Reaper," Geno said. Reaper scoffed, "That's not it...what is it then? Is it because I wasn't with you Reaper? As I said, I forgot you couldn't go inside, I sort of got used to you walking around this house, and back at the palace," Geno said
Reaper shook his head, "Just...forget about it," Reaper said, laying back down. Geno scoffed, "Is it because I was so interested in Thistle? What's so wrong with making a new friend Reaper!" Geno huffed, standing up from the bed, frustrated.
Reaper sat up and stood up from the bed, "What's so interesting about Thistle huh? What about me?! What has Thistle done that I haven't!!" Reaper yelled back in anger
"It's not that you haven't done anything wrong, and it's not something you haven't done before!... I was alone...I missed you in that...dark place," Geno said, looking to the side since he could bear to look at Reaper when he's angry.
"He was there for me when I was thinking about you...I'm grateful he did that, that's all that was Reaper!" Geno said, "Aren't you grateful towards me? Huh?! What about me?!" Reaper growled back.
"...What about you?" Geno said in confusion.
Reaper took a step back in disbelief. All that time, fighting Fatal_Error, trying to get Geno back...and he has the nerve to-... Reaper was more pissed.
Reaper turned around. Geno realized he said something wrong. Reaper suddenly turned back around and pinned Geno against the wall. "I was fighting Fatal_Error over...and over, and over again, trying to make him tell me where you were...I WAS ABOUT TO KILL HIM FOR YOU...I was dying without you...desperate to get you back, after I just figure out you loved me!" Reaper yelled back, his voice shivered a bit in sorrow.
Geno was scared, he's never seen Reaper like this. "...I felt so betrayed...how I got you back, and you decided to spend your time with Thistle of all people...and not me..." Reaper said.
"I-..." Geno didn't know what to say...there wasn't much for him to say.
"...Don't you love me?" Reaper asked, "Of course! There's no question to if I love you!" Geno said, "Prove it to me..." Reaper said.
"...Huh?" Geno asked, "Prove to me that you love me! Show me that you will always be with me!" Reaper huffed.
Reaper seems seriously torn. He'd really go to the ends of the Multiverse for me... Geno thought.
Geno slowly placed his hands on Reaper cheeks, softly. Geno got closer, as they were about to kiss, but Reaper pulled back and pushed Geno hands away from him and he took steps back, away from Geno, "I don't want to kiss you! I'm angry at you, prove to me, a better way," Reaper huffed.
"...Reaper...I'm honestly sorry, okay? I love you so much Reaper...I would also die for you, you're feeling...my feelings for you are real, okay! I didn't know okay?! I'm...sorry...I want to be happy with you, I want you to be happy Reaper, so...if there is anything you want to do to me, then do it! I don't care!" Geno said.
Reaper looked over to Geno, glaring at them, "...What if I wanted to hurt you?" Reaper asked, "Do it! Right in the chest!" Geno said, spreading his arms out. "...What if I wanted to kill you?" Reaper asked, "...Try your best! I won't struggle!" Geno said.
"What if I wanted you to disappear? To never see your face again?" Reaper huffed. "...I-I'm willing to do that...I-I deserve it anyways...a-as much as it will h-hurt me..." Geno's body started to tremble, along with his voice.
"I-I won't be a-a-able to forgive myself for hurting you...b-b-but I'll stay out your w-way...i-if that's what you w-want..." Geno started to form tears. He felt as if Reaper was going to get rid of him.
He was terrified. Geno fell to his knees as the tears in his eyes started to fall, as he started to cry quietly. Reaper kept glaring at Geno on the floor but knelt to him.
Reaper put Geno arms down and wiped Geno's eyes, "Quit crying..." Reaper said, "Y-You're not g-gonna d-d-dump me?...A-A-Are you?..." Geno cried as his tears seemed to have gotten bigger.
"Of course not..." Reaper said. Geno sniffed in the air to stop himself from crying, trying to calm down as Reaper wiped Geno's eyes from the river of tears falling off his chin.
Reaper stood up and helped Geno stand him. Reaper sat back on his bed and sighed. Geno was still sniffling, wiping his eyes from the moisture. Geno sat next to Reaper as he looked down. Reaper looked over at Geno as he kept wiping his eyes.
"...Geno?" Reaper said, Geno, hummed and turned his attention over to Reaper, "What is it?..." Geno asked. Reaper placed a hand on Geno's cheek and moved closer to him. Geno hummed and responded by getting closer as they started to kiss each other.
Reaper hand slid down to Geno's hip as he pulled Geno closer as Geno hummed in the kiss. It was slow and sweet. Geno wrapped his arms around Reaper neck to get as close to him as possible.
Reaper and Geno kept making out till Reaper pinned Geno down to his back, "Ah! Reaper?" Geno yelped from how sudden it was.
Reaper moved his head over to Geno's neck and started to lick his neck, "Ah~" Geno suddenly moaned, "R-Reaper! This is all of a sudden! S-Slow down!" Geno panicked. Reaper placed his hands on Geno sides, sliding up as Geno felt his body tingle from his touches
"R-Reaper! Mmh~ P-Please, calm down," Geno whimpered. Reaper's hand went to Geno's chest as he started to massage his ribs from outside his shirt.
Reaper started to suck on Geno's neck as Geno squirmed as his face turned red, "Oh g-gosh~..." Geno said in a flustered tone, "S-Stop, p-please," Geno said, "I'm not r-ready," Geno tried to reason.
Reaper didn't listen. Reaper started to nibble on Geno's neck, marking his neck. "Hng~" Geno moaned, trying to hold back his pleasure. Reaper moved his hand under Geno shirt and started to touch his chest. "R-Reaper~" Geno breathed out.
"I want everyone else to know that you're mine~ I want to make sure Thistle never tries anything with you because he'll see that mark on your neck, and know it was from me~ I want your body to remember my touches...so you'll be addicted to me~" Reaper told Geno. "I-I'm not ready for this!" Geno said, nervous and panicked, "Just relax...you're in deaths hands~...My hands~" Reaper said. "I-I...please," Geno whimpered.
Geno felt so aroused, but he doesn't want this, it's too quick, this is not how he wanted this to go.
Reaper lifted his head up from Geno and kissed him quickly, "Reaper...I don't want to...we're going too fast," Geno said.
Reaper continued to look at Geno, frowning a little, but Geno frown was much bigger. "Mh~...R-Reaper~" Geno said, placing his hand on Reaper's hand from on top of his shirt.
"Please...stop...for me? Just...please wait?" Geno begged
Reaper stopped touching Geno. "I-...I'm sorry," Reaper said, pulling his hand away, "It was just...the heat of the moment-..." Reaper said.
"It's fine..." Geno said. "...You said you weren't ready...when will you be ready?" Reaper asked, "...I'm not sure...just...when we're more mature in our relationship...okay?" Geno told Reaper.
Reaper nodded and pulled his hand back from under Geno shirt. Geno raised his arms to Reaper, "Cuddles?" Geno asked. Reaper smiled, "Of course..." Reaper smiled as he let Geno embrace him.
Reaper rested his head on Geno's chest as Geno stroked Reaper skull. "...I love you so much," Geno said, "I love you even more," Reaper smiled. Geno chuckled as Reaper got comfortable.
Reaper enjoyed listening to Geno breathing, feeling them hold them, and pet him, it was a nice feeling he could get used to. Reaper face turned to a light blue as he smiled and closed his eyes, going to sleep.
