(Hey guys and gals! How is everyone doing? I hope yall are doing well and staying safe. Its been a tough start to the year but i know we can get over this with no worries if everyone do their part. As for me, I have been called to provide help for my country. It sounds terrible, but i dont mind it since im doing my part to keep my country safe as well as my family that lives here. I hope whichever country my readers comes from, yall are living safely and doing your best to stay healthy. I believe we should be careful, but at the same time, be considerate and respectful to others! Stay safe everyone!)
The next day.
Misomi came to Guardian early in the morning. She greeted Eric and Albert who came even earlier than her to prepare the shop.
Misomi also helped out by sweeping the floor and arranging some furnitures and equipments. She continued doing the same outside of the shop.
As she was peacefully cleaning, there was a group of people coming. Misomi who caught sight of it was about to tell them to leave. Thinking that they were customers. Since it isn't time for the shop to open yet.
But when she realised who they were, she erased such thoughts. At least since she knew one of the person from the group.
"Yuna-San! You're here!" <Misomi>
Misomi greeted her with a smile.
"Hey there, Misomi. I've brought my friends to help out just as I promised." <Yuna>
Behind Yuna were 2 girls. One had a short brown hair with a battleaxe on her back. The other had green twintail hair and holding a wand.
Both greeted Misomi as well.
"Welcome to Guardian! Please follow me, I'll show you around and also go meet with the boss." <Misomi>
As Misomi was about to lead them inside, Shin appeared from above. He dropped down from the ledge above and landed in between Misomi and the group.
"Yo. Yuna, was it? Nice seeing you again." <Shin>
The group, as well as Misomi were surprised at Shin's sudden appearance.
"Shin. How have you been?" <Yuna>
"Great actually. I would say I've done a lot of progress in this kingdom already." <Shin>
"I see... That's good to hear. I've been hearing things about you. Also-" <Yuna>
"Yes. I've heard from someone that you know about something. Why don't we have a private conversation?" <Shin>
Hearing Shin said that, Misomi shuddered. She knew full well what Shin was referring about.
Yuna who saw her, felt a bit guilty making an innocent girl spout such secrets. Though it wasn't her true intentions, she still had planned on trying to gain information.
Not wasting any time, Shin went inside while gesturing Yuna to follow her. But before he left, he pat and rubbed on Misomi's head.
Misomi who got such treatment was stunned as to why Shin did that. When she looked up, she saw Shin smiling at her before he faced away.
"Misomi-San? Are you okay?"
The girl with brown hair asked her.
Misomi was still staring at Shin after he walked off.
"Eh? Ah. Yeah. I'm fine." <Misomi>
Misomi returned.
"Anyways, who is he? Is he your boyfriend?"
"Boyfriend? N-No! He's... He's just my benefactor. But, after what I did, he probably hates me... " <Misomi>
"Ohhh~"
The brown haired girl who caught onto something pleasant suddenly felt excited.
"Are you sure about that? From how he looked at you, I feel like he likes you. Could be my imagination, but he doesn't seem to hate you at all."
"I hope that's the case... I really don't want him to hate me. I do owe him a lot." <Misomi>
Misomi was sullen talking about such things.
"Enough. Let's all get inside, shall we? I'm eager to start our quest."
The girl with green hair finally spoke up.
"Ah, yes! Please come in!" <Misomi>
Misomi quickly put away her broom and led the two girls inside.
...
"So? What would you like to know?" <Shin>
"Straightforward, huh? Well that's good. Lets start with the omnipotent medicine, the Obnova flower. How did you manage to get it?" <Yuna>
"How? Well, I just walked into Kiruos cave and collect them. That's all." <Shin>
"Impossible!" <Yuna>
Yuna stood up and slam the table. She didn't believe that Shin did that. After all, she knew how dangerous the cave is.
"I've tried to collect one myself. And I fully well know that the cave is dangerous and difficult. Even I, an S-Rank adventurer couldn't conquer it. You must have done something. Or someone helped you?" <Yuna>
"If you don't believe me then it's up to you. I've already told the truth. And I'm even allowing you to know such information. Don't you think you should be grateful?" <Shin>
Shin and Yuna stared at each other. Yuna was the one that gave in.
"Fine." <Yuna>
Yuna sat back down.
"Now, I would like to ask if I could buy one from you. Is that possible?" <Yuna>
"Sure, I don't mind. But just to clarify, is it to get rid of your curse?" <Shin>
"Wha-!? How did you know!?" <Yuna>
Yuna was shocked that Shin knew of her circumstances.
"All I can say is that I can tell. So? Is it for that?" <Shin>
"No... Not for me. It's for someone dear to me." <Yuna>
"Oh? Who might that be?" <Shin>
Hearing Shin wanting to know, Yuna looked at Shin. She then took a sec to think if it's fine. In the end she confess since Shin doesn't seem like a bad person.
"It's for a childhood friend of mine. I was told that he was cursed. And because of that, he was banished from his family and was forced to live and survive by himself. However... Ever since he got banished 5 years ago, I haven't seen him." <Yuna>
"Hm?" <Shin>
Hearing her story, Shin found it weird.
This sounds awfully familiar? But if it is...
"Alright. I'll give you one obnova flower. But in return, I would like to know how you got your curse. Though I might know how already. Nonetheless, do tell me." <Shin>
"Yes. Like I said earlier, I went to try and get the Obnova flower myself. So i entered the cave alone. However, when I reached the deepest part, where the obnova flowers grew, I suddenly got attacked by a strong evil presence. That presence was too strong even for more. It attached onto me and it felt like I was being eaten by it. Luckily, I managed to escape using a rare item. Though unfortunately, since then I was cursed. The curse reduces by overall fighting power and capability by half. That's how I got this curse." <Yuna>
"Was it from the Legendary Cursed Sword residing in the cave?" <Shin>
"Ah. So you know about it as well?" <Yuna>
"Know about it? Hah! That sword belongs to me now! Isn't that right, Kagura?" <Shin>
With his words, Kagura transformed into her human form. The sword on Shin's waist started glowing.
"Kuh~ Sorry about that? Though I had no collection of ever seeing you. But I guess the curse is definitely mine. And so, I could remove it from you." <Kagura>
Kagura began pointing her palm at Yuna. After that, black mist emerged from Yuna which then slowly float towards Kagura. Before they got absorbed into her palm.
"Done. The curse should be lifted. How do you feel?" <Kagura>
"I feel great... Amazing!" <Yuna>
Yuna wasn't able to say a word throughout this happening. Shin said something crazy and then something crazy happened followed by her curse being lifted all of a sudden. Only now that she was able to say something.
Yuna finally looked at Shin with a satisfied face.
"I fully trust you now. But, I'm just confused. Who are you? And how strong are you?" <Yuna>
"Master is the strongest! Isn't wielding me, the Legendary Cursed Sword, proof that he's strong?" <Kagura>
Kagura proudly said such things as if it's her achievement.
"I guess so... You're the Legendary Cursed Sword said in legends, huh? It's hard to comprehend it. But I guess, it's nice to meet you?" <Yuna>
"Kahahaha! You're welcome! But, just to let you know. Don't get in my Master's way, okay? If you do, you might not make it to the next day. Gahahaha~" <Kagura>
Kagura is enjoying talking to Yuna.
"Right... I'll do just that." <Yuna>
Yuna was having trouble adjusting to the attitude of Kagura. Seeing the Legendary Cursed Sword acting so childish made her a bit perplexed. Nonetheless, she can't say it out loud.
"Here. The obnova flower you wanted." <Shin>
Shin took out one obnova flower from his storage and placed it on the table.
"Are you sure? How much does it cost?" <Yuna>
"Just take it. I have a lot of it, don't worry." <Shin>
Yuna heard something crazy, again. But she just kept it to herself.
"Thank you." <Yuna>
"No problem. I hope you can find that someone you're looking for, and hopefully help him. Though I think what he's doing now might shock you. Just saying." <Shin>
Shin was amused at such thoughts. He had roughly guess that the person Yuna was looking for is definitely him. Shin can't wait to witness their reunion which could happen very soon.
"Hm? What do you mean?" <Yuna>
"Nothing. Let's go back already. You're here for the request aren't you?" <Shin>
"Oh, right! I forgot. But before that, I would like to ask one more thing. This company, you're the real boss, right?" <Yuna>
At Yuna's question, Shin just smiled at her without saying anything. He just got up and went towards the door.
They both ended their private talk there.
