"So! What did I miss while I was out?" Life asked, with her warm smile like nothing happened. Reaper was still a little shaken, seeing her. He can still see her...on the floor...covered in blood. Reaper pretended like nothing was wrong.
"Well, other than the fact that the world was sort of...collapsing, everything else is fine" Reaper replied. "Well soon the balance will go back to normal, right Reaper?" Life chirped. Reaper gave a weak smile, but then went to a serious expression.
"Tori...I think...you should let the other Gods see you" Reaper said. Life gasped shortly, and stayed quiet. "I think...it's best for me to stay here" Life said. Reaper looked up, "Why not?" Reaper asked. "I'm...still a bit broken...of the path the other fallen children has been through...not to mention that...sorry excuse of a king!" Life scowled at the thought of King Asgore.
"...Look Reaper, I know that I don't really belong in this...'world' per-say, but honestly, I hate every Asgore out there, so it's not just 'him'" Life told Reaper.
Reaper nodded. "Well, even though the people here aren't really your 'people' don't you think you should let them know your okay?...I mean, they think that your there queen, and they think that your dead right now...you could at least give clarity to everyone and show that your alright!" Reaper said.
Life looked to the side and thought about it. "...Is it just the people...not...him?" Life asked. Reaper nodded, "That's all I'm asking anyways, to lazy to sady 'everyone' just people" Reaper said winking, giving Life a finger gun.
Life held in her laughter, but did it terribly. "Oh Reaper~ Your so funny!" Life said. Reaper smiled, "Come on! Let me show you to everyone!" Reaper said. Life hummed and stood up, so did I.
Reaper held his hand out, and Life took his hand, as they teleported to Snowdin. Everyone seemed to be talking about the star, and Life and where she might be.
Once Reaper teleported in the middle of Snowdin, people looked over to who he brought over with him, and saw Life.
Life smiled and awkward smile, till someone screamed and pointed, "IT'S THE QUEEN!" as everyone close by ran over and started asking questions and concerns to Life.
Reaper was territorial over Life and made sure that everyone didn't get too close to Life.
Soon after Papyrus opened the door from Reaper house. "What's all this commotion abou-" Papyrus stopped mid-sentence once he saw Reaper and Life.
"BROTHER!" Papyrus yelled and he ran over and picked up Reaper. Life jumped at the sight of Papyrus. Papyrus swayed side to side roughly hugging Reaper. Reaper just took it, his legs swaying roughly as Papyrus hugged him.
Soon Papyrus dropped Reaper, "Where have you been lazybones? You woke up WAY early then you usually do! Which is saying something!" Papyrus said.
"I found Life paps" Reaper said, Papyrus looked over at Life, giving her an eye brows raise. "Why is King Asgore in a dress acting like Life?" Papyrus asked, Reaper chuckled, "No bro, this IS life" Reaper said.
Papyrus looked back at Life. "A pleasure to meet you Papyrus, your brother has told me a lot about you!" Life said with a smile.
Papyrus keep looking at Life, then back at Reaper, "You sure this isn't King Asgore?" Papyrus asked again. "I'm sure of it" Reaper replied.
"NEAT! I'm gonna tell Undyne! She'll be so excited when she sees a clone of Asgore!" Papyrus said, running off to get Undyne.
Reaper sighed and shook his head, "I'm guessing your brother sees me as Asgore?" Life said. "It's just because you look like a goat, don't take offends to that!" Reaper said, covering his face with his cloak.
Life giggled.
Soon after a while, people from Waterfall, Hotland, and the Core was coming over to Snowdin to see the queen.
Life got used to questions, and answered them to the best of her ability. Reaper stayed by her side and made sure no one got too close, at least the people he didn't know or trust.
Soon Undyne came running in, pushing everyone out of her way just to see her, a pack of wolves from the guard following behind her.
"QUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Undyne yelled a mighty roar. Life jumped at Undyne yell, as she ran like her life depended on it.
Once in front of Life, she quickly took one knee and bowed to her. "My queen! I am sworn to protect you at all cost!" Undyne said looking down. The wolves behind her did the same.
Life looked in suprised and giggled, "Arise, brave ones'" Life said. Undyne and the rest of the guard stood up and saluted her. "My queen! I will make sure that no one will get to close! I will protect you with my life!" Undyne said, as the pack barked once.
Reaper smirked at Undyne, seeing how she's trying to be a show off. "It's fine if you don't want to. It's your choice" Life said. Undyne was confused, her choice?
A tiny monster then got the attention of Life and then started asking questions, as Life answered of them.
Undyne put her arm down, looking in confusion. Reaper nudged Undyne and suggestively raised his eyebrows with his smirk growing. Undyne sighed, "Guard your dismissed!" Undyne said, as the guard scattered in random places.
"Lol!" I said with a giggle.
"Oh be quiet Sans!" Undyne said annoyed.
It wasn't long till I heard 'the metal version of bergentrückung'
"THE QUEEN WHERE IS SHE!?" Asgore roared, Gerson by his side. Life was wide-eye and yelped. Asgore looked over, looking intensely at Life.
"TORI! THEY HAVE FINALLY FOUND YOU!" Asgore yelled, rushing his way over to Life.
Life then picked up her dress and started running away, as the crowd of people kept following her. I stayed where I was and looked as the crowd moved. "You know what-...YOU GOT THIS LIFE!" I yelled at Life giving her a thumbs up.
"I DIDN'T AGREE TO THIS!!" Life yelled as she kept running.
"MY QUEEN WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" Undyne yelled as 'The battle against a true hero theme in a metal version' started playing as well.
I kept staring as the crowd of people got smaller and smaller. Gerson and Papyrus walked over to me. "We gonna stop this?" Gerson asked. "Mmmmhhh...Nah, I've helped enough already" I said. Papyrus gave me a glare.
"Did you know the barriers open?" Gerson asked, "Oh! Really?" I asked, "Yeah, Undyne gave us a soul that she said she found. Said it was the murdered of Life, but while me and Asgore were opening the barrier with the souls, Papyrus came in and told us Life was back, so once the barrier was open, King Asgore ordered Papyrus to show him where she was, and well...here we are!" Gerson said.
"Huh...you know- hey paps? Have you seen Gaster recently?" I asked, "Nope, I didn't see him come home yesterday" Papyrus said.
Gerson looked down, like he knew something. "Gerson, you know where dad is?" I asked, "I'll-...no, it's best if I tell you now..." Gerson said seriously, I got nervous.
"Serious about what?" Papyrus asked, "Well...last I know, was that your father was looking into the mirror of truth, but when I went to check on him...the mirror wasn't there. I could only assume he asked something on the mirror, and payed the price for it..." Gerson said
I looked down, quiet. "N-No" Papyrus chocked, "I'm sorry boys...but I think your father is gone" Gerson said. Tears went down Papyrus eyes as my face stayed dried. I didn't really care for him anyways. He wasn't my real father.
Gerson comforted Papyrus as he cried. I looked to the side, trying to think of something to cheer him up. "Hey, Gerson said the barrier was open, so...why not go check it out paps? With everyone?" I asked, looking back at him.
Papyrus gave me a watery puppy dog eyes. "Y-You mean it?" Papyrus asked sniffing, "Gerson said the barrier is open, so we can see the surface now!" I said, cheering him up.
Papyrus wiped his eyes and smiled, "Y-Yeah! I'd like that!" Papyrus said, I smiled.
Papyrus the started running away towards where Life, Undyne, and Asgore was running, and soon came back running towards us.
Papyrus picked me and Gerson up and started running away with us. Gerson and I could see the whole crowd running towards us. I got more nervous, and Gerson enjoyed the ride, telling Papyrus to go faster.
I felt motion sick.
Life was in the front of it all calling me for help, running for her life, behind her was Asgore calling for Life to stop running, and behind Asgore was Undyne telling Asgore to stop trying to get back with Life, and behind Undyne was everyone else trying to either stop Asgore, help Life, or ask them both questions.
"PAPS PLEASE GO FASTER FOR ASGORE-SAKE!" I yelled afraid of the crowd and well-...me getting trampled of how tiny I am.
Papyrus ran as fast as he could across the whole underground to the castle and to the broken barrier as we all ran out.
We started running down the mountain. I could see all the humans from the mountain. They were watching us run down the mountain, and they seemed to be panicking.
I don't think I could stopped them if I wanted to, so I just enjoyed the ride like Gerson was. Soon I blacked out in Papyrus arms, and awoken to us in the woods, below the leaves on the trees.
I heard mumbling, it sounded weird, sounded like Life and a child that I don't know of talking. I wiped my eyes and opened them, and saw Papyrus face, he noticed me waking up.
"Oh! Sans your finally awake!" Papyrus said, putting me down to my feet. I stretched, "What's happening bro?" I asked, "Oh! A friendly human approached us and told us that they wanted to help us!" Papyrus said.
I looked over into the crowd and saw a tanned human, looked more yellow then skinned colored. They wore clothes like us, and had a flower crown on. They told us that they like to teach others about the importants about 'mercy' and how it's very important for humans.
The monsters seemed to like this human so, I chilled and didn't get in the way of Life and the kids conversation.
"Anyways, I believe we haven't traded names yet. My name is Toriel, but you may call me Life" Life said.
"I am Frisk, the demi-god of Mercy" Frisk. I soon tugged on Papyrus scarf again, as he looked down towards me. "I'd like to go back to sleep now" I told him, "Sans! You just woke up from-"...Papyrus couldn't finish his sentence because I blacked out on him.
The rest I don't remember...but I know we have a bright future soon...
