The Moon knights fought the Sun Empire, and didn't plan to go back to the castle till they had the child.
"Give up Dream! Just give us the child!" Cross said, "N-Never!" Dream said as he pushed Cross knife away with his staff. He turned his staff into an bow as he started to attack us with multiple arrows.
We dodged them, as we started to attack again. I need to get past them, but how? How do we get into the house?...
"Retreat now or I'll make you!" Dream told us, "We're not giving up!" Cross said. That bozo....
"I tried giving you mercy, but you'll just to deal with the consequences of your actions!" Dream said as Ink came over and tried to paint us, I dodged it, while the others got hit with paint, "How did Error dodge it?!" Fell said baffled.
I didn't know what to do, so I pushed Ink on the floor and ran towards the door before anyone can stopped me. "H-HEY! GET BACK HERE!!!" Dream demanded as he ran towards me, I ran upstairs and picked a random door, to see Khole at the door as she tried to kick me.
I caught her leg and twisted it to make her fall, I wrapped her with my strings as Dream came upstairs, I shut the door and locked it so Dream couldn't get in, "What do you plan to accomplish by doing this?! He's a child! Leave him alone!!!" Khole yelled at me, "Shut up! I'm only doing what I was ordered to!" I said as I wrapped Khole mouth with strings so they shut up.
Everything was almost quiet except for the sounds of muffled screams and the sound of the door banging...
There was also quiet whimpering and silent crying?...
I walked over to the closet to see Reaper curled up in a ball, he looked up in fear, "D-Don't hurt me... please...." He said, I sighed, "Please don't be difficult, then I won't hurt you..." I said.
The sound of Khole said 'Don't follow him!' as she begged me to leave Reaper alone. I wrapped Reaper in my strings as I opened a glitch portal to the kingdom as I dragged Reaper with me to the dungeon.
I opened one of the prisons cells and told Reaper to walk in it, he obeyed me as I closed the door and locked him in the cold, stone cell.
"I'll be back to get you...just...stay here..." I said calmly, he nodded as I left to go see Nightmare.
As Error left, Reaper sat in the cell still wrapped in Error strings.
They felt warm and reassuring, it felt like a hug from someone who really cared. The look Error gave, it looked like he cared...he look as if he wanted to reassure me, a small smile was plastered on my face as I sat there, waiting for Error to come back.
When Error walked in the living room, headed to the throne room, he saw his friends on the floor covered in paint. Seems Ink teleported them here, "...I still don't get how Error didn't get hit with paint" Fell said as I chuckled
"Wait, Error did you get the child?!" Cross said worried, "Yeah, he's in the dungeon right now" I said, Cross and the other smiled, "Well that's over! Time to report to Nightmare!" Cross said as the other got up from the ground, "Uh, shouldn't you guys change? Your still covered in paint..." I said, they looked down at they're clothes, "Fine, we can change our clothes, but then we go over to Nightmare straight away!" Cross said as he left.
"Hey Horror!" Killer said, "What?" Horror replied, "You owe me a chocolate bar!" Killer said, "Fine, whatever, but I'm saying you ate his chocolate" Horror said leaving, "Fine by me!" Killer said as he left with Horror as the other left to go change.
I smirked and went over to the kitchen and opened a cabinet. In the cabinet is Cross chocolate, I stole a bar and hid it in my pockets, If he figures out, I'll just blame either Killer or Horror.
I walked downstairs near the dungeon and walked into a room full of cages, usually it's for dangerous animals, like rabid dogs or I don't know a baby dragon? This world a had weird animals and some are really dangerous to our kingdom, so if one was to ever come here, we're supposed to trap it in a cage and either tame it, or make Dream deal with it, as in we throw the animal in Dream face and run away.
I found a cage big enough for Reaper as I pulled it out. It was a medal cage with wheels at the bottom.
I took it out and left the room and went back to the dungeon to see Reaper patiencly waiting for me. I opened the small cage and opened Reaper cell, "Get in here" I said point in the small cage putting the chocolate bar in it. Reaper obeyed and climbed in the small cage and opened the chocolate bar and quickly ate it, as I closed the small door and locked it. I attached one of my strings to one of the bars so I wouldn't be too close to Reaper, I didn't want him to have the chance to kill me so easily.
I pulled the cage out and saw the others waiting for me, "You guys get dressed quickly" I said, "Whatever, let's just deal with Nightmare temper tantrum..." Dust said, "What do you mean?" Cross said as we started to head to the throne room, "You'll understand once we get there" Dust said.
Horror looked tense and Killer looked worried. I just hope Nightmare doesn't hurt me...
As we continue walking Reaper asked, "Who's Nightmare?" He said, "He's the king of negativity, he's the bad balance of positivity which is his brother Dream, to us, he's our boss or king" Cross explained, "What do you guys do?" Reaper asked, "We are the Moon knights, our job is to keep the balance of the kingdom, and do whatever Nightmare says" Cross explained, "Where did you get that big knife from?" Reaper asked again, "This knife is made out of magic, I can summon it and make it disappear anytime I want" Cross said.
"Where did you get those strings from?" Reaper asked me, "It's also magic that I can summon it whenever I want" I replied, "Is Nightmare nice?" Reaper asked, "When he wants to be, he's usually mean and likes to see us suffer because he's a sadist..." I said, "Sadist?" Reaper said in confusion, "It's someone who loves to see others in pain" Horror said, "That's not nice" Reaper said, "Well, that's what he enjoys, nothing we can do about it" Cross said as we arrived near the throne room door.
"Alright, time to be serious, Reaper, don't say anything unless told to, everyone else, no joking around! I don't feel like saving any of you!" Cross said as we all nodded.
As Cross opened the door everyone saw Nightmare, sitting there, waiting for them... expecting them.
As Error pulled the cage, all of the Moon knights stood in a line, with me next to Error.
All of the knights stood straight with emotionless faces as they all said in unison, "We have finished the mission Lord Nightmare!"
I looked at Nightmare, he looked goopy and serious. I felt a strong aura coming from him, it was negative, I felt fear shoot through me as he stood up and spoke with his deep rough voice.
"Seems like it wasn't that hard to get the child huh? You even put him in a cage like the little mistake he is..." Nightmare said with a smirk on his face, I felt horrible.
"Anyways, enough of that, please tell me if Dream is planning something..." Nightmare said. Dream was planning something?
Dust spoke, "When Killer, Horror and I was looking for information, we overheard Dream and Khole talking to each other, Dream said that they were going to use Reaper for war without him knowing, Khole insisted on telling Reaper and giving him a choose to either join us or stay with the Sun Empire, Dream was willing to tell Reaper, but he doesn't want Reaper to have a chose, Dream also was willing to wait when Reaper was older to start the war, if Reaper were to figure this out, Dream would kill Reaper before Reaper could do something about it..." Dust told Nightmare.
Nightmare looked down, angry. One of his tentacle grabbed hold of Dust neck as he was lifted in the air, the others stayed still not wanting to be targets, "Are you sure this is correct?!" Nightmare said, Dust was chocking his words out trying to make Nightmare let go.
Nightmare loosen his grip, "I SAID ARE YOU SURE THIS IS CORRECT?!!?" Nightmare screamed, "Y-yes!" Dust said making Nightmare let go of Dust neck as he fell to the ground gasping for air.
"Did you hear that child? Dream was planning on using you... just so he can kill his own brother...heheheheHHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Nightmare laughed insanely.
Nightmare grabbed the cage I was in and threw me to a wall as I hit the walls of the cage as it tumble in different directions till it stop. Nightmare stomped his way over to me, as I backed up in the cage, "Dream is a threat to you! I should end your miserable life!" Nightmare said which made me start to cry, "Aww...the little five year old going to cry just because some mean words?" Nightmare said teasing me, "Oh grow up!" Nightmare said.
"D-Don't hurt me...DON'T HURT ME!" I screamed, "I won't have to if you know what's best for you" Nightmare said smirking, "...I don't want to be used...I don't want to kill...I don't want to die..." I said crying more, "Then stop your crying and LISTEN TO ME!!!" Nightmare screamed shaking the cage.
I stopped crying as he stoped shaking the cage, "...Run away Reaper...run away from me...Dream...and everyone you know...and don't stop running...you are banished from coming here or seeing Dream...if I find you...or find out that your with Dream...I will kill you personally...without MERCY!!! Do you understand?" Nightmare told me, I nodded, "I said DO YOU UNDERSTAND!!!" Nightmare screamed again, "Yes!" I said out of fear as I nodded frantically.
"Good...Error, drop him off deep in the forest and leave him there at midnight" Nightmare said "Yes sir!" Error said. Nightmare backed away from me and looked at the knights, "Your all dismissed..." Nightmare said as he left.
Error walked over to me and set my cage up straight, "I told you, he's nice when he wants to be..." Error told me, I breathed in fear, I didn't feel safe.
"I'm sorry kid...I really don't want you to be running your whole life but...it has to be this way..." Error said sadly, the others came over, "Well, it's still the afternoon! We have some time together before we have to let Reaper go!" Killer said, "Sure, we can spent some time together" Error said as I smiled a bit.
Tommorow I'll be banished...at least I get to spent some time with my new friends...right?
