Just as expected, almost everyone within the building are staring at them. All that's left to expect is a group of foolish adventurers who will get in their way.
And right on cue, the moment they reached the centre of the room, a group of people approached them. As if they were big shots, the person that seemed to be the leader of the group spoke up.
"Yo kid, I've never seen you here before. Are you new? " <???>
"Yeah? You have a problem? I just came here to register as an adventurer. Could you kindly let me through?" <Shin>
"Oi, Oi... Seriously? If you wanted to register, you didn't have to bring your girlfriends along, do you?" <???>
"They're not my girlfriends. They're my wives." <Shin>
"Gahahahaha! How amusing... Eh?" <???>
As the leader of the group was amused by Shin's statement, he suddenly noticed Iris. Looking at her properly, he suddenly realised that she was an Elf. Because of this, he became excited.
"You lot, surround them." <???>
""Yes, Boss!"" <???>
He instantly issued orders to his party members to surround Shin.
After the four of his members encircled them, the leader asked Shin amusingly.
"Hey kid, that girl over there... She's an elf, isn't she?" <???>
Shin didn't respond. Instead, he glared at him. He knew this would happen, but he didn't expect to still be triggered by it.
Since Shin didn't answer him, the leader continued speaking.
"Say, I'm sure they're not really your wives, right? If you got an elf with you, then they're definitely slaves. If that's the case, could you lend her to me for a while? I've always wanted to know how an elf feels like, you know? If you could get one, then you probably have a way to get another, right? If you won't give us willingly, then..." <???>
As he said that, he began to send the signal to his members to take her. But before he could send the signal, someone else intruded.
"Stronzo, that's enough!" <???>
From the shadows, emerged a woman. She was about as tall as Shin. She wore an outfit that is similar to a kunoichi, with a cover over her mouth. Black hair reaching up to her shoulders.
"Tch! Yuna, huh? Always interfering with my fun..." <Stronzo>
"You call this fun? Picking on newbies? As an S-Ranked Sade, you should be ashamed!" <Yuna>
Yuna voiced out her displeasure.
"Sheesh! Don't know why the guild master still let you stay as an S-Rank after being badly injured. You're no longer at 100% anymore... But fine! I'll back off so that you can keep your pride. Since that's the only thing you have left, hahaha!" <Stronzo>
Stronzo signalled his members to come back. They then made their way to the exit. While walking there, Stronzo spoke to Shin.
"Hey kid, you better hide your so-called wives. If I see them again, they're mine. Ahahaha!" <Stronzo>
He continued laughing all the way until he left the building.
"I apologize for my colleague's rudeness." <Yuna>
Yuna turned to look at Shin.
"Also, could you stop with the bloodlust look already? Though it is little, I could tell that isn't all you can unleash." <Yuna>
Hearing her, Shin did as was told.
"You're quite perceptive aren't you? And by the way... You're a Dark Attribute user, aren't you?" <Shin>
"Yes. I am what you might call a rare existence in this world." <???>
"I see... I would like to ask more, but... I guess we can save it for another time, huh?" <Shin>
"I don't mind. Since you said you're going to register as an adventurer, I will be your senior, then? If that's so, you can look for me if you have any questions. I don't want to waste your time anymore, so I will get going." <Yuna>
Yuna also made her way towards the exit. As she walked past Shin, she quickly whispered to Shin.
"I'm not interested in your relationship with the elf, but it's best if you hide her identity, don't you think? I dislike having the same scene to occur in the future, that's all." <Yuna>
After saying what she needed, she left the building.
"Interesting woman isn't she, Shin?" <Shana>
"True. She's the first person I've seen who can use Dark Attribute in this world." <???>
"fufu, do you want her?" <Shana>
"Hmm... Not right now." <Shin>
"Haha, alright." <Shana>
Now that the earlier commotion has settled, the crowd is no longer interested in them. The group continued their way to the reception desk.
When they arrived at one of the reception desks, they were greeted by one of the receptionist.
"Good evening, Sir. I overheard the earlier commotion, and I'm terribly sorry that such a thing happened. But moving on, you are here to register as an adventurer, am I right?" <Receptionist>
"Yes. I would like to register both my wives here as well." <Shin>
"So they are really your wives, huh? Well then, could you three please give me your Kingdom Passport?" <Receptionist>
As asked, the three handed their Kingdom Passport to the receptionist.
"Now I will begin the registration process. If you would wait, it will take about half an hour to complete the registration. In the meantime, you can have a look around the guild building." <Receptionist>
"Before you go, I would like to know if there is any procedure later on to check our status or something?" <Shin>
"Ah, such a thing is unneeded. Your skills will be decided when you go through a rank up examination. As for your status, since such a thing is considered secret to a person, the guild won't be the ones to record it. Instead, you will do it yourself once you receive the Adventurer Guild's ID card. The method will be taught once you receive it. Now if you would excuse me. "<Receptionist>
The receptionist walked to the back of the counter. As for Shin and co, they decided to look at the board nearby on the wall.
On top of the board was a sign that wrote 'Quests' on it.
"While waiting, let's look at some of the quests. I would want to do one as soon as tomorrow comes. Since we're low on funds." <Shin>
The group slowly looked through all the quests pinned on the board. As they were keenly looking to find some simple quests they can do once they have registered, Iris suddenly noticed one extraordinary quest.
That quest was pinned down using a big pin with a white rose symbol in the middle. The quest paper was also placed in the middle of the board.
"Shin-Sama! This quest..." <Iris>
Making his way to Iris's side, Shin began reading the details of the quest that Iris had alerted.

After reading it, Shin found the quest very fascinating. It was a quest which they had done. Except for the part about the obnova flower isn't included.
Seeing that Shin could benefit from this, he decided to take the quest. He would later ask the receptionist regarding this quest.

"Here are all your Kingdom Passport. Also, these are each of your Adventurer ID Card." <Receptionist>
After about 30 minutes had passed, they were called out by the receptionist. When they reached the reception desk, the receptionist handed them their Kingdom Passports, as well as their adventurer ID cards.
"Now that you have it, please take good care of it. A first-time loss will be a free reissue. Anymore after that cost 1000 Qil." <Receptionist>
"No problem. Now I would like-" <Shin>
"Before you ask anything, I would like to explain to you the Guild Rules, as well as everything about Quests and Adventurer Ranks." <Receptionist>
Before Shin could bring up the quest he just took, the receptionist cut him off.
"Urgh... Okay." <Shin>
"Regarding the Guild Rules, there are 5 of them that you should follow. They are, 1: No fighting within the Guild Building. 2: adventurers are not affiliated with the country, we are an independent organisation, and a neutral party. Unless there's an exception. 3: When there is an emergency regarding the safety of the location of the guild, all present adventurers are required to participate in the defence group. Punishment would be given to those who disobey. 4: Ranking up from C Rank onwards is decided by a Guild Master. 5: Adventurer's who do not take a Quest for more than 3 months will be demoted.
As for Quests, there is a quest board in every adventurer Guild Building. Different kinds of quests will be pinned on the board and anyone can take it, provided they meet the rank requirements. Details are written on it, and any further questions can be asked from any receptionist. Adventurers can only take quests that correspond to their Adventurer Rank and in some cases, a rank higher. There are 4 types of quests, extermination, gathering, protection & service.
Lastly about Ranks. There are 7 Ranks altogether, ranging from F to S. Everyone who just registered will start from rank F. In order to rank up, one will need to achieve 100 points from doing quests. 1 point for completing a quest of the same rank, while 5 points for completing a quest that is a rank higher. 10 points will be deducted for a failed quest. As for ranking up from rank C onwards, it will be decided by any branch Guild Master. The Adventurer will need to be recognized by a Guild Master, and after that will have to go through a Rank up examination.

Hearing every detail regarding being an adventurer from the receptionist, Shin roughly understood most of it. It was just what he expected it to be.
"No questions about what you have already explained. However, I have something I want to ask." <Shin>
Shin handed the quest he took earlier from the board and gave it to the receptionist.
When she read the contents, she was a bit surprised. It was the only unique request out of the others on the board. One person had tried to complete it from this branch but failed miserably. So seeing the guy who just registered show it to her, she was confused.
"What about this quest? If you plan to do it, I'm afraid you can't. You're not-" <Receptionist>
"I think I already complete it." <Shin>
The receptionist was dumbfounded at what Shin just said. Not only her, but the other adventurers who were near them also heard Shin said that.
Realising that they might make a scene again, the receptionist urges Shin to come closer so as to keep their voices down.
"What do you mean by that? Are you trying to cause a commotion again!? How could you have completed the quest when you just registered!?" <Receptionist>
"It's true. The Legendary Cursed Sword that is written on the quest is right on my hips." <Shin>
Shin softly told the receptionist while fiddling with the sword on his hip.
Whether to believe it or not troubles her, but she can't just ignore this issue.
"Please give me a moment. I will have a talk with the guild master." <Receptionist>
"Sure." <Shin>
The receptionist took the quest paper and went to the back of the counter once more. Not long later, she came out.
"I have told the guild master about what you said. Since this quest is of high importance, the guild master would like to see you, is that alright?" <Receptionist>
"Gladly." <Shin>
The receptionist got out of the counter and asked Shin and his group to follow her. They climb up the stairs and went to the big door on the second floor. The receptionist knocked and asked for permission to enter. The person from the other side gave the signal, and they all went in together.
When they entered, they were greeted by an old man.
"So you're the one who spouts such nonsense?" <???>
The old man who has a long white beard said with an annoyed voice.
"Nonsense? Why would I do such a thing?" <Shin>
"If it's not nonsense, then prove it! I am most annoyed with kids who like to act big!" <???>
Shin looked towards the receptionist as if trying to tell her something. Noticing Shin's intention, the old man ordered the receptionist to leave the room.
"Yes, Guild Master." <Receptionist>
When the door closed, Shin issued the orders.
"Kagura." <Shin>
The sword on Shin's hip began to glow. Soon after the figure of the sword slowly changed into that of a human.
"Master." <Kagura>
"Y-You look just like her...!" <Guild Master>
"Hmm? her?" <Shin>
Shin was intrigued at what the guild master murmured.
"Well, I guess it was not nonsense after all. Now that I'm certain of it, there is something you have to do." <Guild Master>
"What is it?" <Shin>
"Regarding the client of the quest, it is the king of La-Viena." <Guild Master>
"The king, huh? Interesting..." <Shin>
"Yes. With that, you will have to report to the king regarding this quest. The rewards will also be up to the king. It will be best if you meet the king as soon as possible." <Guild Master>
"No problem. Make it tomorrow." <Shin>
"Tomorrow? Hmm... I will contact the king later. When I have ascertain the timing, I will send it to your ID card." <Guild Master>
"The ID card had such a feature? Well alright." <Shin>
"Before you leave, I have something to ask." <Guild Master>
"?" <Shin>
"Who are you? And how did you manage to get the Legendary Cursed Sword?" <Guild Master>
Instead of Shin answering, Kagura was the one who spoke.
"Oi, oi... Who Master is, is none of your concern. All you have to know is that he is my Master, and I am his sword. Let's go, Master. I'm starving!" <Kagura>
"Haha, alright, alright. See you around, Guild Master! Or should I say, Simon Crowl." <Shin>
Hearing Shin called out his name, the guild master was stunned. Nobody knows his name within the guild, and only a few knows his identity. Simon was about to question Shin, but before he could do so, Shin already left the room. Alone, he sat back down and began to figure out who Shin is, and how he knows his name.
