The group of people in black suit all unsheathed their swords and began surrounding Shin and his group.
"You 3 just stand behind me and watch, I'll make this quick." <Shin>
"Alright." <Iris>
"Have fun." <Shana>
Both gave different replies, but neither were worried.
As for Kagura, she went and stood beside Shin then hold his hand.
"Hmm?" <Shin>
Surprised that someone held his hand, he looked at who it was.
"It's time for me to be useful, isn't now the right time, Master?" <Kagura>
She looked up at Shin and grinned.
Hearing her said that Iris realised something but she kept it to herself.
"Haha, let's see how good you are." <Shin>
"I won't disappoint you!" <Kagura>
Suddenly Kagura's body started to shine, and it soon turned to light particles. And then her form changes into a sword. The hand Shin was holding became the handle, while her body and legs became the blade.
Seeing that transformation, all the demons surrounding them made a surprised face, even Adolf had such a face.
However Adolf recovered quickly and issued his mens to attack.
"Everyone! Attack them all at once!" <Adolf>
"" Roger! ""
His mens all charged forward with their sword in hand.
Some went for Shin, while others went for the 2 girls behind him.
As the 5 people who were running towards Shana & Iris, someone suddenly appeared in their way. The 5 of them was going to strike that person down but he disappeared as fast he appeared. Suddenly all they could see was the world upside down.
What happened was that they got decapitated and their heads are falling to the ground. Unable to understand what happened, they died swiftly. In that blink of a moment, not even a sound was made by them. Though there was sound of the heads hitting the floor.
"That felt great. The slash felt very clean." <Shin>
"Thank you, Master." <Kagura>
Kagura was happy that Shin complimented her.
Suddenly seeing Shin disappeared in front of them, Shana & Iris was surprised. Then they heard a sound behind them.
Shana turned and saw 5 bodies on the floor, blood spurting from their neck and their heads rolling around them. She also saw Shin, who had disappeared earlier, walking towards her.
Shana just smiled at Shin.
Iris also noticed something going on behind her and was going to turn her head as well, but she got stopped.
Shin who is now standing behind her, tap on her head.
"You don't need to see such a sight." <Shin>
He said it to her.
Iris turned her head back and agreed to him.
Thinking that it might be a gruesome scene, she understood Shin's consideration for her.
Though she comply, she felt angry at herself. She hated that she doesn't have the strength to defend herself nor able to fight.
She looked down while feeling sad.
"Is that really what you all can do? If you all can be easily defeated like that, I am doubting whether you all are really strong? I mean you did say they are roughly 3000 PL, right?" <Shin>
Hearing Shin talking condescendingly towards them, Adolf became frustrated. He glared at Shin with bloodshot eyes.
"I told you, didn't I? I am your opponent. Leave my wives alone. Fight me and you can live a bit longer, or do you prefer dying instantly?" <Shin>
Ignoring Shin's provocation, Adolf instructed his remaining men to continue their charge on him.
The 15 men felt a bit scared to fight him after seeing him easily killing their allies, nonetheless they must fight him since they are soldiers and have prepared to die fighting.
Though they all went for Shin straight, and not his wives. As told by him, they would at least be able to have a fighting chance and not get easily killed.
"Now that's better. Come at me!" <Shin>
With everyone charging towards him, Shin also walked towards them.
He blocked the 2 swords that came slicing down at him, and then swiftly kick their defenceless stomach. Those 2 got thrown far off by that.
With no time to rest, 5 people are now circling Shin. As if judging that he cant escape, they thrust their sword at Shin who was in the middle.
A pierced body was what should have happened. However instead of jumping up and evade, Shin used his dark powers to stop those swords from hitting him. The dark powers coiled around him and hands protude out of them and gripping the blades. With that, the 5 of them were surprised. They tried to pulled back their sword but the dark power holding onto them were too strong, they did not let it go.
"Let go of your swords and retreat!" <??? >
Someone shouted such.
But before the 5 of them could process their next action, Shin took that opportunity to slice their body. Shin held his sword and pierced the immobile men in front of him, after that he did a full 360 and cut the other people.
With their body detached, the sword they all held lost their grip and fell to the ground, along wif their lower and upper body respectively.
5 people died without a chance to even hurt Shin.
"Sir, what should we do? We clearly can't win..." <???>
One of the remaining men claimed.
Only 8 men left standing. After the recent brawl, they had made distance from Shin. They knew that even if all of them were to go together, they stand no chance of hurting him. So they looked towards their leader for a new plan.
"Tsk!" <Adolf>
When put on the spot, Adolf couldn't find anyway to stop Shin. Even if he went in and join the fray, no doubt he will be killed easily.
So the only thing they could do is to retreat. But that is the worst possible thing to do, they had been ordered to obtain the cursed sword at all cost by their Master. Even if they are required to stake their lives for it. However right now the situation is different. The cursed sword has already been obtained by someone, and clearly it is in the hands of a formidable person. Sacrificing his men needlessly is something he hates to do as a leader. If so, the one thing he could do now is to retreat and provide this information to his Master, and maybe prepare a larger army or so to get it.
{No... I still have that trump card..." <Adolf>
He remembered.
As if he read his intentions, Shin exert more strength into his dark powers. In the game, his character has an ability to create a huge enclosed area. It was a skill to form a huge dome around him to trap his opponents. It was a useful skill when one faces an enemy/opponent who always run away if the battle was not in their favour. Though the Cons is that the user too cant escape unless the skill is fully deactivated.
With that said, a black circle formed underneath his feet. It then expanded to an even bigger circle. The area covered was about 100m in radius.
For the current situation, it was a sufficient size. But if he wanted to, he could make it even bigger.
When the circle stopped expanding, the edges starts to grow upward and converging inwards. Soon after the edges all connected up in the air, with Shin in the middle point of the circle.
The skill had completely casted. A giant dome was created with everyone inside it.
The black circle on the floor disappeared, only leaving the dome behind.
"W-What!? What's this!?" <Adolf>
Along with Adolf's confusion, his men are all also confused at what had happened. But they all knew that this was caused by the person in front of them.
"Tch! You don't plan on letting us escape aren't you?" <Adolf>
Shin grinned at his words.
"Of course. Why would I let you go after you all tried to hurt my wives? Though I also wanted to try out my other skills, hehe." <Shin>
The tension among the mens began to grow. After witnessing several times how Shin can easily kill them, they are now scared of him. And those feeling grow even more knowing that they can't escape anymore.
As the leader, Adolf is in a tight situation. There are not much options for them which are safe. They have to either negotiate with Shin for their lives, or kill him to undo the barrier Skill.
The first option is definitely useless. Adolf see no way that Shin would want to negotiate with them, since they have angered him. That's left with the later option. Though that too seems like a delusional hope.
After careful thought, Adolf issued his next order.
"Men, we have no other choice. Let us have our final fight. I shall lead the attack." <Adolf>
Hearing their leader's absurd order. They thought he got crazy, but they understood him. They know that that was the only way, even if it has the littlelest of hope.
""A-Affirmative, Boss!"" <Everyone>
The remaining mens are 8 left, and Adolf.
Not wasting anymore time, Adolf led the charge.
He unsheathed both his swords and ran full-speed at Shin.
Shin just stood and waited for his attack.
As soon as the 2 were close, Adolf swung both his swords down from above. But all it hit was Shin's sword which he used to blocked. Adolf put in a lot of strength to push him down but Shin barely moved.
Realising that it was useless to continue this, he pulled back his sword and began slashing in succession at Shin. He swung endlessly with a barrage of slashes from all angles trying to break through Shin's defense, but all of those attack were easily block by Shin.
Unable to land a single hit on Shin, Adolf began to get frustrated. He was suppose to be a strong demon, even among his people. When he was back in the Demon Country, his strength was considered strong that can be admired. People praised his power. However right now, it was as if all those praises were in vain.
The person in front of him is stopping him as if he was a mere monster.
"Hehe. Do you understand now? It is hopeless. You might have thought you were strong, but in fact you are actually not. Maybe if you go all out now you can at least increase your chance of winning by 1%? Probably lower but it won't matter, does it?" <Shin>
"Screw you Asshole!" <Adolf>
Adolf made a final strike before distancing himself from Shin.
After that, he began to gather magical power in him. The magic then spread throughout his body. His body glow and as it fade, a thick armour could be seen over him.
The armour is coloured fully black, with some spikes popping from the arms.
He still held his 2 swords in hand.
"You made me use this power! Now you shall die!" <Adolf>
"Enlighten me." <Shin>
As soon as he transformed, Adolf dashed towards Shin. This time he was even more faster. Even the aura around him felt more stronger.
Adolf had used one of his trump card, a skill to equip a magic armour made from his own mana. It is a unique skill for talented and strong individual within the Demon Clan.
Those who can use this skill is considered strong and would be recruited to be at least a Liutenant rank in the Demon Army.
With his upgraded strength, Adolf once again swung his 2 swords down on Shin like before.
Since he is stronger now, he should easily slice Shin.
However as soon as they clashed, to his surprise, Shin was able to block him easily just as before. There wasn't even a hint of struggling by Shin. It was as if its a natural block.
"Oh? I could feel a bit more strength now, just a bit though." <Shin>
Shin unamusingly complimented his efforts.
"I-Impossible..." <Adolf>
Adolf was bewildered by his useless strike.
Unconvinced that he can't hurt him, he unleashed a barrage of slashes towards Shin. From all angles he tried to land a hit on him but all was either blocked or parried.
After who knows how many slashes he did, he went down on his knees and gasping for air. That barrage of attack made him tired. He put a lot of strength into those slashes and now his arms are weak and numb. Both of his swords are laying on the ground due to Adolf no longer having any strength to even hold them.
"Looks like you understand our difference now?" <Shin>
Shin use the tip of his sword to push up Adolf's head by the chin, and made eye contact with him.
As they looked at each other, Shin smirked, showing that he is the superior one here. Adolf helplessly looked back.
"Well then, it's time to clean up now, isn't it?" <Shin>
