*After Nat & Alex put Shane to sleep, they went downstairs. Kenzie was rocking Nate in a recliner.*
*Kenzie's P.O.V.*
"Hey there little Prince," said Nat as he walked toward me. "Did he just wake up?"
"Yeah," I said. "I just fed him a few minutes ago. He's really sleepy now."
"Aww," Nat yawned.
"It looks like Nate's not the only one that's sleepy," said Alex.
"That's true," I said. "Nat, if you want, you could take a little nap,-"
"Kenzie, I'm alright," Nat yawned again & sat on the couch. "I'm not sleepy at all."
I nodded my head. "Okay babe," I said.
"So, you guys haven't gotten any sleep huh?" asked Alex.
"We've gotten a little bit, but not much." I said. "I wake up almost every night anyway,"
"Mainly because of Nat?" asked Alex.
"What are you talking about?" asked Nat. "I'm not THAT loud, am I?"
"Nat, when you were living in Mom & Dad's house, the whole apartment could hear you," said Alex.
"Whatever," said Nat.
"It's not because of Nat," I said. "While I was pregnant, I woke up with back pain, hunger, or getting up to go to the bathroom."
"See?" asked Nat. "It's not my fault,"
I put Nate in his little swing. "Do you guys want to watch a movie?" I asked.
"I feel like if I watch a movie, I'll just fall asleep." said Nat.
"So?" I asked. "I don't mind,"
"What if one of the babies wake up?" asked Nat.
"Alex & I could watch them," I said.
"Yeah, Nat," said Alex.
"I already woke Nate up earlier this morning though," said Nat. "I'll try to stay up & watch the movie with you,"
"Alright," I said. "What movie should we watch?"
"How about we let Nat choose the movie?" asked Alex.
"But Alex, you're the guest," said Nat. "Are you sure that you want me to choose the movie?"
"Yeah," said Alex.
Nat nodded. "Kenzie, could you put in Taxi Driver?"
"Of course sweetie," I said putting the movie in the DVD player.
I sat down on the couch next to Nat. I could tell how exhausted he was from taking care of the triplets. About a half an hour into the movie, Nat rested his head on my lap & fell asleep.
"I knew that he would do that," said Alex.
"What else could he do?" I asked. "Both Nat & I haven't gotten any sleep for the past few days, but, I guess it's worth it, taking care of the triplets."
"Yeah," said Alex. "I guess it is,"
*Later that night, at around midnight, the baby monitor went off. Nat got up & went into the babies' room. Jason woke up.*
*Nat's P.O.V.*
"What's wrong Jason?" I asked picking him up. I walked toward the babies' schedule. Jason was hungry. Alex woke up & saw Me in the babies' room with Jason crying over my shoulder. "Could you go make Jason a bottle?"
"Yeah," said Alex.
Alex came back about twenty minutes later. After I fed Jason, I took him back into Kenzie & I's room. Kenzie woke up & rubbed her eyes.
"Nat, what are you doing?" she asked.
"Could Jason sleep in here with us?" I asked. "I think he's scared,"
"Scared of what?" asked Kenzie.
"I don't know," I said.
"Here," said Kenzie as she scootched over in the bed. "He can sleep right here,"
"Okay," I said putting Jason down in the middle of Kenzie & I. "Goodnight son,"
Kenzie turned off the light on the nightstand & we both fell asleep. At about three in the morning, Alex woke Me up looking terrified.
"Nat, I can't find Jason!" said Alex.
"Shh!" I said. "Jason is right here," I took off some of the blanket off of Jason's body. "See?"
Alex sighed. "Thank god!"
"Go back to sleep Alex," I mumbled.
"Alright," said Alex.
Once Alex left, I fell back asleep. I was surprised that Jason slept through the rest of the night even though I snored kind of loud. It wasn't long until I heard the monitor go off again. This time, Kenze got up. Shane was crying. I could tell it was him because his cries sounded more like screams. I assumed that he needed a diaper change. I heard Alex walking up the stairs & inside the babies' room. Minutes later, I heard Kenzie giggling & Alex wasn't happy at all. Kenzie walked into our bedroom & I lifted My head up a little bit.
"What happened?" I asked.
"Shane just pooped on Alex while we were changing his diaper," said Kenzie.
"Wow," I said.
Alex walked into Kenzie & I's room. "Your son just shitted on me!"
"Yeah, I should've warned you about Shane's little "presents"," I said.
Alex shook his head. "Now my Beatles shirt smells like shit,"
"You can use one of my shirts," I said.
"Okay," said Alex. "Thanks bro,"
"No problem," I yawned. "What time is it?"
"I don't know, & I don't care," said Alex.
"It's like three in the morning," said Kenzie. "We should try to get some sleep."
"I'm wide awake now," I said picking up Jason. "I think I'm gonna go downstairs,"
"Okay," said Kenzie.
I carried Jason downstairs & turned on the t.v. Alex was laying down on the couch half asleep. I put Jason in his swing & sat down next to Alex. I was tired. My eyes were gettting heavier by the minute. I looked at Alex. He was finally asleep again. I closed my eyes, but before I could go back to sleep, Alex was snoring like a bear. I shook my head, laid down on the couch with my legs behind his back. & fell back asleep.
