Leo's POV:
I was talking to Dakota when I noticed a kid with black hair walked up to Reyna and said something that caused her eyes to widen. She quickly stood up and tapped a utensil to her glass causing the conversations to stop as they all looked at her.
"I have recently been informed that our Praetor, Percy Jackson, has undertaken a task given by Lady Diana herself" Reyna said and there was a dead silence before shouting matches began
"When will he be back!?" Someone yelled
"Be back? He belongs at Camp Half-Blood!" Luke yelled
"He is our Praetor! He belongs here!" Dakota shouted
The shouting got more intense and I tried to get away when I spotted a blonde skinny kid sneering.
"The Greeks cannot be trusted! Trying to steal our Praetor from us!" the kid shouted and I glared
"The Romans can't be trusted, trying to take our friend from his rightful home!" Luke growled
"His rightful home is here, with the legion!" a girl snarled
"Hey, calm down!" I heard Piper say but no one listened to her
"Quiet!" Jason yelled and everyone was quiet for a second before they started yelling at him
"Traitor!"
"Greek Sympathizer!"
"You're not a real Roman!" Someone yelled before they started throwing things at Jason and the others
That's when I noticed the kid that delivered the news grow into an adult and his eyes flashed with power. He then snapped his fingers and everything that was flying through the air froze in mid-flight.
"ENOUGH!" His voice boomed the command and everyone went silent "Pathetic, you are roman soldiers not five year old toddlers that throw tantrums when they don't get their way!" the man said and the skinny blonde kid stepped forward and pointed at the man
"Who are you? Some Minor god the Greeks brought to try to defend them?" He sneered and the man let out a cold laugh that even made frost appear on the things around him
"Me? I am Chaos, who are you? Wait, don't answer, you are an insignificant speck of dust" Chaos said and everyone bowed except the kid
"I don't believe you, the auguries didn't say anything about the creator visiting us" He scoffed "You're just an imposter who wants respect" He finished
"Really now? So im guessing you think that you can beat a minor god such as myself correct?" He taunted
"Of course, any self-respecting roman worth their salt can defeat a minor god, and I will prove it by challenging you to a duel right here right now" He said and Chaos laughed before snapping his fingers and the area around everyone warped and shifted until we were standing in a flat area
In the center was an array of weapons that ranged from daggers, to spiked maces. The kid's eyes widened as he saw the change in scenery. I looked at Chaos who was smirking at the kid's face.
"Not so confidant now are you Octavian?" He said and Octavian scowled
"This is nothing, just a visual trick" Octavian spat as he walked forward and picked up a gladius and a golden rod that had an eagle on the top
During all of this, everyone was quiet, obviously knowing that if they spoke out of line, they would share the same fate as Octavian. Well, almost everyone. I smirked as I took in a deep breath and faced Chaos.
"KICK HIS ASS CHAOS!!" I Yelled and everyone turned toward me and I smiled widely before letting out a loud whistle as I cheered Chaos on and he smirked at me
"Will do you fiery little imp!" Chaos said but Octavian took this moment to raise the staff and slam it on the ground and shooting a large bolt of lightning at Chaos who was hit in the chest
Chaos just stood there as the large blast hit him but he looked unfazed. He then turned toward Octavian when suddenly a pair of pitch black pair of wings sprouted from Chaos' back as he held out his hands to the side and two black sabers appeared in his hands.
"Reyna, permission to remove your pesky little augur?" Chaos said in a cold voice
"Only if Skyla and I can be together" Reyna called out and Chaos nodded
"Wait, Reyna is Les?" Octavian called out before laughing "That's beautiful, I can use that against you from now on. Is that girl you were sitting next to at the Christmas party your little whore?" Octavian said before everyone looked at Chaos who was glowing with rage
"You dare insult my daughter?" Chaos growled before he shot forward so fast that the ground behind him exploded apart as he raced towards Octavian
Chaos was practically invisible as Octavian seemed frozen in place. Then a second later Chaos appeared a few feet away and flapped his wings slightly and Octavian exploded into thousands upon thousands of pieces. Blood splattered everywhere as Octavian was turned into dust.
"I think he learned his lesson" Chaos spat as he snapped his fingers and Octavian appeared on the ground shaking and holding himself
"P-Please, I-I beg for forgiveness" Octavian muttered and Chaos laughed
"No, you can insult me, you can insult my pride, but the very moment you insult my family, you are beyond forgiveness" Chaos snarled coldly as he walked over after dispelling his weapons and picked Octavian up by the collar of his shirt "You so much as utter a damn word about my daughter and Reyna as slander, or blackmail or any of the sort, and I will have you thrown into the darkest depths of my realm, never to see daylight again, you will be forced to endure pain and suffering, Mental, Physical and Emotional, and you will find no rest, no peace as you wither away into a husk of your former self before you are brought back to full sanity only to relive every experience. Do I make myself clear?" Chaos growled darkly as his eyes pulsed with power "DO I!!!?" He shouted straight into Octavian's ear
"Y-Yes o-of course L-Lord C-Chaos" Octavian stuttered and Chaos threw him to the ground harshly
"You are hereby dishonorably discharged from the legion, you will have your powers of prophecy ripped from you, and you will become mortal. If I so much as hear a complaint out of your damn mouth, I will drag you down to meet your new... best friends" Chaos growled "Now get the fuck out of my sight you pile of filth" He said as he snapped his fingers and the world changed back to the dining hall
Everyone was dead silent as Octavian got up and ran out of the camp as fast as he could. Then everyone turned to Chaos who was still seething.
"Now, I do not want to hear anyone fighting, you are at war with Gaia and therefore you need to work together, I do not care if you are Greek and Roman, you are brothers and sisters" He said and everyone nodded "Hazel, Frank, Annabeth, Luke, Jason, Piper, and Leo, you are the seven demigods that need to follow the second great prophecy and help save the world" Chaos says before rubbing the bridge of his nose "Now, I am going to go and take a nice relaxing shower, but I am always watching, so DON'T make me have to come back here to stop a fight. Got it?" he growled and we all nodded before he opened a portal and walked through before it shut
Everyone was silent, until I started chuckling, causing everyone to look at me.
"What? Rule one, don't insult a man's family" I said and everyone nodded slowly
"Ain't that the truth" Dakota said "And here I thought Percy was the most powerful one here" He finished when a note appeared in the air and floated down onto Dakota's head
He picked it up and read it before paling.
"What does it say Dakota?" Reyna asked
"It says that Percy has gone toe to toe with Chaos and the battle had to end early because of something that came up" He said and everyone went silent
"I believe it" I said and Luke laughed
"Yeah, did you know he clawed his way out of a Drakon's stomach?" Luke said and everyone looked at him "Well, I guess it's story time"
