I still laid there.The time was too short and scrunched together.As I tried to go to sleep again,I heard a knock
"Hazel"I heard Clifford's voice.I held the picture frame to my chest.I rolled into my blanket and didn't respond.Clifford opened the door and I heard him near me.I closed my eyes and he lifted the blanket.I opened my eyes and sat up and off my bed.
"Hey"I said trying to smile.My lips still quivered,tears glossing my eyes
"I need to explain some things to you before you leave"
"Where am I going?"I asked
"No where,just sit down."he said patting beside him.He wrapped his arms around me tightly
"I was worried sick about you."He said into my ear.It wasn't about me anymore.I didn't want the spotlight.I'm the whole reason my father came back to this pack and I am the reason Wilson is gone.
It doesn't feel like it.It feel like he is about to yell 'just kidding bitch' and then ask to spar.
"Okay"He said pulling me from the hug.He stared at me trying to find the right words to say.
"I called in a friend of a friend,and they decided to help us."
"With what?"
"Well.You know how we just returned from Rain Falls"
"Yes"
"I called in a friend to follow you to make sure if you got hurt,you'd be healed and brought back to me "He said.
"But after you reached the border they started heading back.I got word to them that we needed help with Wilson and they tried to come back into time."He said.
"My friend,oh god.He's a pureblood,and he has a special power."he said.Clifford took his hands and grabbed mine.
"He can bring people back from the dead"He said.My eyebrows scrunched in confusion.Why would he tell me this?Was he saying that Wilson can live?I shook my head slowly.
"But only after five minutes ,not a minute more,and they have to be dead."He explained.I stood up and stared to the door that picture frame in my hand.
"He's alive Hazel"He said.I dropped the picture frame
"What?"
"Nick,my friend got here in time."
I don't know what to say.I stared at Clifford and was tempted to kiss him,thats how excited I was.
"And I wouldn't lie to you"He said.I ran out the door and into Wilson's room.
"Where is he?"I said,my lips refusing to form words.
"He's still recovering.Whatever they used is taking a lot longer the heal."

I was settled on letting him live and moon on,but he's broke the boundaries,and I want his head on a silver platter.
"He's in the infirmary."He said.I ran down the stairs with heart reining and my hands shaking out if control.I flew the door open
"Kiddo"His voice was weak and raspy.He tried to lean up but grabbed his stomach and then groaned again
"You aren't suppose to touch the wound"I said.He smiled.I ran towards him and hugged him.He looked sweaty and cold at the same time.He ran the back of his hand across his forehead and wiped the sweat away.
"I thought you were dead"
"I was"
"I am so sorry.It is all my fault.I will make a thousand pancakes to make up for it"
"It's not yo-a thousand?"He smiled
" a thousand"I said.
"Deal"He smiled
"You scared me so much."
"I'm not going to lie.I was afraid,I was so scared,but I couldn't let you see that.You were freaking out already."
"Wilson.."I had to stop and take a deep breath
"You asshole,you made me cry"I said.He smiled
"Finally"He raised his hands up and them groaned in pain.I don't know why but we find each others pain amusing.It brings us a special joy that makes our day that much better

"Stop messing around.That was serious"
"I know,but you aren't curious what I saw"
"What did you see?"
"Something crazy"He said.He tried to lean up
"I don't know if it was because of my near death experience it what,but I got a power"He said.I dropped my jaw
"Are you serious?"
"Yes,two of them"
"Two!"
"Okay watch this"He said rubbing his hands together.
"What do you want from the kitchen right now.Something you know that's there"
"An apple"
"Really?Be more creative"He said.
"A frozen steak"I said.He pressed his palms and opened his hands and there was a frozen steak in his hand.
"You can summon things"
"I know right?"He smiled
"But what does it have to do with what you saw"
"Okay.So don't remember what I saw,but when came back I noticed that I can tell who is a pureblood and who isn't."
"Like Clifford isn't."
"What about Lily"

"I'm sorry kiddo,don't see any summoning in your future"He said ruffling my hair.
"I missed you"I said.
"I know.So how was Rain Falls"

"Why was that easier because I know Dylan.I don't know Misty that much,not at all really.All I know is that she spoke at the funeral too."
"I want to punch you in the face."I said.He smiled and tossed the cold steak at me
"Leave me be,woman"He said.I smiled and hugged him.
"I almost fucking lost you,Wilson "
"I don't remember much but did you loudly scream my name in honor of castaway."
"No..."I said.I did,not as loud,not as dramatic but still just as hurtful.
"Liar"He smirked and I have never been so happy knowing that he was right here

"Okay fine.Would you let me shave your fur"
"Hell no"I said.
"Why"
"I have lost enough if my dignity.I'm not losing my fur"
"Come on,i'll opt it out for a thousand pancakes"
"Nope"I said crossing my arms.
Wilson and so had spent the day together eating popcorn,both of us have responsibilities to our pack,but Wilson's hurt and I'm taking a day off.
"If you dye your fur,my color choice obviously.I will let you cut my hair."I smiled
"Really?"
"Yep.You have to be a bright pink wolf"
"I would get the ladies"He wiggled his eyebrows.I wasn't serious and neither was he,but if we weren't officials we definitely would.In some alternate universe where Wilson and I weren't officails we would rise hell for our fellow pack members,and that one day get in trouble with our new alpha,and bam,Clifford and I still would have met.or maybe I would be the alpha and Clifford would be the omega.That would be a peculiar change,and I can't really go deep into thought about it.
"Can I interrupt"I heard Clifford's voice
"Yes,I can't wait until she shuts up"Wilson sighed.
"Shut up"I punched his arm.He tuned it
"Ahh"He whined
"Why don't you conjure up some ice for your arm?"I teased sticking my tongue out at him.He snatched my tongue to pulled it
"Leh goh oh my tongue"I said whacking him.He let go.
"Take her.I need to rest."Wilson said as If he were some almighty king.
"I'll come by in morning to check up on you"I said.He nodded.
"Hey Hazel"He called
"Yeah"I said turning around
"Can you hand me the remote"
"It's right there on the nightstand!"I objected.He drew a heavy sigh from his lips.I walked right by him picked up the remote and handed it to him
"I would have done it quicker if you said please"
"If you acted nicer I would have just poofed it into my hands"He said making gestures to go along with his words.I spun on my heel making sure to flip my hair in the most sassy way possible.I felt Clifford's eyes in me as I stepped out the room.I knew he wanted to talk,after all this time I could look at Clffs' face and knew I he was ready to talk or not.I knew he had a lot of things he had to say,he wanted to yell me and tell me how stupid I was,but I would'nt care.
