Percy's POV:
I pulled back from the kiss and looked into the loving silver eyes of my Arty.
"I love you Percy" Arty said quietly and I smiled
"I love you too" I responded with absolute conviction "Arty, may I see the blade I gave you a while back?"
Artemis extended her hand out and the other crescent blade appeared and I smiled as I sat up, took my bow off after I turned it into its backpack form. I opened the bag and pulled the bottle of magical water that I grabbed from the volcano.
"Why do you need it?" she asked as she handed the weapon to me
I took the weapon and unscrewed the cap of the bottle. I then lightly poured the water onto the blade making sure I kept some water in the bottle.
Artemis watched in fascination as the bright silver blade was purified. The blade became whiter and cleaner and the power increased.
"That's amazing" she whispered as I heard the front door of her temple open
"ARTEMIS!! Come on! Father wants us in the throne room to get ready" I heard Apollo call and Artemis quickly scrambled off of me and grabbed her crescent blade before willing it back onto her wrist
Apollo walked in and stopped short when he saw me sitting next to Artemis on the couch. His eyes narrowed and I held my hands up in surrender.
"Don't shoot!" I exclaimed and I felt Instinct trying to find a way out of this salutation if things went south "I just came over to give Artemis a new bow, one that was created using Aieon metal" I say smoothly and Apollo looks at Artemis who just showed him the beautiful bow that I had created
"How does that bow beat her other one? Her symbol of power to be exact" Apollo said and Artemis looked at me and I smirked
"Well, Aieon has the ability to respond to the amount of power a person has, thus if you gave an Aieon weapon to a child of Hypnos, it would just be a weapon that is indestructible, however, if you give an Aieon weapon to a major God or Goddess then the metal will adapt to the wielder and become stronger" I explain and I look at Apollo "If you can get us to an open clearing, I can give you a demonstration" Apollo considered this before he nodded
"I'm coming with" Artemis said as she grabbed my hand then put a hand on Apollo's shoulder and Apollo flashed us into a large junk yard
'UGH, not this place again' Instinct groaned in frustration and I snickered aloud
"Yeah, I thought you'd find it funny Perseus" Apollo stated and Artemis tensed slightly obviously trying to not correct him
"So, where's my target?" I asked as I summoned Lunar's Light
"Right there" Apollo said as a large robot easily bigger than the Talos I destroyed months ago
"Apollo! That thing will kill him!" Artemis said nervously but I smirked as I spun Lunar's Light in my hand
The automaton turned toward Artemis' voice and unsheathed a large broad sword. It swung the sword at her and I knew I had to act.
"Let the power of the Hunter aid me" I muttered as I stepped in front of a stunned Artemis and held Lunar's Light up and braced
The large sword connected with Lunar's Light and I forced myself to hold my ground. Dust flew up all around the two immortals and myself and I added a bit of power and the dust was blasted away.
"Perseus... h-how?" Apollo stuttered and I smirked
"I 'aint done yet" I said as I bent my arm slightly then quickly extended it causing the giant to stumble back and I raised Lunar's Light ready to strike
"'Let the power of the hunter aid me'" instinct and I muttered in sync causing the echoing double voice "'Crescent Moon!'" We shouted together and I slashed down creating a pure white silver crescent that launched toward the automaton
The strike traveled clean through the giant and left a large hole in its body before it crumbled to debris. I turned and looked at the twin archers and their jaws dropped as I smirked.
"And that's just a son of Poseidon, Artemis now has the power of Aieon as her main weapon, all you need to do is channel energy into the weapon before you fire it or swing it" I explain and Artemis readies the bow
"Apollo, raise another" Artemis said and suddenly another automaton rises up and brandishes its sword
"Alright, Artemis, draw an arrow, notch it and pull it back" I direct and Arty follows the instructions "Now imagine power flowing through the limbs of the bow and onto the arrow" I finish and suddenly the Aieon bow glows brightly and the arrow has streaks of light on it
As soon as Artemis released the arrow, it gained a silver trail and flew at supersonic speeds until it hit the giant automaton. I watched calmly as the arrow pierced the giant and exploded, the giant flew back and fell apart before it hit the ground. I turned and saw an awe struck look on Artemis' face.
"I think we can do this, with that bow and the guardians helping, Typhon doesn't stand a fucking chance" Apollo exclaimed and I laughed
Suddenly thunder rumbled overhead and Apollo flashed away a look of fear on his face.
"Percy, will you accompany me to this meeting? Please?" Artemis asked and I looked into the silver eyes I loved so much
"Anything for you Arty" I said with a smile "But remember, don't tell anyone, just do what you've always done that way no one suspects anything" I say and Artemis nods but smiles as I take her hand and she flashes us to the throne room
"Artemis, glad you could join us" I heard Zeus thunder and I looked around "Why did you bring this demigod to our meeting daughter?" he said threateningly
"Because, he is the leader of Camp Half Blood, he should know what we are going to do" Artemis says defensively as Dionysus, Shane, Phoenix, and Amber appear
Amber spots me and glowers at me causing me to smirk. She then marched over to me and held out her hand.
"Give me my shield boy, before I tear you limb from limb to get it" Amber threatened and I laughed humorlessly
"And what makes you think you can do that Amber?" I ask coldly
"I am the Guardian of Artemis, therefor I own that shield" Amber replies and I summon it
Amber lunges forward trying to grab onto it but I move out of the way causing her to fall on her face.
"No, it is not your shield" I respond as I look at Phoenix and open my mind to him
'Dude, Artemis is looking at you with warmth in her eyes' Phoenix says and I chuckle silently
'Yeah, I know, I told her who I was after I gifted her a pure Aieon bow' I respond and I notice Phoenix's eyes widen slightly
'Yeah, that's why we were gone for so long, we had to pick up the Wofrium that Chaos threw down onto Earth, then we took a nice road trip across Asia and Europe before we found the old forge' Instinct chimed in and I saw Phoenix nod
"Moving on, Perseus, take a kneel anywhere you wish" Zeus said thinking I would kneel by Hestia at the hearth as Poseidon wasn't present but I surprised everyone except Phoenix as I stepped a few feet closer to Artemis' throne and took a kneel
I saw Shane and Justice raise their eyebrows and I smirked.
"This meeting has been called to realize the threat that Typhon has on Olympus, I ask that everyone present besides Perseus, Phoenix, and Amber ready their chariots, weapons, steads, and anything else that could help in the fight against Typhon" Zeus said as he motioned to Poseidon's empty throne "As you can see, my brother is not present as he is fighting Oceanus, his guardian, Melody is with him and is unable to fight Typhon" Zeus finished and the throne room erupted into chaos as the gods and goddesses started yelling at why Amber and Phoenix weren't fighting
After a few minutes, the other guardians stood up and yelled but their voices were lost in the argument between the divine beings.
'Let's show them how it's done' Instinct said and I smirked as I saw the guardians kneel back down in defeat
I stood up much to their confusion and I pulled my pistol off its holster and pointed to the ceiling where I fired it.
"'SILENCE!'" Instinct and I shouted at once and the throne room instantly became quite
"You are all immortals that are millennia old, stop acting like immature preschoolers and start acting like the Mighty gods and goddesses of Olympus that history has made you all out to be!" I shout and everyone looks at me surprised that I would call the Olympians immature preschoolers
'Dude, nice' Phoenix said mentally and I looked at him and smirked
"Now that I have all your attention, I believe Lady Artemis has a reason for why Poseidon isn't participating in the fight against Typhon" I say as I look back at Arty and wink causing her cheeks to tint a faint pink
"Y-Yes I do, Poseidon is defending his domain, imagine if we lost the seas and the oceans, we would be open to attack on our very front door and the enemies would have an endless supply of reinforcements" Artemis stated and everyone gained wide eyed looks at what she implied "That's why I propose we have Perseus here, along with Phoenix, set up defense around Olympus to protect against an enemy invasion should one occur" She finished and I looked at her
Artemis locked eyes with me and winked and Instinct and I groaned while Delphi laughed hysterically.
'Serves you two right for throwing her under the spot light like that' Delphi said and I rolled my eyes
"That sounds like a solid plan" Athena said and I groaned as Amber stood up and stepped forward
"Hey, what about me? I am the strongest one here, why did you assign two pathetic males to set up defenses?" Amber exclaimed to the council "Obviously being the guardian of Artemis makes me far more qualified than that thief over there" Amber finished as she pointed at me
The throne room went dead silent as everyone looked at Amber, a look of shock on almost everyone's faces. I crossed my arms and waited as Amber's arm fell to her said and she started to wait.
"You dare call my friend a thief?" I heard Shane growl as she stood up
"Yes, I do, he stole my shield from me during the most recent battle, and he has till yet to return it!" Amber declared and both Apollo and Justice stood up
"Stop lying bit..." Justice started but Amber cut her off
"How do you know I'm lying? For all we know you could be lying, trying to get ahead of everyone else that has even a moment of the spotlight" Amber spat and I clenched my fists "You've had your go at being a guardian, but you all are the prototypes, the ones that get replaced as soon as you break down" Amber finished with a smug look on her face
"Amber, shut up" Artemis deadpanned and Amber opened her mouth to respond, "Do you not know the meaning of 'Shut up'? It means, don't talk" Amber closed her mouth and I internally smirked
'Look out!' Instinct said as I noticed Amber's arm sneak to her hunting knife and in a decently fast motion she threw the knife directly at my chest
I heard a scream of horror from Arty and a gasp from the other gods but I simply extended my hand and caught the knife by the hilt. I swung my arm over my head and then threw the knife into the ground where it embedded itself up to the hilt. I turned to Amber a cold look in my eyes that made her shiver.
"Amber, the reason you are not setting up defenses is because you are leading the Hunters" I stated as if she didn't just throw a knife at me "Now, I need to tell the camp that I am safe and then start preparing defenses" I stated as I looked at Arty and smiled
I walked over to Phoenix who stood up and waited until I got next to him.
"Where too first?" He asked and I looked at him then over at Artemis
"My parents place, I need to get special permission if we're going to win this war" I said quietly and I felt Instinct and Delphi nodding as I saw Phoenix sigh
"Make sure you don't die" Phoenix said as he put a hand on my shoulder and we vanished in a flash of flames
We appeared in the middle of the living room of a decent sized apartment causing the two occupants to shriek in terror.
"PERCY!!! YOU CAN'T BE DOING THIS!!!" My mom said and I looked at her to see her eating dinner
"Sorry mom, but I need your permission to do something..." I say quietly
"And what would that be?" She asked and I looked her straight in the eyes
"To take a dip in the Styx River" I responded
