Jade's POV
We grinned brightly at the camera and I don't think anything could wipe off that huge smile off our faces. I held the tiny little thing in my hands carefully, not wanting to risk dropping it or anything, while Perrie was doing just the same but she was holding me instead. I couldn't be happier right now.
Guess what? We bloody got Number 1! We finally have a number 1 album with "Glory Days" and we are now shooting for the winning shot. The girls are kind enough to allow me holding the Number 1 trophy and I couldn't help constantly showing it off to the camera proudly when we were shooting for a thank you video earlier. Gosh I still can't bloody believe we did that and I can't thank our fans enough!
"We are done girls. Thank you for today"
The cameraman from Official Chart smiled at us and went back to look at all the photos he had got. Leigh and Jesy were heading to the dressing room, I was about to follow but I couldn't move because a certain blonde still had a firm grip on me.
"Baby why don't you let me go?" I tilted my head to look at her
"Because I don't want to" She replied with the simplest answer
"You have been holding me for like an hour already" I laughed
"Not enough" She mumbled and rest her head on my shoulder
I don't know why but she had been very clingy and protective the past few days. Not that we weren't before but it had definitely rise to a whole new level lately, it's like she had to makes sure some part of our skins were touching every second. I don't mind I love it actually, but I am really curious of why she had such change. I would love for her to wrap me in her arms forever but it's certainly not the best place to do that now, I could sense some inquisitive glances wondering why we were still here when our jobs were done, and the position we were in definitely boost their curiosity. We better left before looking too intimate and luckily I knew just the way to persuade my blonde.
"Pez baby can we leave now?"
"No Jade baba. I am comfortable" She mumbled in her baby voice. She does that every time she wants something. What a big baby
"But how can I kiss you if we don't?" I pouted
She stared at my lips for a couple good seconds, then lifted her head off my shoulder and finally loosened her grip. She rested an arm on my back and eagerly leading me to the dressing room.
"Finally! Where have you been? Busy fucking each other?" Jesy wiggled her eyebrows.
Normally Perrie would be annoyed by those words and immediately shot back, but instead of doing so, she sat down on the couch, pulling me down next to her, not wasting any time to smash her lips on mine. I hummed contently as I could finally feel those lips, locking my arms around her neck and kissed back.
"Sometimes I hate being right" Jesy scolded.
She made some gagging noise like she always does to distract us, but it didn't stop me from savoring the heavenly taste of Perrie's soft lips, I could kiss her all day. But then I felt my phone buzzing in my pocket, I hate to end the kiss but I had to, I don't want to miss any call that might be important. I let our lips met for a few more seconds, then reluctantly pulled away only to be met by the cutest pout on her face.
"One minute babe. I need to take the call. Then we could kiss as long as you want yeah?" I cooed. She nodded and a huge smile appeared on her face. I grinned and pecked her lips, then pull out my phone to look who was calling.
"It's Simon" I gasped. It kinda freak me out as he rarely call us personally, unless there is something important.
"Put it on speaker Jade" Jesy said.
I hesitantly took the call with my slightly shaky hand and placed my phone on the table, putting it on speaker. Perrie must have noticed my nerve, as her hand was rubbing small circles on my back hoping to calm me.
"Hi Jade"
"Hi Simon"
"Are the girls with you?"
"Yes we are here too Simon"
"Is there anyone else with you? I have something important to tell you girls." I gulped when I heard the word 'important'. My instinct is right.
"No. It's just us four" Leigh replied
"Great. First of all, congratulations to your first UK number 1 album girls. I knew you could do it and I am very very proud of you"
"Thank you Simon"
"No I didn't do anything it's all your hard work girls. I am glad it paid off"
"It still feel like a dream to us" We smiled at each other
"Well it is real start to embrace what you girls should be deserving for a long time. And here comes the big news I wanna tell you girls, especially to you Jade and Perrie."
"Yeah?" I felt kinda uneasy of what the news might be, Perrie must have felt the same as she tightened her grip on my waist.
"Well. I think having a number 1 album is a good enough recognition in your music career" He stopped and I frowned. That's all? We made the album together, why would it matters to me and Perrie more? But then realization hit me and I squealed in exhilaration
"OH MY GOD"
"I don't understand Jade" Perrie looked at me in bewilderment, clearly had no clue. I thought I knew what Simon was trying to say, but I had to confirm it first.
"Does that mean...Perrie and I can finally tell the public that we are dating?" I asked hopefully.
"WHAT?!" Perrie's eyes widened in shock finally catching on
"You are right Jade b-" We screamed at our highest pitch and Perrie immediately engulfed me into a bone-crushing hug, Jesy and Leigh soon joined us.
"No more hiding Jadey" She whispered into my ear and I knew she was getting emotional by hearing the tremble in her voice. I hummed and pecked her cheek.
"I can't believe it! I am so happy for you!" Leigh sniffed. Aw she is crying.
"Aw thank you Lee-Lee" I rubbed her arm
"Fucking finally!" Jesy howled
We continued celebrating and yelling a few more, but got interrupted by Simon's fake cough
"Um...I am not finished girls"
"Sorry"
"You can tell the public anyway you wants girls but unfortunately not now. I am hoping you would wait until the promo is over, which is the start of your winter break about a month away"
It is reasonable to not let our relationship overshadowing our promo, especially when the album is doing so well, and a month is not that long so I am fine with it. I looked at the others especially Perrie for their reaction, and it seems it didn't bother them either.
"We understand Simon. We will wait. Thank you so much for not breaking us up and being so supportive of our relationship, it means a lot to us and we really appreciate that" I said in all honesty.
"No problem Jade. You girls are real talents there is no way I am gonna splitting you up, and there is nothing wrong to love who you love. I wish nothing but the best to you and Perrie"
"Oh my god Simon you are making me cry" Perrie gulped.
I looked at her and tears had already formed in her blue eyes, threatening to come out. My gaze began to get blurry too, Leigh was already crying while Jesy started to get emotional too. That's how we affect each other, when one of us cry, we all cry.
"I hope they are happy tears Perrie"
"They are" Perrie chuckled.
"That's all girls. Go celebrate tonight you all deserved it. I have to go now. Bye"
"Bye Simon"
I ended the call and immediately got tackled by Perrie with her warm embrace.
"I can finally let the world know I have the best girlfriend ever!" She squealed in excitement
"Nope. Cause I have the best girlfriend" I said cheekily. She pulled away with the goofiest grin on her face and started planting my face with kisses, I giggled at her adorable gesture.
"Oh my god you two need to stop being so cute I am gonna pass out!" Leigh screamed and I laughed when she acted getting faint
"I am sure everybody would be if they see how sickeningly in love these lovebirds are" Jesy rolled her eyes but I could see her eyes were sparkling with happiness and she did a terrible job to hide her big smile. We were smiling and hugging each other not wanting to let go, until some rumbling sound suddenly being heard, our heads turned to Perrie knowing for sure it came from her.
"I-I am hungry" She blushed
"When are you not!" Jesy snickered
"So true!" Leigh laughed
"Baba they are mocking me" Perrie pouted at me. I cooed and kissed the pout away
"Enough you two. I am going to take my baby to eat I don't want her starving. You two coming or not?" I can't help but let my sassy and protective side came out when they attacked my Pez
"Sure" Leigh said and I looked at Jesy
"Wow you are the protective one now aren't you?" Jesy smirked. I sent her a glare
"Okay okay. I am coming" She sighed and raised up her arms in surrender. I smiled at my victory and it only got wider when Perrie gave me a peck on the lips
"Love you" She beamed
"Love you more" I pecked her lips
"Love you most" She returned the gesture
"Lov-"
"Hey are we still going to eat?" Jesy cut in and rolled her eyes. I groaned and gave her a nod.
"Let's go" I stood up and took Perrie's hand
We decided to buy some take away and took it back to me and Perrie's apartment for dinner because she was having a serious withdrawal syndrome now. When she is like this, she would be nothing but extremely affectionate and clingy and doesn't give a fuck if we look too intimate even if we are in public, just like what happened earlier on, so it's better to stay in, and she sure loves the idea.
"Jade comes sit on my lap. You are too far away" She pouted and opened her arms widely for me. See?
I got up from the chair which was just few feets away from her and sat on her lap. She grinned and wrapped her arms around my waist, giving me a few peck on the lips.
"I know you two are always like this" Leigh crossed her fingers gesturing on how close we are
"But recently you two are like glue all the time"
"Ask this one. She won't leave me alone" I pointed at my blonde. To be honest, I wanna know the reason behind that too
"You don't like that Jadey?" Perrie frowned and looked at me with sad puppy eyes. Gosh I don't think anyone could resist and say no to those eyes.
"Of course not Pez I love it actually. I just want to know why." I cooed and smoothed her eyebrows with my thumb.
"Er...um...I just want to" She flashed me a smile but I knew her too well to know she was faking it
"You can tell us anything you know that right?" I gave her a concerned look and her smile disappeared. I don't have to look up to know the girls were just as worried as I am
"I-I..It's stupid" She sighed and looked down, shaking her head. I cupped her face to raise her head up, making her look into my eyes.
"It's not if it's bothering you so much. Perrie please tell me" I begged.
"I...I-I had a nightmare a few days ago" She finally spoke up after seconds of hesitation. Why I didn't know that?
"Is it about Jade?" Jesy asked.
"Yeah. I...I was back in school and looking for bathroom. I pushed open the door and s-saw...you" My heart broke when she looked at me with pain and frustration in her blue eyes
"B-Being bullied. Some girls were pushing you around and shouting nasty words to you. I yelled for them to stop and used all my force to push that damn door but....but I...I failed. They kept hurting you and the only thing I could do was to watch you suffer." She gulped when she finished, her grasp on my body was so tight like she wants to protect me from anything in this world.
"Gosh it's terrible" Leigh groaned
"Remember when we joked about Jade being the nerd and Perrie being the badass in school?" Jesy asked and we nodded
"You got upset of not able to protect Jade when she was bullied in school. I think it bothered you too much you ended up having a nightmare about it" She told Perrie.
"I guess so" She mumbled
"Baby it's just a dream" I whispered comforting words into her ear and rubbing small circles at her back, I could feel her tensed body started to loosen up.
"I know but I can't help but feel so...powerless and hopeless...It's like...I wanna help someone but I just can't. I-I don't know why but...I feel like something like this happened before because this awful feeling felt so....weirdly familiar. "
"But this didn't happen for real right? I remember you two saying you didn't know each other until X Factor" Leigh queried
I nodded to confirm her statement. But even though it didn't actually happen in the past, I could still relate to how Perrie was feeling, only for the opposite reasons. I remembered feeling so useless when I was being bullied because I was not strong enough to stand up for myself at that time. I looked forwards to someone that someday he or she would pull me out from this hell but my hope faded when days passed and nothing happened. Then...
I frowned when a flower crown came into mind. Why? It was so colorful and bright which was so conflicting to my dull and horrible past. And I don't know why...but it seems really important to me.
"You okay Jade?"
"Huh?" I snapped out of my thought only to be met by Perrie's concerned gaze
"You look...sad. Is my nightmare bringing back the bad memory? I am sorry I-"
"No. Um...sort of but it's not that. It's just...I think I forgot something important" I frowned
"I-" Perrie was about to say something but got interrupted by Jesy
"Don't let this fucking nightmare get to you Pez"
"It didn't really bother me that much. I just hate how it made me feel that's why I don't want to let this one out of my sight" She brushed her nose on my cheek. I let out a happy giggle as she was being affectionate and it kinda tickled
"So you are never gonna leave me alone aren't you?" I raised my eyebrows at the blonde. It might come out sarcastic but deep down in my heart I want nothing more than that and I would always be grateful of her. She made me realize what happiness and love really is and my wish of having someone to protect me came true the moment I met her.
"Nope. Not even in the shower" She whispered the last part making my cheek turned red
"You perv!" I hit her arm playfully, trying to contain my bashful smile
"It's not like we haven't done that before babe. We took a bath together remember? And we had s-"
"You are not saying that!" I covered her mouth.
"Jade it's okay. We already knew" Jesy wiggled her eyebrows
"W-What? Did you tell them?" I gasped and looked at Perrie in widened eyes, but she shook her head
"No Jade. Remember our room is just next to yours and your bathroom is in between? We heard you that day. Loud and clear" Leigh chortled. Oh my god why isn't it soundproof?!
"It's fine Jade. We heard you moan enough it kinda don't bother us that much now" Jesy smirked. Perrie laughed and I don't think my cheek could get any redder now
"And that costs me 20 pounds" Leigh whined
"Why?" Perrie asked
"Cause we were betting on how you were gonna do to make up to Jade. My guess was buying biscuits while Jesy chose make-up sex"
"I knew them too well they are horny as fuc-" Jesy snickered
"Actually. Jesy you should give Lee-Lee her money back" I interrupted
"Why?! I won!" She protested
"No because I did both" Perrie explained
"GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK YOU BITCH!"
"HELL NO!"
