(Heh Goteem. Nah this is so anyone can put themselves into it.)
As I left my house to get in the car, I realized I had almost forgotten something really important. I ran back inside and grabbed it before getting back into my car and finally heading to see the boys. Since they hired me to help them out with the Merchandise, I had practically grown to fall in love with them, and one in particular.
(Gee I wonder who the fuck that is...)
While driving I heard my phone go off, but luckily I had it connected to the Bluetooth piece in front of me.
????: "Hello?"
Simon: "Hey, just checking to make sure you were still coming today?"
????: "Wouldn't miss it for the world. Everything in order and ready?"
Simon: "Yeah it's all done and planned. Are you sure about This?"
????: "I have never been more sure in my entire life. I know he would never even think of something like this, which just makes it that much better."
I had been planning this for a while now. And tonight would be the only chance I get to do it. I'm so excited but I'm so nervous as well. I never would have thought that right now would be the chance I get. A little spur of the moment but hey what can you do.
Simon: "Alright well when you get here let me or Vik know, JJ and the other boys are out right now. And Josh is recording."
????: "Of course he is. He always is."
Simon: "Well you know him, Anyway we are just setting up the last part now with Harry. Good luck."
????: "Thanks."
I hung up on him and drove the rest of the way in silence, Knowing that he would find it odd that I turned up now. I mean granted I regularly popped in when they told me to take a break from work. I usually just liked to check up on things, but this was different. Josh had no idea, and everyone else had every idea. It was kind of funny to think about to be honest. It was different and hopefully unique. But I was still happy to do something a little different.
????: "Treat it as though you only have one shot. And you can't fuck this up. It's going to be incredible."
I finished the journey and then got myself out, Making my way inside after grabbing my things. And that my little goody bag for Josh was ready to go. He was going to flip but honestly I didn't care. This man does so much for so many people and barely takes time for himself. He deserves this.
????: "Come on."
????: "Dude I'm outside now where are you?"
Vik: "I'm coming now hang on."
I waited for a few moments before noticing Vik come down and see me, the smile on his face was wide and I know exactly what goes down in order for him to smile.
????: "So where is she?"
Vik: "Out with the boys, I had to finish a recording so she tagged along with JJ."
????: "You two are way too cute."
Vik: "Well I like to think so, but you and Josh, I'm pretty sure everyone aspires to be on that level of a relationship."
????: "You are way too kind to me Vik."
Vik: "You have done so much for us, Especially recently since the Merch got an improvement. We can't ever thank you enough."
????: "Help me organize this and you my friend have a deal."
Vik: "Josh is in his room, I think he is about to finish recording. You can head in if you like."
????: "Will do."
Vik: "Has that bag got everything in it?"
????: "Yeah. Are you sure you are fine to edit for him tonight?"
Vik: "I made sure that he woke up early to upload a video, He is ok for today just in case I miss it."
????: "Thanks Vik. You are a life saver."
Vik: "Like I said, we owe you for everything you have done for us."
He smiled at me as I made my way into Josh's room. Making sure that I wasn't in shot as he started his usual ending. I waited a moment before seeing him relax and turn his camera off. He put his head in his hands and run them over his face. As if trying to wake himself from exhaustion.
Josh: "Fuck I'm so tire."
????: "Well hopefully you aren't that tired."
I watched him turn around in an instant and smile. He looked so relieved. He stood up and walked over to me, Pulling me into his embrace a he held me close. Fuck he feels so good, and gives the best damn hugs.
Josh: "I am, So fucking glad to see you."
????: "Not as happy as I am to see you. I want to show you something."
I had been saving up a lot of money, So much so that I was finally able to buy everything needed for this, and I had been saving up for over a year now.
Josh: "What do you mean?"
????: "Sit down on the bed, I want to show you something. But first, I need you to get dressed. And into something nice."
Josh: "I'm sorry?"
????: "Get dressed. Come on Into something really nice."
I thought back on the beautiful dress I had prepared for just such an occasion. It was a beautiful and elegant dress that really made me feel so pretty. And it was a massive hint for Josh on something I had planned. But not something that he would normally think of.
Josh: "Uhh... I need to like edit and get a video up and..."
????: "I've already spoken to Vik, He is going to do all of that for you."
Josh: "Wait no he can't though."
I knew he would be stubborn. He always is."
????: "Josh, Either Vik edits a video. Or you won't get another one up today. The rest of the day has already been planned. Please wear something nice. Preferably a beautiful suit. Maybe even the one you wore to the wedding if it still fits."
Josh: "Still fits? You are so cruel."
????: "You have gotten a bit bigger."
I poked his stomach and caused him to flinch and scowl at me, he faked being hurt and put his hand over his heart. Which I thought was adorable.
????: "You love me too much to even fake being hurt."
Josh: "I do love you too much, but if you say a suit. I'll wear a suit, are you sure about this?"
????: "Absolutely. I'll tell you more when you get ready."
I heard the door open and close downstairs, causing Josh to look at the door funny. He stood up and looked at himself in the mirror before taking off his shirt and reaching into his closet. I stood up and walked downstairs, Almost running into Kayleigh and Lachlan. The two staring at me.
????: "It's time."
Lachlan: "Oh my god, ok Kay you have the dress right?"
Kay: "Yeah, Vik you got Josh ready?"
Vik: "Give me twenty."
Lachlan: "Ok you need to come with us."
Lachlan and Kayleigh grabbed my hands and took me into the room. Lachlan put my bag gently down on the ground while Kayleigh got me to half strip immediately.
Lachlan: "This is going to be incredible. God I hope I can do this with Harry one day."
Kayleigh: "Maybe when you do you can turn up shirtless in speedo's wearing one of those cork screw hats and say fuck it let's grab a beer."
Lachlan: "Id that is how you see Australians... I'm impressed."
????: "Guys come on."
Kayleigh: "Oh hold your horses this won't take long. Surprisingly anyway."
I watched as she pulled out my beautiful blue Kimono dress I had. It was a dead give away for Josh and yet he would have no idea.
After ten minutes of putting it on and making sure it looked good. Lachlan walked over to me and just marveled.
Lachlan: "You look beautiful, just one more thing."
I felt a bit taken aback when he sat me down and then started to play with my hair, but he said he knew what he was doing so he got to work. Never would have though Lachlan of all people would be good at this. When it was done I noticed it had been placed into one large bun on the top of my head with two hair sticks going through them. It felt funny, but it was also really comfortable.
Lachlan: "Ok. Done."
He let me stand up and turn around, looking in Vik's mirror. My hair looked incredible and I looked like a Japanese Empress.
????: "This looks stunning."
Kayleigh: "You look incredible."
????: "Thank you so much."
Lachlan: "Anything to help out a friend."
I gave them both a light hug before Kay helped me with some light make up, Lachlan having left to check up on the others.
Kayleigh: "Are you ready for this?"
????: "Not really. But I'm also so excited that I can barely contain myself."
Kayleigh: "This is going to be incredible. I promise. Make sure you have the voucher ready for the restaurant."
????: "I've already called them and let them know we will be coming."
Kayleigh: "And afterwards?"
????: "It leaves 12 hours after we finish dinner. Are you sure he will want to go? Especially since I gave him no notice?"
Kayleigh: "We took care of that. When you said you wanted to take him to Japan, we made sure the boys had him record a tonne of videos. I am pretty sure he has about thirty videos pre recorded, he would just need to edit."
????: "I can't wait."
Kayleigh: "No one can, alright good to go."
I turned around and took in the look. Extremely happy with the final outcome as Kayleigh smiled at me.
Kayleigh: "You look incredible."
????: "Thank you so much."
We both walked out of the room and saw Josh standing in the hall way fidgeting, but as soon as he saw me his mouth literally opened a little. I couldn't help but giggle a bit as he looked genuinely speechless.
Harry: "Holy fuck you look so good. And who knew Lachlan was good with hair."
Simon: "Should have gotten him to fix JJ's excuse of a head."
JJ: "Oi fuck off. But no you look beautiful."
????: "Thanks guys. So Josh... are you ready?"
He simply nodded his head, he moved over to me slowly before leaning in and lightly kissing me, his arm slowly and gently resting on my back. As he pulled away Ai couldn't help but smile.
Josh: "Holy fuck, I am not worthy at all."
????: "You are definitely worthy, believe me."
Josh: "You look incredible."
????: "Thanks."
I looked so happy, I'm sure I did. He made me smile so wide and so happy every single day, that I swear I was never going to be good enough for him. Yet here we are.
Vik: "Alright Josh, you get to relax while she drives."
Josh: "She won't drive, I won't let her ruin such a beautiful dress."
????: "Oh please, he is just trying to be a gentlemen."
Josh: "Is it working?"
????: "Always."
He linked his arm in mine as we waved everyone off. I grabbed my hand bag and had since placed the essential stuff in their, like the tickets, Voucher etc. as we walked down towards the car, I couldn't help but laugh at myself.
Josh: "What's so funny?"
????: "Look at me. I'm about to take you to a fancy restaurant dressed like I just walked out of Tekken."
Josh: "Please don't ever fight me. I would like to live."
????: "I would never fight you. I love you Josh."
Josh: "I love you too. Alright, let's get this on the road."
Time Skip
As we were seated at the restaurant and had just ordered a drink. It was funny to see him trying to be respectful. Granted we aren't usually like this. It was funny to see him try.
????: "Are you ok Josh."
Josh: "Yeah, I'm just nervous, I just feel like I am out of place."
????: "Try not to think about it."
Josh: "It's a little hard."
????: "I know. I'm sticking out like a sore thumb, but knowing you are here with me makes it all that much better. I love you so much and I wish you really knew how much I would do for you."
Josh: "Good, because I would die for you. There is no denying it."
????: "Oh, Vik told me you have been powering videos lately?"
Josh: "Yeah I have like 30 or so set up that just need to be edited. The boys have been kicking my ass this whole time. It is killing me, I feel like editing them all and just taking a break for two weeks or so."
????: "Oh man, How coincidental."
Josh: "I knew you had something to do with it."
????: "When did you figure that out?"
Josh: "When you turned up and told me to get ready, that Vik would get my videos edited. What else is going on?"
????: "Well if everything goes well. You won't have to edit a single one."
Josh: "If all goes well?"
I looked into the bag I had and had to decide carefully, how do I want to do this?"
????: "Well."
I reached in and pulled out the two tickets, handing them to him slowly.
????: "I wonder if perhaps you would like to take some time off with me?"
He took the tickets gently and was skeptical to say the least. As he read it his eyes widened as he looked up at me.
Josh: "We are going to Japan?"
????: "If all goes well. We have to be ready as the plane leaves in twelve hours."
Josh: "Holy shit. How long have you been planning this for?"
????: "A while."
I looked at him smiling as it looked like he was about to cry. I couldn't help myself but cry a little. As we sat there in silence, the waitress had brought us our main meals and we had started eating. It was delicious and I could barely believe that working for a group of Youtubers would lead me to be able to go to Japan. As we finally finished our main meal. I knew we still had dessert to come and this night was just getting started.
Josh: "There is more isn't there?"
I simply nodded, realizing what was happening. This had been years in the making, and tonight was finally the time it could be done.
Josh: "What else could there be?"
I looked over at the waitress and she knew, she knew what to do. I had been planning all of it.
????: "I love you so much, but I was wondering. I know you would have never done this yourself. So I thought I'd say fuck tradition. And I was wondering something."
I reached into my bag and pulled out a box, just as the lady brought over a chocolate mousse for Josh.
????: "I was wondering if perhaps you were willing to get your hands dirty."
I got down on my knee. Knowing full well it would be strange for him or for anyone to see a woman proposing to a man, normally it was the other way around but right now. I needed to do this.
Josh: "Are you?"
????: "I'm not doing this alone, never again, I love you so much. But I'm not asking for myself..."
Josh: "What..? Get my hands dirty?"
I watched him look at me skeptical again, it was like it was perfectly stuck on his face. He looked so beautiful as he picked up a spoon and looked at the mousse ahead of him, the cup was large enough to hide it from him. He dug in and I felt the moment he hit it. Something hiding inside the dessert. He looked at me with wide eyes, I opened the box and showed him the beautiful platinum ring, I had this one specially made for him with his name, so even if he said no, I would still gladly let him have the ring. He gasped before he put the spoon down for a second before he reached in with his fingers and grabbed hold of the hiding object. He lifted it up and placed it onto the napkin in front of him. He picked up mine as well and started to clean it.
Josh: "it's hard and soft. What is it?"
I smiled at him, knowing hard for years we had tried. And now.
Josh: "Oh my god? Are you serious?"
I nodded my head, he cleaned it off and examined the blue pacifier in his hand, tears streaming down his face as he could barely form a coherent sentence. He just looked at me crying his eyes out.
????: "Please Josh, Will you marry me? And give this baby a father?"
Josh: "Fuck."
He quickly put the pacifier down and cleaned his hands off completely. He tried to get up but he broke down and fell to his knees in front of me. Tears streaming down both of our faces. He looked over at me and reached out, pulling me close to him as he cried on my shoulder.
Josh: "I love you so much, I could never do this I'm sorry. I love you so much, please don't ever leave us."
????: "Is that a yes, To the baby, to me?"
Josh: "Yes, Holy fuck Kaila yes. I love you so much."
Yes I just did that. I'm not tagging her because it would give it away. I wanted to do a ???? So that anyone could put themselves into it, but at the end I wanted to give the character a name for reasons. of course the baby makes it hard for a man but still.
