Caitlin's POV
As we heard David tell us what happened, we were stunned at first but we knew we had to spring into action, I grabbed my keys and barely answered the girls, before I was already out the door and heading to my car.
Caitlin: "I don't have all day, we need to get there and make sure he is alright. Or at least make sure that Harry is ok."
Kaila: "I understand that but you also need to understand that we don't know which hospital they are at, not without David."
Princess: "So we wait, we go back inside and we wait. It's the least we can do considers we don't know."
Caitlin: "Fine, I'm just worried about them is all."
Liz: "We all are hun, but he was hit head on. He might be in surgery for a while."
As Liz grabbed my hand, we headed back towards the apartment. After walking through the unlocked door, I looked around to see everyone looking so upset and broken, I don't doubt them. After what we just heard, god knows how we all feel.
Simon: "Do we know which hospital they are at?"
David: "No, he didn't tell me, he was too busy freaking out and crying and he was almost screaming."
Vik: "He's in shock."
Lachlan: "He's in shock? Mate he just got hit head on by another car, I would think being in shock or shaken up would be a given."
Preston: "Lachlan relax, as far as we know there is nothing to worry about. The doctors are going to do all that they can, we have no say in this."
Jerome: "We might not have a say or be able to do anything to help, but I'll be damned if I'm staying here for this. Guys how many hospitals are there in the general area?"
Before anyone could answer, Josh's phone started to ring.
Josh: "Harry's mum."
JJ: "Answer it. Ask if she knows where he is."
Josh answered the phone as I walked out of the lounge room and into the kitchen, pouring myself a glass of water. I could barely hear Josh talking to Harry's mum, trying to calm her down and keep her level headed before getting information from her. After I downed the water like an alcoholic at Happy hour. I walked back in to see Simon and Ethan getting ready.
Caitlin: "We have a location?"
Josh: "Thank you. And don't worry I promise I will look after him as soon as we get there."
Simon: "They are ten minutes away."
JJ: "SideMen split up and grab some cars. You guys can just pick someone to tag along with, though I assume you four girls will be riding together, and where ever Rob goes David goes."
Rob: "You ok?"
David: "Well on the bright side, If shit goes down I finally get the PS4 That I've always wanted."
Rob: "Bit soon don't you think?"
David: "Just trying to handle it in my own way."
Kaila: "Come ladies let's go. We will follow you Simon."
Simon: "You girls going to be ok?"
Caitlin: "We will be fine, I'll see you guys there."
Time Skip
As we all arrive at the hospital, a large group of almost 15 people, it was rather funny seeing people turn and look at us all, though once we saw Harry crying in the corner, his legs to his chest. We slowly made our way over to him, though Josh had other ideas. Sprinting to stay beside him and hold him.
Josh: "Hey we are all here now, He's going to be fine."
Harry: "Josh you didn't... you didn't see him. He was, I couldn't."
I heard him sob heavily before whimpering a little, his frail body racking with every sob.
JJ: "Hey Harry we are all here, Josh here had to assure your mum you were ok before she almost left the house in a rush to get over here."
Harry: "She hates me, she hates Michael. Everyone does."
Caitlin: "Honey please, we love you and Michael to the ends of the earth. We have known you for years now, and we have loved every single moment. I promise you that we won't rest until Michael is safe and at least out of surgery."
Kaila: "He won't give up, I promise he will fight it at every moment, we all know that he wouldn't be able to ache made it this far without you. Without you bringing him out of his shell and showing him what love is."
Liz: "To be honest, none of us thought he would fall for you, he has spent so long in darkness and silence. Everything he did on camera was a farce, hence why he never left the house."
David: "Liz is right. I would often have to literally pick him up and hold his hand every where we went. We thought he was just really depressed and anxious but it was something more, it wasn't until you started coming over and seeing him that we started to notice a change in him, fuck the first day you two went on a date. He came out of his room and we talked about his clothing choice for hours before you came to pick him up. That wasn't even the best part. The day after he woke up and actually woke me up, wanting to make a video with me, we laughed so hard afterwards and when all of the girls came over we went out to lunch and he willingly joined us. You must have made a really good impression on him to help him out of his shell."
Princess: "Harry you know we all love you so much, but he literally changed with you. Every single day you guys would talk and he would tell us what you were up to, which videos you were planning, what your family was like, how the boys were, he was always so happy. And when you asked him to be your boyfriend no, I don't think I had ever seen him lose his smile since that day, since that day he has done nothing but want to go out and have fun, record vlogs as well which we thought was a huge step and it kicked us off the ground with our channel. Without you, he was so upset, and you turned him around and made him so happy."
JJ: "Girls we noticed it on his side as well. When he first met Michael for a video, I remember he sent Harry a video, how to fake being happy for others so they would let him die in peace. And I think that was what made Bog want to run to him."
Josh: "When he found out you all lived in London, he tried feverishly to ask Michael out and I remember he came crying to me one day because he didn't know how to do it. He was so happy and wanted to talk to Michael every day. We even changed his skype pass word for a couple of days so he would record. He wasn't happy with us and ended up getting into my account and adding Michael there instead. We just let him go."
Ethan: "Oi remember when he took I'm out for the first time, Oh my days it was hilarious, he actually turned up on Tobi's doorstep with a bag of clothes in nothing but his boxers because he didn't know what to wear and the Cal boys were, and I quote, "Fucking hopeless."
Tobi: "I remember that, it was like clock work after that, every Thursday they would meet up for dinner or go out for lunch and enjoy each other's company. And every day he came back because he was so upset that he couldn't see him again for a week."
Harry: "That's why I asked him about where he lived. I remember because it was the first time we kissed."
Time Rewind (I don't know what to do for looking in the past so I thought I'd use rewind instead of skip)
Harry's POV
Harry: "Michael you know, I really enjoy the time we spend together each week. But I wanted to ask you something and I know it's going to sound stupid but I want you to know that I can't lie to you."
Michael: "Haha it's ok Harry, I'm sure whatever you say is from your heart."
Harry: "I love you Michael, so fucking much, and I can't stand the week that we can't see each other. Every day I wake up and beg and wish and hope that it's Thursday so I can meet up with you and hold your hand, hold you close to me and feel your heart beat through your chest as I keep you close to mine, even the height difference makes me giggle every time I need to be with you. Resting my head in your own as you cuddle into me, I want to do it more often, I want to see you every day and I want to just talk to you at every waking moment, I know it's impossible, we both do YouTube and it get's hard but Damn it Michael if I don't think of you every fucking day. I just... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that, you probably don't even feel the same way."
Michael: "HARRY!"
Harry: "What?"
Michael: "Harry baby I've been trying to get your attention. Harry every day we spend together is like when the first flowers bloom in spring, or the sun after a rainy day, Or even the first drink after a Football video. The feeling of butterflies in my stomach when you hold my hand, the rush of heat I get when you hold me, and even the intense fear and anxiety I get when you keep holding my hand in a public place. It's that fear that turns to adrenaline, and I ride that high for as long as I can through the week until I go back to my normal self. You might not realize it but you help me so much each and every day, you make me feel so happy and I'm not use to that. Harry when I sent you that video, I planned it all out. I planned to go to the roof after everyone had gone to sleep and just end it. And I'm glad I didn't, not only did you keep talking to me, but you also recorded the video on the roof with your mates. What I'm trying to say is I love you too. And I miss every day between Thursday as well. It makes me feel so good when you hold me, I feel safe and protected and you make me feel so good inside. It's a feeling that feels like electricity running through me, my heart beating faster, the heat causing me to sweat a little. I love you Harry, and I don't know if 9 months is too early or not long enough or maybe it's too late to decide, but I know I need to get to know you more, more in depth to what we see in your videos, more in depth to what you tell me when we talk."
Harry: "Michael I need to see you please."
Michael: "Harry, I'm three floors down from you, exactly the same position as you. I know because of the photos that you post of you looking out, or the vlogs where you show outside. My friend and I noticed it was identical to what we see, she actually went looking and found you leaving your room, she walked past ad waved before going into my friend Princess's place."
Harry: "Do you guys actually Call her Princess?"
Michael: "No one knows her real name, honestly I don't think she has one. She was adopted at birth and her parents just called her princess as she grew up, even though they meant it in a loving way, she just took on the name, so I don't know what her birth name even is."
Harry: "I'm sure she is lovely."
I got off my chair and opened Skype on my phone, making sure to keep replying to him as I got changed and told the boys I wouldn't be coming home. As I left my home, I wandered down the empty corridors, knowing full well that no one left their homes at 2 am. It was so late I could have heard a pin drop on the carpet from seven floors down.
Harry: "Do you know how beautiful you are? Every day I wake up and have to remind myself that the most beautiful and loving, caring and selfless guy is interested in me. And I love him in return, every day I get to see you I tell people that I'm doing something important so I don't have time to stop for photo's. it's so I get to spend all of my time with you."
Michael: "Except for that one guy who didn't take no for an answer."
Harry: "He did after he shove you to the ground, I could have killed him for even touching you the wrong way, I know he left after I picked you up faster than you fell."
Michael: "Pretty sure it's the same person that keeps sending me all the hate emails. And leaving horrible comments on our videos. It's so hard to ignore it when it's so consistent. Every video we upload, I almost hope he comments, otherwise it would be weird."
I kept the conversation rolling as I traced my steps to my front door, only this time I was three floors down. I walked over to the door and took in a deep breath. I wasn't even sure if I could do this. But I didn't have a choice, I raised my hand and knocked three times.
????: "I got it Michael, it might be Kaila."
Michael: "Thanks David."
Hearing his voice, just those two simple words. Made me feel butterflies in my stomach, made me feel sick with love. And the longing I had to just hold him in my arms. As The man opened the door, he looked at me with a perplexed look before he stepped out and kept his foot in the door.
????: "Look Harry I don't know how you found out where he lives. But you need to be careful, for your own sake as well."
Harry: "I'll show you the messages he sent me, I promise I didn't stalk him or ask for any help, I just needed to see I'm. I feel like once a week isn't enough,and when he told me he was three floors down in the same position, I would feel like shit if I didn't come over."
????: "Look Michael is a sensitive person, and yeah he has been happier since he met you, but I don't care if your the pope. I won't let you see him until you tell me exactly what you intend to do with him. Because if your going to just throw him away like a toy when your finished using him for whatever reason. Then I demand you leave to corridor and you don't ever think of stepping on this floor again."
Harry: "David I have known him for nine months now, we have been going out every Thursday on what I call a date every thursday for the past three months, I love him so much. The feeling I get when he talks, when he holds me, when I hold his hand and even just when he is near by, it makes me feel so hot inside, all the butterflies in my stomach turn into dragons fighting to get out. I know your loyal and protective of him, I know he has gone through some hard times, but I promise you that I want to help him, I want to hold him every day and tell him that he will be ok. I want to ask him to be my boyfriend, and one day I'm going to take him out for dinner at a really nice restaurant, afterwards I want to take him to a movie, and then walk back home through a shopping center and buy him any game he wants, and when we get back, I'm going to get on one knee. And I'm going to ask him to marry me, whether you guys like me or not, I will marry him, and I will give him the best damn life he could ever want or need. He deserves everything in this world, and while I might not be able to give him the world. I can give him the best that I can."
I watched him as he looked at me, his face scrunching up before he smiles at me. He put his hand on my shoulder and tightened his grip slightly.
????: "My name's David. Don't think that just because your Michael's boyfriend that I won't use you if I have to."
Harry: "If you let me in to see him, I'll do anything you want."
David: "Anything I want huh?"
Harry: "You have no idea how badly I need to see him."
David: "Organize a time for the sidemen to go out for dinner with the Independents. I know the girls would love to meet the boys, and it would be a nice setting for you two to let everyone know about what's going on."
Harry: "That's not a personal request? David I said anything."
David: "Mate the person I want to see the most, I couldn't get help from you. I need Vik to see Rob."
I couldn't help but smile at him as he opened the door to the unit. It looked so much cleaner than ours. David led me through and took me to his door, he walked away and left me there as I knocked once. I heard Michael's foot steps before he opened the door, I noticed his whole body stiffen and freeze, his mouth dropping in shock. I couldn't help but feel so emotional and scared. What if I frightened him? What if he wasn't expecting me to turn up?
Michael: "It's not..."
Harry: "I couldn't wait. I needed to see you, I needed to hold you in my arms, I needed know that you were ok. And I needed to do this."
I leaned down slowly towards him, though I know he wanted this as well as he pushed himself up onto his toes. Leaning in to kiss him, feeling his lips on mine, I lifted my arms and wrapped them around him. Holding him close to me as I felt tears building in my eyes. I was so scared but I needed this so badly. After a w moments, he pulled away from me and just rest his head on my chest. I just kissed him, the man I loved and I couldn't possibly feel any better than I am right now. One million subscribers had nothing on this.
Harry: "I just."
Michael: "Please don't go."
Harry: "What?"
Michael: "Don't ever leave me, please don't leave."
Harry: "Oh baby, Michael I promise you that I won't ever leave you."
Back To The Present
Harry's POV
I sat there, crying over reminiscing on the memories I spent with him, waking up every day to see his beautiful face beside me.
Rob: "You didn't even directly ask for me?"
David: "That would be selfish, yeah I feel bad but I told Vik of my intentions and he just helped me out. Never told me you were a fan of the channel."
Rob: "We didn't get time to talk."
Harry: "The reason we took so long, is because I wanted to take him back to the park quickly where we first met properly. I wanted to propose to him there and then, I couldn't wait until I took him out properly. I needed to ask him and I needed to know, and it was because I got so selfish that now he is in there. And I can't do anything to see him."
JJ: "Mate this was not your fault, you wanted to marry him. I'm sure that if in this situation, he would have lived it over just to see you so happy if he knew. We all know how much he loves you."
Lachlan: "You two were practically married anyway."
Kaila: "Lachlan has a point, we often caught him referring to you as his husband more so than his boyfriend. I thought it was really cute."
As the doors to triage opened, we saw a doctor walking out.
Doc: "For Michael."
The group of us all walked over to him, I'm sure he felt a little intimidated.
Doc: "Uh... closest family?"
Harry: "He has no family here, But I'm his boy... Feyoncè, or Tried to be."
David: "I live with him so we are the closest he has, can you let us through please."
Doc: "Can I speak to you both in private please?"
I followed the doctor through the doors and into the office he had, he looked at us but I couldn't tell what he was thinking.
Doc: "I have good news and I have some bad news."
Princess's POV
After the two boys walked through, following the doctor. The rest of us decided to just rest and wait, sitting over in the chairs that we had claimed not so long ago. Simon and a few of the others, including Kaila and Liz walked outside to get some fresh air. I don't blame them to be honest.
JJ: "Hey, are you ok?"
Princess: "Not really. He's one of my best friends JJ. If something happens to him, I swear to god."
JJ: "I will be there every day if I have to. I don't care what time or what day, I will come running if you need someone to hold onto."
Princess: "And what about David? Rob isn't going to be here forever."
JJ: "I'm sure someone would be able to help him. I'd be more than happy to put my hand up myself."
Princess: "You really are loyal to your friends aren't you?"
JJ: "My fiends are the family I got to choose. If anything happened to them, I'd kill the person responsible."
Princess: "The person who hit Harry and Michael?"
JJ: "I would assume the police would already have them in custody, if I saw them, I'd knock them the fuck out. But I know I would never be able to do it. I wouldn't let myself steep that low."
Princess: "Your a beautiful young man JJ."
JJ: "And your a beautiful young woman."
After ten minutes of sitting and chatting between each other. The doors opened and we saw Harry and David walking out. Harry needing to be held up by David and they both looked so upset. As if they had been crying the whole time. As they got closer, Josh ran forward and picked up Harry, holding him tight.
Princess: "Please no."
David: "Uh, We have good news. And we have bad news."
Time Skip 1 year
As I stepped outside of my house, A year now since I told him how I felt. I couldn't help but feel so happy, walking with Liz linked in my arms, Kaila beside us and Caitlin linked with her, the four girls going shopping for a weeding dress for me, and bridesmaids dresses for the girls.
Caitlin: "I can't believe we are doing this right now."
Liz: "I can't believe he asked you after all this time, and the wedding isn't even for a few months."
Kaila: "God I wish Michael and David were here."
I thought back on the two boys and hoped they were happy where they were. We missed them both immensely but with Rob being in Canada with Rob now, looking after their little girl. It was more than understandable that he couldn't make it. It was lucky I still had my girls, otherwise I would be in tears.
Liz: "Girl don't cry, I'm sure they would love to see you right now."
Kaila: "And besides, today is about you. So what are we doing first?"
Princess: "Well first, don't hate me but the SideMen don't know yet. So we are all going out for lunch and meeting with the boys to tell them."
As Liz took the front seat, I couldn't help but play with the ring on my finger. I knew JJ loved me but I could never stop thinking about it. Harry would have definitely helped him with this one. And I'm surprised he managed to tear himself away, since the accident he hasn't been himself. He was never free and we understand that. But even the selfless need time to themselves.
Kaila: "Ok so where are we going?"
Caitlin: "Just hang a left here, Simon just told me they were hanging down around the corner here."
It really wasn't that far away and I was kind of happy that it was close. The restaurant was a postal favorite to all of us, and with how much history it had for Harry, I'm surprised he was here.
Liz: "Are you nervous?"
Princess: "Me?"
Kaila: "What did he say when he asked you? Did he say "Will you marry me?" Because that's tradition."
Princess: "No but you can wait."
As we found a parking spot on the other side of the road, we headed over all together. Me hiding my finger in Liz's arm as she held on tight. As soon as I saw JJ I went running, jumping into his arms as he caught me, spinning me in the air before letting my feet gently touch the ground.
JJ: "Good morning my love."
Princess: "Good morning love how are you feeling?"
JJ: "I'm nervous as fuck. Harry knows and he has kept it secret."
Princess: "Are you ready?"
JJ: "I think so."
The two of us led the boys and the girls to a large table that we had requested before arriving. We noticed Kaila standing next to Harry, talking between each other while Harry laughed at something she said. Josh keeping his distance.
Princess: "Baby how come Josh is keeping his distance from Harry?"
JJ: "Didn't Harry tell you? A few weeks go Josh walked in on him on Skype with Lachlan about something. Josh had apparently walked over and ended the call before he spun Harry around and kissed him, held it there for a few seconds but Harry punched him and pushed him away. He screamed at him and told him to fuck off. It was uh... it was eventful."
Princess: "The love he has for Michael would be too much for him to even think of another guy."
Harry: "Hey guys?"
As we all sat down, I noticed that Harry was still standing.
Harry: "If you all want to let me know what you would like to eat, I can let the chef know."
Ethan: "Harry sit down, you do so much for everyone that you can't physically do something for yourself. Sit down and let the waitress take the order. It will be fine."
Harry: "It's ok, I'm not feeling too hungry at the moment anyway."
I noticed he had lost a little bit of weight and the muscle he once had was no longer there. He was just thin now, no real mass to him, it reminded me of Simon and Lachlan. All bone no muscle. After a few minutes of Ethan trying to convince Harry to sit down and enjoy himself. He gave up and eventually we all told him our orders. He smiled to himself and I watched a tear fall from his eyes.
JJ: "Did you tell them all?"
Harry: "Yeah, I told them. They are happy for you."
JJ: "Good you go back there and let them know. You deserve something special for everything you have done."
Harry: "JJ, you are the best friend I could ever ask for."
Simon: "Words."
Harry: "Sorry. JJ you are the most incredible friend I have and I couldn't possibly find anyone better to call a brother."
I watched him smile and walk off. I had never seen him so happy before but I clicked in to what he said.
Princess: "Wait hang on, so then what? Everyone knows?"
Vik: "About the marriage yeah. It was cute the way he asked you."
Kaila: "WHAT!"
Liz: "Dude she never told us."
Tobi: "It was cliche but along the lines of you might be a princess but I want you to be my Queen."
Caitlin: "Oh JJ that's fucking adorable. Cringe as fuck but adorable none the less."
Princess: "Wait so then why are we spending lunch all together then? Because I thought we were telling the boys about us."
I heard the sound of tyres running along the ground before looking over to see Harry, standing behind and pushing Michael in a wheel chair.
Michael: "Hey. I missed you guys."
