Bom’s POV

There was a loud rustle around my ear, and a loud beeping sound. I groaned and turned my back to the sound and stuffed my face into my pillow.

                “Bom?”

There a voice shouting from the side.

                “Bom…?”

This time it was louder and more forceful.

                “BOM!”

“I’m up, I’m up!” I growled and fiercely flung the blankets away from me. There was a bright shine of light from the windows and I saw Hyori’s tall figure beside me.

“Ah! The light is blinding!” I moaned.

“Get used to it! It’s already day. We have to leave soon!” Hyori shouted, “Get packing.”

I looked at the clock that said 7:00 am, and glanced back at her. She was already fully changed and her face was clean, telling me that she just washed it.

“Do you ever sleep?” I groaned and allowed my eyelids to close again.

“Do you ever wake up?” Hyori snorted and shook me up, making me open my eyes again.

“Come on!” she urged me; “we have an hour, get ready!”

“Why are you so eager to go home?” I yawned as, “I have nothing to do back home. Neither do you.”

“Don’t assume things,” Hyori frowned, “didn’t I tell you I’m going to a tennis camp after this?”

                “No…” I burrowed my eyebrows, “you didn’t.”

“Yes, I did,” she stared at me, “remember? Over my email, I asked if you want to join with me and you said no.”

                “Oh…” I muttered, “I forgot. I can’t think straight in the morning.”

“Whatever,” she scoffed, “I’m going to start packing, and you go and wash.”

“Yeah…” I stepped out of my bed slowly. It felt weird to be going back home after our own little vacation. It was such a short trip, but so many things happened in between. It was the best summer vacation I ever had.

Gin’s POV

There was the loud alarm from my cell phone, which I put onto rock music. Me and Jung-woo woke up and washed in silence. We promised to meet at the lobby at 8 o’clock. I didn’t have to start packing because I was going to lounge around in the hotel for another week or so. Jung-woo’s parents didn’t mind, so I got this room, all for myself.

We lounged around the room, watched television, did our cell phone for an hour then decided to be early and go down to the lobby. Around five minutes before eight, we decided to go down.

“Should I knock on the door?” Jung-woo asked as we paused in front of their room.

I shrugged, “they might be still packing.”

“I’ll-

“Bom, come on, we’re going to be late!” the door flung open with a loud shout from Hyori. The door narrowly missed Jung-woo’s nose, as he approached the door to knock on it.

“Oh!” Hyori sounded surprised, “you guys are still here?”

“Hey,” we greeted her, “is Bom ready yet?”

“I’m ready!” a voice called from the back and Bom emerged with her bag.

“Great,” I beamed, “we can all go down together.”

“You’re lucky you’re staying for another week,” Bom groaned, “I hate packing up.”

“You don’t like getting prepared in general,” I pointed out, “or waking up.”

“I think you’re getting lazier every day,” Jung-woo grinned.

                Bom yawned loudly.

“I’m just not a morning person.”

Jung’s POV

We walked down to the lobby together; Bom wasn’t that talkative, seeing it was the morning. In contrast, Gin was bursting with random things to talk about starting from the topic of breakfast.

“So, I was thinking…I’m getting sick of this hotel food. So maybe I’ll go out and get some food at…I don’t know, Burger king?” Gin voiced his thoughts.

“You really love Burger King don’t you?” Hyori frowned. Her face was showing a sort of disbelief, as if she couldn’t imagine why someone would want to eat a greasy burger in the morning.

“I love Burger king!” Gin smiled, “it’s the best fast food restaurant ever!”

“But…” Hyori argued, “it’s not something you should eat in the morning! I mean breakfast is for healthy food, like apples or…cereal.”

“You sound like my mom,” Gin groaned, “telling me to eat this and that.”

“Eat like that and one day you’ll get really fat,” Bom put it simply.

“You’re pretty cynical in the morning,” Gin pointed out, “you know that?”

“I’m not,” she narrowed her eyes.

“She’s like that in the morning,” Hyori completely agreed, “especially if you forcefully wake her up. You should see your glares in the morning, if looks can kill…”

“I’m sleeping in the car,” Bom grunted. I just grinned.

“Is your mom coming to pick you up?” I asked Hyori.

                “Uh yeah,” Hyori nodded.

“I would hate to wake up in the morning and drive all the way here,” Bom said as if she was trying to understand something mysterious, “your mom’s really nice.”

“She’s a morning person, like me,” Hyori answered, “just because you don’t wake up early in the morning doesn’t mean everyone else that does is weird.”

“Isn’t that your mom’s car?” Gin pointed at the driveway outside the clear doors.

“Oh, yeah!” Hyori shouted, she waved at her mom.

“Guess we have to go then,” Bom smiled.

“Yeah…” Gin sighed, “we should meet up again.”

“Gin, you’re going to Las Vegas for the rest of the summer,” I sighed, “don’t start making promises you can’t even keep.”

                Gin laughed nervously.

Hyori’s POV

We waved good bye to Gin and Jung-woo. Jung-woo nervously smiled and told Bom that he would call her. Bom seemed slightly cheered up after that. I was glad her morning mood was beginning to fade away.

My mom got out of the car and opened the trunk so we can put our bags in.

“Good morning Mrs. Park,” Bom greeted my mom happily.

“Good morning!” my mom also replied cheerfully.

We got in the car and drove back. And Bom being true to her words fell asleep.
