Summer's POV

We had dinner on the beach and Nicole bought cake for me to celebrate my birthday. It was late by the time we headed home. I felt my head get heavy as we drove.

The next thing I knew was myself being carried by strong, muscled arms. "I should go home," I groaned keeping my eyes closed as I was so tired.

"No sweetheart, you can stay here, I'll take you into work tomorrow."

"Okay," I sighed against his rock hard chest.

I was quickly placed on a comfortable bed and I snuggled into it. I didn't want to open my eyes because of how everything felt. The bed moved next to me, a brush of a body settled next to me and sighed.

Slowly I opened my eyes to see Harry's bare back facing me, it was gorgeous with his tattoos staining his body, and I just wanted to kiss each one of them. My favourite was the passage in the centre of his back, I saw it early a fell in love with it, the words held so much meaning and beauty, I wanted to know what it meant to him.

As I traced his back lightly with the tips of my fingers I read the words:

'Remember those who you've lost,

Remember those who you've loved,

Remember those who have broken your heart,

Remember those who you've never met,

Remember those who have changed your life,

Remember those who will be your future.'

"My sister wrote them," Harry startled me, I thought that he was asleep, I guess not now.

"I didn't know you had a sister."

"I didn't for a while, but I found out when I was ten that I had a sister and a brother."

"Oh, what happened?" I asked.

"My brother ran away when he was sixteen, I was seven or so at the time and my sister died when she was ten." This shocked me deeply, he had gone through a lot at such a young age. I felt a tear dip down my face, I was crying for him.

"I'm so sorry," I told him truly meaning it. "How old was she when she died?"

"She was ten, she had cancer for a year before she died. I found the poem in her room a few years ago and it hit me deeply. Her poem was the first tattoo I ever got. My brother has the exact same one. I just wished I'd knew her."

"I can understand that," I said wrapping an arm around him.

"I was jealous of my family at one point because they had a chance to really know her, so I went off the rails a bit."

"What did you do?" asked him, even though I already knew.

"Distracted myself with girls, football and parties. It's no wonder why Will was born when I was eighteen, I had a different girl every week. I hate myself for it."

"Oh," I sighed. "You shouldn't hate yourself, out of everything you've done you've got an amazing little boy, and a family who really love you. You should be so happy."

"I am now. I'm glad I met you Summer."

"I'm glad I met you too Harry," I smiled closing my eyes.

The next morning I woke with my head on Harry's chest, alongside my head was another much smaller face. I smiled, I wanted to wake like this every morning.

Will was lying on top of Harry, his arms splayed out over him and one hand on my shoulder. He looked so cute. I leant over and kissed Will's forehead, he didn't move. I then moved over to Harry and did the same, he didn't move either. Like father, like son, I thought.

I watched them as they slept. Soon enough Will was opening his eyes, he looked straight at me and smiled. "Mommy," he rolled over to me, he wrapped his arms tightly around my neck and kissed my cheek.

"Hello Baby," I kissed his cheek back. "Did you sleep well?"

"Yes Mommy but I missed you."

"Why did you miss me?" I asked.

"Cos you were in Daddy's bed and not mine," he told me in his cute little voice.

"Is that why you are in Daddy's bed?" he nodded. "Okay Baby, why don't you wake up Daddy and we can go have breakfast."

"Okay," he whispered. He turned around to face Harry who was still asleep surprisingly. He climbed onto Harry's naked chest and bounced up and down. "Daddy! Wake up!" he shouted.

Harry groaned and opened his eyes. He grabbed hold of Will and tickled him, Will laughed loudly in reaction. "Morning Will, morning Summer," he smiled at me.

"Morning Harry," I smiled back at him. "Thank you for yesterday. It was one of the best days of my life."

"It's my pleasure Sum. I had fun too, I didn't have to worry about the bar or about Will because he was there and having fun with you. I haven't felt like that in four years."

"Daddy, I'm hungry," Will moaned slapping Harry on the chest.

"Well we'd better get you something to eat then shouldn't we?"

"Yay!" Will exclaimed happily. He climbed off Harry and run out of the room. We were left alone with each other. After Harry climbed out of bed I followed him. Harry pulled me in close and gave me a tight hug that had me wrapping my arms around his beautifully sculptured chest. He kissed me on the hair before letting me go.

Harry headed downstairs first. I took a breath and followed him down. In the kitchen, Will was sit-ting in his chair next to Harry's mom. "Morning," I sighed at her.

"Morning Summer. I didn't know you stayed the night."

"Yeah I did, I fell asleep on the way home so Harry let me crash in his room."

"Oh okay, I would have been fine with it if you two were doing the tango, so you don't have to lie to me."

"I'm not lying to you, Julie, we weren't doing the tango," I told her truthfully as I blushed a bright red. I would never have sex in her house, especially with her in the house.

"I was teasing Summer. I know you two weren't doing the tango, I saw you both come in as I had to help get Will to bed." I turned even redder.

"Sum, grab a bowl," Harry told me pointing to the cabinet above my head. I reached up, grabbed several bowls from the cupboard and handed them to him. "Thank you baby," he kissed my cheek.

He poured out breakfast cereal for all of us and placed the bowls in front of us. As I ate away at my breakfast I thought to myself, this was how I imagined my life would be if I had my own family. I would wake up next to my husband and even my little son, and then go down to breakfast together and talk about our plans or whatever. My husband then would take our son to school or to his mother's house for the day and then drop me off at work before he had to go himself. That would have been my perfect life but things just don't turn out that way, sadly.

We left Will with Julie and headed off to work together. I was wearing some of Julie's clothes because I hadn't planned on staying another night at Harry's, thankfully for me Julie was the same size as me and had great taste in clothes.

When we arrived at work, Harry kissed my forehead and headed into his office. I went back to the changing rooms, fortunately I had a spare uniform in my locker which I could change into.

By the time I headed back out to the front of the diner Mary, the thirty year old co-worker of mine had arrived and set up the front desk.

"Hello Summer."

"Hi Mary, did you have a good weekend?"

"Yes it was very good, my daughter just learnt to walk and it was amazing," she told me excitedly.

"I bet it was," I said sadly.

"So how was your weekend?"

"It was really good, I went to the beach with a friend," I smiled remembering this weekend.

"I take it was a guy, this friend?" she asked me seriously. I nodded lightly as I smiled. "It's nice to see you happy with a guy Summer."

I laughed. "I'm not with him, he's just a friend, plus he has a son and I was with my friend Nicole."

"Oh," she giggled. "I sure this guy will become more than a friend at some point. Just be careful Summer."

"I will be Mary, he's a good guy."

"That's what they all say," she muttered.

"But it's the truth with him. I've known him four years."

"Fine then. Just be sensible, I don't want to see you pregnant at your age." I looked down at the floor when she said that, I couldn't reply to what she said, there was nothing to say.

"Let's get to work," I said opening the front door.
