Mia's POV
As soon as Magnus stepped up on stage, I kind of slid down in my chair. Even with Vincent's hand on my shoulder, I still felt really nervous. I hated having attention on me and this was no exception.
"Hello everyone. My name is Magnus Bane and I will be singing Uptown Funk. I chose this song because it's a fun song and I think, with a little prompting, Mia have the potential to be a really fun person. Happy birthday, Mia."
I smiled at him and mouthed "thank you." He smiled back and pointed to Izzy who started the music. The lyrics appeared on the television screen next to Magnus, but he never once looked at them throughout his whole performance. When he finished, everyone stood up and gave him a standing ovation. He bowed and walked over to stand next to Alec. Izzy took the microphone from him and walked back onto the stage.
"Alright, that was a great way to start off this wonderful night. Next up, we have Jace."
I looked over and saw Jace smile at me before he made his way to center stage, taking the mic Izzy held out for him. "Hello everyone. For my performance, I will be singing If You Left Him For Me. I picked this song because...well, I guess it's in the title. Happy birthday, Mia...and I hope you enjoy."
I looked up at Jace and shook my head when he looked back at me. He just flashed me what I've come to see as his signature smirk before motioning to Izzy. The lyrics appeared on the screen and the music started playing, but Jace kept his eyes on me throughout the whole song.

By the end of the song, Jace had made his way to stand in front of me. When he finished, he took my hand and kissed it before walking back to where Izzy was standing. He winked at me before going to stand on the other side of Alec. I felt Vincent tighten his grip on my shoulder and I looked up at him.
"Don't go getting all jealous on me again."
He just looked down at me with a serious look on his face. I playfully shoved him with my shoulder and saw a slight smile start to form on his face.
I love you and only you, you know that, right? I thought to him.
I know. I just don't like it when other guys openly flirt with you.
He wasn't flirting with me.
Come on. He sang a song called 'If You Left Him For Me' and he dedicated it to you.
Okay, okay. I see your point. Can we just talk about this later? I don't want to ruin Izzy's whole evening.
Okay, but we will talk about it.
I sighed and looked back towards Izzy. I love Vincent, but I was beginning to realize just how jealous he could get. I'm going to have to talk to Jace, too. He needs to know that I'm with Vincent now, I thought to myself as I took a deep breath and smiled at the huge smile on Izzy's face.
"Okay. Thank you, Jace. Now, the girls, as in Clary, Tessa, Robyn, and I have planned a little song and dance routine. We hope that you enjoy it. We will be preforming Salute. I chose this song because it has a theme of women power in it and I hope that the five of us will become strong women."
"All of you are already strong women," I said, earning a big smile from her.
"So are you," she said, coming over to give me a quick hug.
As Clary, Tessa, and Robyn made their way to the stage, Izzy went over and stood next to the speakers. When the other three were ready, she started the song and went to stand in her place.

I will admit I was dancing in my seat a little bit throughout the song. The dance routine was amazing and I couldn't believe that they had put it together in such a short period of time. I stood up when they finished and clapped and whistled as hard and loud as everyone else. After the girls took a bow and all but Izzy left the stage, Izzy took a deep breath.
"Thank you very much. We are glad you liked it. Now, the next performance is from someone very close to Miss. Mia. In fact, he is standing next to her right now. It's your turn, Vincent."
I looked over at Vincent and he smiled as he made his way to stand next to Iz. He smiled at her and took the microphone as she came to take Vincent's place by my side. Let's see what he has in store for me, I thought to myself as I prepared myself for this whatever could happen.
