"Y/n," breathed Fred looking at me with his hands on his knees
My mind was racing at a million miles per hour, trying to process the fact that my parents had survived the war and were now standing beside me. And then, there he was, the love of my life, father of my children, panting from his desperate run towards me. His chest heaved with exertion as he tried to catch his breath, his hair damp with sweat and sticking to his forehead. The emotions crashing through me were overwhelming - relief, joy, disbelief - all mixed together in a turbulent storm within my heart. It was almost too much to handle, but I knew in that moment that everything would be alright because we were all together again.
The skin around his eyes from what I am guessing the lack of sleep he got. He walked towards me slowly as I backed away pinching my arm. Nope not Sleeping
"Y/n," he said with tears in his eyes as he was a foot away
I needed to touch him to make sure he was really right infront of me. I placed my hand on his cheek feeling the warmth coming off. He leaned into my hand with his eyes closed kissing my wrist as his hand went onto mine.
The electricity between our touch was palpable, as if we were both afraid that this moment would slip away if we let go.
In complete disbelief, I whispered, "I can't believe you're actually here." Tears streamed down my cheeks as I embraced him, trying to hold on tight.
He hugged me back, not wanting to let go. "I'm here, my love," he whispered, sending shivers down my spine.
As I pulled back to look at him, I couldn't help but ask, "But how?"
"Thats long story," my dad replied.
"Hold on," said Fred turned my head and kissed me softly yet passionately. Everyone cheered loudly as he dipped me down holding my leg. He placed me back up and a hand on my stomach. I immediately felt the triplets moving slightly,"So your really..." he trailed off.
I nodded,"Yeah,"
"Wow no hug for us," laughed Lee beside George
I pulled him into a hug along with Alicia,"Hey guys,"
"You alright sis?" asked Lee cupping my cheeks
"Yeah," I nodded
"How about we get to the burrow to explain everything," said Mr.Weasley as I hugged George and he messed up my hair
"First I gotta use the restroom," I said chuckling wiping my eyes
"One of the babies on your bladder?" asked Mrs.Weasley laughing. I nodded,"Fred was always on my bladder,"
Fred held me close the whole time. I quickly used the restroom before walking out.
"Alright lets go," said Father
I grabbed Freds hand who immediatly pulled me close to him. His scent filled the air as Leanne and Katie went on my other side. I noticed a rock on Katies hand and immediatly grabbed it gasping.
"I know," she giggled loudly
"We are all four engaged!" said Leanne pointing at her, Katie, me and Alicia
"You do realize what this means," said Alicia
"Dress shopping together?" I chuckled
"Yup," nodded Alicia smiling
"Wheres your ring?" asked Katie
I took the necklace with my rings on it from under my sweater,"Right here,"
Fred squeezed my hand as we started using Floo Powder to get to the burrow. I used it feeling myself twist and turn before landing in the burrow. The smell of cinnimon, fresh baked goods and cleaning supplies.
I walked the table leaning on it slightly as everyone sat around the living room. Harry leaned next to me,"How are you feeling right now?" he asked quietly
"Really confused," I told him as I looked around at all the items moving around. I truly missed being here and the confort of home I felt.
He nodded as I spoke to everyone,"So explain to me how you three are alive. I saw your body on the ground not breathing," I pointed at Fred,"You clearly dead,"I added before pointing to Father,"I thought you wouldn't make it and we all thought you were burned to death,"I pointed to Dad
"Y/n come sit," said Dad pointing next to Fred on a couch.
"No explain to me," I said firmly crossing my arms
Dad took a deep breathe before beginning to explain.
FlashBack/Sirius Pov
As I ran past Y/n and Ginny, their shouts blending into the chorus of chaos around us, I couldn't help but laugh with Fred about blowing up one of the corridors filled with death eaters. His wild grin mirrored my own as we weaved through spells and explosions, our movements fluid and coordinated like a well-rehearsed dance.
"Careful, you two!" called Y/n, her voice tinged with amusement as she fought alongside us, her eyes darting back and forth between her opponents and our reckless antics.
"Always am!" Fred shouted back, his arms swinging wildly to throw an explosive at a group of Death Eaters advancing towards us.
But our carefree banter was cut short as we were suddenly met by Fenrir Greyback, the savage werewolf who had attacked my husband when he was just a child...and later, our daughter. My grip tightened on my wand as he charged towards us at full speed.
Thinking quickly, I moved out of the way, narrowly avoiding his razor-sharp claws. But Fred, caught up in his excitement and not paying attention, sent an explosive flying towards a nearby death eater who tackled him from behind. The force of the explosion knocked him off balance and Greyback took advantage, digging his claws deeply into Fred's hip.
I transformed into my animagus form in a flash, tackling Greyback with all my strength. Our bodies collided and rolled on the ground as we fought tooth and nail. I could feel his sharp claws tearing into my fur and skin, but I refused to give up.
Suddenly, a death eater appeared over a passed out Fred and grabbed a handful of his hair. I desperately tried to stop him, but Greyback kicked me off with surprising strength. I slammed into the wall behind me, pain shooting through my body as everything faded to black.
When I came to I saw Fred's blood pooling around him, seeping into the ground like a dark, viscous liquid. The sounds of fighting echoed all around us as I crawled towards him, desperate to reach him before it was too late. With every passing second, the chaos seemed to intensify. Finally, I reached him and dragged him into the transfiguration classroom for safety.
My heart raced as I closed the door behind us, securing us inside. In the dim light, I could see his face contorted in pain and fear. I needed to act quickly. "Lumos," I whispered, using Fred's wand to illuminate the dark room. Moving swiftly, I assessed his wound before looking around for anything that could help.
My eyes fell upon a jacket left on a nearby table. Without hesitation, I grabbed it and pressed it against his side. "You better not die," I pleaded with him, tears welling up in my eyes. "You need to stay alive for my daughter." With trembling hands, I tied my shirt around my arm as a makeshift bandage.
Suddenly, a chilling voice cut through the chaos and made my head throb with pain. It was Voldemort himself. "You have fought valiantly," he sneered,"but in vain. I do not wish this." A shiver ran down my spine at his words. "Every drop of magical blood spilled is a terrible waste. I therefore command my forces to retreat. In their absence, dispose of your dead with dignity."
I knew I needed to gather enough strength to carry Fred out of here and away from danger, but my body felt weak and exhausted. Looking around desperately for a solution, my eyes landed on a familiar desk at the front of the room. "This is Minnie's classroom," I realized with sudden clarity. McGonagall had always been one of my favorite teachers at Hogwarts and I knew her classroom well.
Hurriedly, I made my way towards the desk and stepped behind it. My foot landed on a loose board, lifting it up to reveal a hidden compartment. Inside, I found a first aid kit and a strengthening potion. With renewed hope, I rushed back to Fred's side and began tending to his wound with the supplies. We would make it out of here alive, together.
With shaking hands, I quickly administered the strengthening potion to Fred and began cleaning and dressing his wound.
After a few hours, Fred's eyes fluttered open and he groaned in pain. "Sirius?" he murmured, his voice weak.
"It's me," I reassured him, tears streaming down my face. "I'm here."
He looked at me with confusion before his memory came rushing back. "Greyback," he said through gritted teeth.
"Don't worry about him," I said, trying to sound confident. "I took care of him."
"How?" Fred asked, clearly surprised.
"I...I don't know," I admitted. "But we need to get out of here before any more Death Eaters show up."
Fred nodded and together we struggled to stand up. We leaned on each other for support as we made our way towards the door. Just as we reached it, the doorknob began to rattle.
Using all the strength I had left, I pushed open the door and we stumbled out into the hallway. Fred leaning on me as I tried to support his weight every step of the way.
"Come on!" I said toFred as we hurried towards the Great hall. The fighting had stopped about 30 minutes ago
"We're not going to make it," Fred panted beside me groaning in pain.
"Yes we are," I said firmly. "We have to keep moving."
We continued onwards before I kicked the door open to the Great Hall,"Someone help us," I called out to litterally anyone
Neville Longbottom ran up helping me with Fred,"But..." he said shocked as we took Fred to Madam Pomfey
"Your alive!" said Madam Pomfey surprised
"Of course we are,"I said confused. I looked around to see a version of Fred on the floor,"Oh...Thats not the real Fred. Thats a death eater," I told the Weasleys,"Must have used PolyJuice Potion,"
"Oh My Freddie," said Mrs.Weasley running to Fred with tears in his eyes as Harry hugged me tightly
"Wheres Moony and Y/n?" I asked Harry as I held him close
"Over there," he pointed
I grabbed his arm and dragged him with me as the Weasleys surrounded Fred. I didnt care about my arm as I saw my husband in bandages.
"Padfoot," he said with tears in his eyes as I reached him
I kissed his forehead,"Thank Merlin Your alive," I said looking at him
"Moony, Padfoot," said Harry making us look at him,"Y/n isn't here....I mean she is alive but she isnt here. She thought you and Fred were dead. She thought that Moony wouldnt make it so she left about twenty minutes ago,"
"Do you know where she is?" I asked standing
"No," said Harry
"Help me up," said Moony
I helped him up before we walked to the Weasleys,"Can someone make sure Moony is okay? I need to go find Y/n,"
"Y/n? Where is she?" asked Fred worried filling his eyes
Harry explained everything to the Weasleys.
"Y/n is also pregnant," he said
"What," said Fred wide-eye sitting up,"I need to find her," he tried to move but Madam Pomfey pushed him down saying his was to weak
"I'll find her,"
"No you wont Sirius," said McGonagall pointing to my arm pushing me to sit next to my husband
"We will go," said Bill and Charlie
George held his twins hand,"Your an asshole," he mumbled with red eyes
"I know,"Fred chuckled messing up his hair
"Where would Y/n go first?" asked Charlie
"Well her stuff is scattered around. Try Grimmauld Place, Burrow, Lupin Cottage and Muriel's," said Fred grunting as McGongall wrapped my arm.
"Well if she wanted to disappear then she will be able to," said Remus,"I thought that girl how to hide since she was a toddler," he grabbed my hand,"We will find her,"
I nodded,"We need to get our son," I said to him.
Tonks had stayed home becuase she was still to weak to fight from giving birth. She is with Andy and Teddy at their house.
"I will send a message," said Fluer
"I thought the wall killed you," said Percy,"I thought you died under the wall," He hugged his younger brother tightly,"I am sorry I have been a ministry loving prat," he cried
Flashback over/Yn POV
"Can I see the scars?" I asked not knowing if I believe it or not
"Yeah," said Dad taking off his jacket
I walked to Dad to see scars on his arm running down. I ran my hand down the pink skin,"now you match Father and I," I said to ease the tension in the air and making people laugh.
"A true Lupin now," laughed Dad kissing my head
"Does that make me one?" Laughed Bill
"What about me?" Said Fred laughing
"Well you both were attacked by Fenrir but I don't know if you have what it takes to be a Lupin-Black," I smirked crossing my arms
Everyone chuckles as I walked to Fred who was sitting down whose shirt was lifted. Four pink ish red claw marks went from the bottom of his waist down to the middle of his hip on his right side. I gently ran my fingers down the skin,"You got your scar on your right rib and now I got a scar on my hip," he pulled me onto his lap making me squeal
"Where have you been living Y/n?" Asked Ginny
"My room at Holyhead Harpies," I told them
"Isnt the room tiny though?" asked Leanne
"It is but its only me,"I told her
"Have you gone to the hospital for the babies?" Asked Mrs.Weasley
"Oh yeah. Where's my purse? Wait they took all my stuff when I was arrested earlier it's in the Auror office," I sighed
"I can get it later," said Tonks smiling,"I am just glad your home,"
I smiled at her as Fred hand slipped under my sweater and rubbed his thumb on my stomach.
"You said 10 weeks so the babies should be the size of apricots, your morning sickness is probably the worse this week," said Mrs.Weasley walking to a shelf,"How has traveling been?"
"Good so far through I do get a get light headed on floo powder," I told her
"Molly let's not worry about this right now," said Mr.Weasley
"But she is pregnant with my first grand babies! I don't even know if they are healthy!" she said pacing
"They are healthy. I just got my ten week check up yesterday," I told her,"I have a muggle ultrasound photo,"
"Ultra what?" asked Ron
"Ultrasound," said Hermione," An ultrasound is a mechanical machine that uses sound waves to make pictures of organs, tissues, and other structures inside your body," she looked around at the Weasleys who were still confused,"Basically takes a picture of the organ inside. It can show babies and is perfectly safe,"
"Oh," said Ron nodding,"How do you know this stuff?"
"Hermione parents are dentist. They have a kind of machine that deals with teeth," said Katie,"Anyways what should we do?"
"Can we talk?" Asked Fred whispering into my ear
I nodded,"Yeah,"
"Y/n and I are going for a walk,"said Fred to everyone
I got up from his lap and followed him outside. We walked around the yard for a few minutes before I spoke up,"Look I know your probably mad that I left but you have to realise that I thought you were dead, along with my fathers. I needed time to heal. I promise that I was coming back soon I just needed to find a place to stay before I did. I know your probably mad at me---"
Fred cover my mouth to stop me from rambling,"I am not mad," he said firmly,"If my parents died and you did as well then I would have done the same thing," he kissed my head as tears brimed my eyes,"I wanted to get you away from everyone so I could spend time with you and...and our babies," he placed his hand on my stomach
"So your not mad?" I asked
"No. Dont think I haven't noticed before the war that you were always looking behind you no matter if someone wasnt behind you. You always had to know were every single person was becuase you wanted to Protect them," he cupped my cheeks,"I could feel your heart breaking that day because there was a ringing in my ear. Our souls are intertwined Y/n. I spent weeks trying to find you but couldnt. I was the one to put those posters up with the help of Kingsley and Tonks to find you. When Mr.Screech would come to the Burrow with your letter to Harry. I would try to follow him but that sneaky little bugger escaped me," he chuckled
"Yeah I told Mr.Screech to fly fast and a difficult way," I chuckled,"I just needed time to be alone but Quenog kept telling me I needed to visit and I was truly planning to next week but now I am here," I smiled before feeling very nauseous cause of the babies,"Oh Godric,"
I ran to a bush and threw up. I felt my hair being pulled back and a hand rubbing my back,"Its okay love," said Fred
I wiped my mouth having my hands on my knees,"Sorry," I told him
"Don't be. You are caring our children," he smiled brightly as I turned to him
"Speaking of which. What are we going to do?" I asked,"I don't think George would be to happy with three babies in the apartment. Holyhead Harpies isn't a good place to raise kids. I know you mum is excited but I dont know about our dads being excited,"
"Y/n," said Fred biting his lip,"They are really excited," he reassured me,"My mom has started making a baby sweater for christmas. My Dad has build a crib for their room. Your Father has baby proofed Grimmauld Place which by the way they now live in full time. Your Dad has decorated the room next to yours for a baby. Our parents are so happy. I had to conviced them all plus my siblings and our friends not to buy stuff until you are home," He chuckled holding me tightly
"While we are on the topic of houses. Lee, George, Kenneth and I were out and about probably two weeks ago when we saw four empty houses on a large property site about 150 acres a peice hidden with trees. So all together 600 acres. There is a large pond, tons of feild and a apple tree farm as well. Well they all talk to their girls about it and they want to buy it. Would you want---"
"Is that even a question!" I squealed,"Of course I want my girls next to me!"
Fred chuckled,"Alright then we can buy it," he held me close breathing in my scent.
We stood there in a hug for a while. I felt calm in his arms again and was so happy I had him with me.
"Y/n where are you going to be staying?" asked Mrs.Weasley
"She will be with me until we get the house," called Fred looking up
"Then we need to get my stuff,"
"We can do that later," he rubbed my cheek before lifting me up and carrying me inside.
He set me down just intime for all of the girls to drag me upstairs. I sat on Ginnys bed breathing heavily,"What...do you...want?" I asked rubbing my chest
"Do you know the genders? Do you have names picked out?" asked Ginny bouncing on the bed
"Did Fred tell you about the houses?" said Alica
"Fred called dibs on the house he thought you liked," said Katie smiling
"How are you feeling? Do you need food water?" asked Hermione
"Can I see how big your belly is?" asked Leanne
"When is your wedding?" said Fluer
I blinked trying to comperhend every question thrown at me,"I dont know the genders but we have names. Fred did tell me about the house. I am alright just exhausted from all the emotions. I dont know when the wedding is Fluer but it might be after the babies are born," I lifted my sweater for Leanne so she could see.
The girls and I spent an hour relaxing before I was called down. I walked to Fred, George, my fathers, Bill and Charlie,"You ready to get your stuff?" asked Fred
I nodded smiling at him. We apparated to Holyhead Harpies garage and I entered my code in and we walked inside. Security checked us and let us go.
"Y/N!" yelled Susie running away from Qwenog who was carrying a frying pan
"Susie!" I yelled as she ran down the hall.
Susie went behind me,"Shes trying to kill me,"
"You literally go behind the pregnant lady to be protected!" I laughed
"She wont hurt you," said Susie,"Oh Hello," she said noticing the men behind me,"FRED! I thought you were dead,"
"What," said Qwenog looking up
"Yeah I've been alive and so have Y/ns Fathers. Its been a hell of a long story," said Fred rubbing the back of his neck
Dad gave a short run down of the story as we walked down the hall.
"Yes no more mopping Y/n!" said Susie
"What?" asked Charlie concerned
"Y/n would spend days in her bed crying. Only eating for the babies," said Qwenog
I didnt say anything and walked into my room. Mr.Screech started bouncing in his cage when he saw my Father enter,"Y/n," he said as I opened the door to the cage
"Dont worry I was still taking care of myself and the babies. I wouldnt do it all the time just when I felt down," I told him as Mr.Screech went to him, Dad and Fred. He landed on Freds head screeching loudly. I whistled for him and pointed to the cage and he flew back,"Good boy," I said to him
"Is it safe?" asked Charlie hidding behine Bill
"Yes,"I laughed recalling when Mr.Screech attacked him.
"Most of your stuff is in boxes already," said Bill looking around
"Yeah. Well I was planning on moving out of here within a few weeks," I mumbled picking up clothes from this morning
"Nope you sit your pregnant," said Fred lifting me and setting me on the bed.
I tried to protest but a cookie from George was shoved into my mouth. He must have taken it from my stash on my desk. I watched at they tapped my boxes to go to Freds and finished packing. Dad held my keys to my bike,"Well what do you want to do with this?" he asked
"I am keeping my bike," I told him
"But where?" he asked
"How about we keep it at the burrow until we get the house," said Fred
"Alright," he nodded,"I will see you all there. I will drive it back. Yes I know it will be a long drive,"
I got up and hugged him,"Just be careful," I told him
"Of course," he kissed my forehead
We went back to the burrow. Tonks gave me all my stuff which I thanked her for. I pulled out the ultrasound and showed Fred
"Woah," he said holding it and pulling me closely,"You have three bubbles in your stomach,"
I rolled my eyes at him,"Two are identical and one is faturnal," I told him
"Let me see," said Mrs.Weasley and Father at the same time
Soon everyone got to see the photo before it was handed back to me.
"I still can't believe your pregnant," said Father holding Teddy,"I am going to spoil them rotten,"
I chuckled as he pulled me close to him,"I am so proud of you Y/n. Never forget that,"
