After Merry's funeral, the crew was currently at a Galley-la house in Dock as they all needed some rest.
Kokoro, Chimney, and Gonbe came in.
The former laughs. “I see you are all doing better. You’ve been resting hard these past few days. No one can blame you though.”
“Ah actually no. Luffy is still resting,” Yukiko says smiling.
Sanji elaborates. “He didn’t want to miss his meals while he slept so he made up a… sleep-eating technique.”
Kokoro looks shocked as she suddenly realizes that Luffy was doing just that as Yukiko sat next to him closely. “Why don’t you move?” She asks.
"Can't. His subconscious doesn't want me to leave." Yukiko shook her head because his leg somehow wrapped around hers.
Chimney laughs. “She’s stuck to him!”
“It’s the price I pay for being his woman!” Yukiko smiled.
Kokoro just laughs as she turns to a Nami who has been sulking and depressed for quite a while.
"Your ’re log pose should be set after two or three more days….” Kokoro states.
Nami sniffs, “What’s the point? Even if it sets we won’t be able to go anywhere. All the money we had for the ship is gone forever. Our furniture, clothes, even Bellemere’s orange trees.”
“Sorry for saying something,” Kokoro sweatdrops.
"Actually, we still have our belongings." Yukiko smiled making Nami turn to her.
“Oh, so that’s why your guests are here.”
At that, some men came in. With all their stuff even Nami's trees.
"Thanks boys." Yukiko smiled.
“Thank you! Thank you!” Nami says out of happiness.
"Before we left to get Robin, I asked them to get our stuff off Merry for safekeeps." Yukiko explained.
Then Chopper comes in and salutes Sanji with a smile on his face. “Reporting in! I treated the Franky Family and made sure Robin didn’t leave my sight the whole time!”
“I already told you. I’m not going anywhere,” Robin laughs.
Then Franky came in with the twins, “How’s your super week going?!”
He quickly sits down crisscross. “Alright. Listen. I have something important to say. There’s this island that is always at war. For years, fire has rained on the island. Death and destruction are the only thing that it’s people know. Houses fall down, cities go into ruin; there’s no place to run from the chaos. And in the midst of all this madness there’s a single tree. No matter what happens, it doesn’t fall. No matter how much the island is destroyed its people gather around and build it all up again. It’s the strongest tree in the world. As for as anyone knows, only a few exist. It’s called the Jewel tree, Adam.”
"Why tell us this?" Yukiko asked confused.
“Every now and then a piece of the tree ends up in the black market. I wanted one for a long time now. However, the price is 200 million beli. Too expensive for me. However a bunch of pirates came around flailing their money around and begging me to take it,” Franky states.
Sanji is angry and even drops his cigarette from his mouth, “Bastard! You used our money to buy a stupid log?!”
Franky slams his fists down and looks like he’s bowing, “That stupid log is composed of the toughest wood in the world, the same wood that was made to create a certain ship that can get people anywhere in the world! A long time ago I had decided to stop building ships. And yet I couldn’t help but follow in the footsteps of my old master. Soon enough I find myself designing a new ship. Now my hope is to use the wood to build the new ship- To put all my heart until building this last ship. A ship of dreams that can sail across any sea!”
He looks up now with that serious look.
“All that’s left now is to build it. I already have the design and materials. So, what I’m saying here is… it would be my honor if you would take my ship and sail the world!” He finishes.
This wakes Luffy up and he starts glowing in excitement.
Yukiko was the first to break the silence, “YOU’RE GIVING US A FREE SHIP?!”
"Pachi?!?!"
“All I ask is it’s in good hands. Trust me. There’s nothing more I want than that! Gol D. Roger, his ship was Oro Jackson! It was made out of a Jewel Tree so I know! I’ll show you guys the best damn ship you’ve ever seen!”
Everyone was happy as this was good news. They will get a new ship that can finish their journey.
Yukiko looked over at Luffy who also smiled and they held hands as a new chapter was gonna be in their lives now.
However, the mood is ruined when a wall is destroyed by a rather large marine. “WHAT THE?!” Yukiko screams as the others are blinding by the debris.
The man laughs. “I have two friends who would love to share a word with Monkey D. Luffy.”
As he charges, Yukiko went into action.
"Minerva, Leota, Psyche, Defense!"
The three Psychic Ladies as Yukiko called them, put up a strong Protect that blocked the coming fist to Luffy's relief.
"Hm. Impressive. Not many can block my Fist of Love. Guess I'd better train harder. I heard you've been making trouble again, Luffy." The old man said.
"Grandpa! What are you doing here?!" Luffy yelled.
Then a new voice also popped up.
"Garp, you knucklehead! I said greet our grandson, not HIT him!" A woman's voice yelled kicked Garp on the head.
"Ow! Hey, I didn't arrest him!" Garp yelled as he gained a bump on the head.
"Not the point." A woman in a vice-admiral outfit said. She had graying brown hair and some wrinkles around her eyes, but she still looked like she could still be in her 40s.
"Grandma! You're here too?!" Luffy yelled.
"Yup, how's my favorite monkey doing? Heard you gave Spandam hell, good. I never really liked him to be honest." The woman said with a smile.
The crew looked on in shock.
"Those two people..." Nami said.
"Vice-Admiral Garp, the hero of the Navy!" Sanji exclaimed.
"And Bounty Hunter Swordswoman turned Vice-Admiral, Crimson Slash Rosella!" Robin adds.
"These are Luffy's.......grandparents?!?" The crew exclaimed.
Then Garp and Rosella looks over at Yukiko.
"You must be Yukiko, we've heard a lot of things about you. So you're dating our grandson?" Garp asked.
"I hope you've been looking out for him." Rosella nodded.
"Of course she has! We even go into battle together! We became a couple after we beat Crocodile!" Luffy exclaims with a smile.
"He's not lying there. She's done a great job keeping him occupied. " Nami commented.
Garp and Rosella were quiet for a while then Rosella laughed.
"Well, that's good to hear!"
Garp smiled as well.
"Well I guess I have to welcome you into the family since our grandson is an idiot meaning you’re going to be my granddaughter-in-law in the future.”
But then Rosella hit Garp. "You're not hitting our granddaughter in law!"
Nami eavesdrops behind him and gasps, “But still.... Luffy are they really-“
“Yes. Don’t fight gramps. He almost killed me a dozen times in the past!” Luffy states rubbing the bump on his head gently making Yukiko and her Pokémon glare at him.
Garp then laughs at Luffy, “Killed you? You’re so ungrateful! I didn’t throw you in the ravine for nothing! Or tossed you in the jungle at night! And tied you to a bunch of balloons and let you fly into the sky! It was to turn you into a strong man!”
Sanji then whispers to the others, “I think we’ve just witnessed what gave Luffy that endless will to live.”
Yukiko was astonished by this. A normal person would have been dead already.
Garp continues, “In the end I gave you to a close friend so you can train with Ace! However, you turn into this while I am gone! Everything I did was to forge you into a fine marine!”
Luffy stands up with me gently and pushes Yukiko off to the side to stand beside Sanji. He glares at Garp, “I always told you I wanted to be a pirate!”
“It’s all that 'Red-Hair’s' fault!”
“Don’t insult him!”
When Garp was about to grab Luffy, Rosella kicked Garp in the side sending him into the wall.
"Garp, honey. Back then when you told me you went to train Luffy, why didn't you tell me how you were training him?" She gave a dangerous smile.
"I thought it would be funner." Garp said simply.
........
Rosella just gave Garp a couple of bumps on the head.
"Honey, when it comes to our grandson, can't you be on my side?" Garp asked.
"Not then, not now.........Even today, I still wonder why I married you." Rosella shook her head.
A random marine girl popped up and spoke. "He had to. He got you pregnant with your son."
.........
"Why did I let that happen again?"
"He got you wasted."
.........
"Why are we talking about this?"
"Beats the hell out of me."

Soon enough Luffy and Zoro come in with a pink haired boy and a blonde who doesn’t seem too friendly. They introduce themselves as Coby and Helmeppo. Coby and them are friends but the other guy not so much.
Everyone in the crew right now watches in silence as Garp fixes the wall he broke. They all sweatdrop at the reason he said he broke it. He said, “Its cooler that way.”
"You're fixing it, too!" Rosella yelled.
"Ah, okay."
Yup, they are related.
Rosella sat down as she spots Zoro and that he had his big scar showing.
"I know only one person that can make that kind of injury. You met Dracule didn't you, boy?"
"Dracule?" Sanji asked.
"Wait, you mean Hawkeye?!" Nami asked.
"The Warlord? You know Hawkeye?" Chopper asked.
"Correction. I knew him. In fact.........
I was his old sensei when he was still a greenhorn." She smiled.
"WHAT?! YOU TRAINED HAWKEYE?!" Zoro yelled in shock.
"Like a dog. But all that training got him where he is now. One of the best students I've had." Rosella smiled. "Oh, by the way, if you meet up with him again, tell him I said, 'Hello, I recognized your handiwork.'."
Man can the crew take anymore surprises?
However, as Garp is fixing the wall, he says something that makes everyone pause, “I heard you met your old man.”
“Huh Dad? What do you mean dad? I have a dad?” Luffy asks confused.
“Oh he didn’t introduce himself? Yeah. I heard he saw you off in Loguetown.”
That made the crew except Yukiko pause.
“Luffy’s dad was in that town?” Sanji asks trying to remember.
Nami frowns. “I wonder what he’s like.”
“His name is Monkey D. Dragon. He’s a revolutionary,” Garp replies casually.
Suddenly a riot outside erupts from this new information.
"The Revolutionary Dragon had a son?!"
"Luffy is Dragon's kid?!"
"That would mean Dragon is Garp's and Rosella's kid! What's with this family?!"
"This is the first time I've heard of Dragon's full name!"
“Huh? What’s the big deal?” Luffy asks turning to look at the crew.
Sanji’s eyes are wide. “BAKA! YOU DON’T EVEN KNOW WHO DRAGON IS?!”
“Your father is a dangerous, like really dangerous man!” Nami states also in shock.
He glances around the room confused still. Especially since everyone else is in shock too.
'If he doesn't know, that means no one ever told him. It would make sense as he never mentioned his family besides Ace when we met him.' Yukiko thought.
Finally he turns to Robin, “Robin?”
“How can I explain this? Ah, pirates wouldn’t usually try by themselves to disrupt the government or marines… But there is currently a power right now trying to directly oppose the World Government. That would be the Revolutionary Army and the man in the center of that would be Dragon. Right now this current thought is being spread all over the world. Encouraging countries to overthrow their corrupt monarchies. A number of those countries have already fallen and to be expected the World Government is upset, and has labeled the puppet master Dragon as the most dangerous criminal in the world. They have been pursuing him for a long time and yet…” She stops seeming to finally process what kind of captain we have.
“And yet?” Luffy wants her to continue. Instead, she doesn’t. He glances over at Garp who suddenly stops building the wall. His subordinates ditched the materials once he said who is son was. He glances up as well, “Oh I don’t think I should have said all that!”
He laughs for a good minute before saying with a serious face, “Then…. Forget what I said!”
“WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD FORGET THAT?!”
"PACHI, PA PA PACH!"
Yukiko and Pachi shouts for everyone seeing as they are in too much of a shock from how stupid Garp is for saying that.
But then she thought.
Grandparents as Marines.
Father as a Revolutionary.
And she's dating the grandson who happens to be a pirate.
Does her future with them hang in the balance?!
