Thomas, Seth and Leah get to a part of the woods they know they'll find some members of the pack.
-Thomas, they're coming! - Seth calls, panting from following him all over the forest.
-I know. - The guy glances back at the siblings before turning to the dark woods.
-We have to shift. We can't protect ourselves like this. - Leah speaks up, standing beside her brother, who nods in agreement.
-They'll see it as a threat. - Thomas assures. - I just wanna talk! I'd be easier if I could see you!
Silence is the only thing they hear before some members of the pack appear. Paul spits into the ground, showing grudge in his expression towards Thomas.
-This was never your territory. How's your new fmily? - Paul mocks, Thomas rolling his eyes.
-Are you done?
-Are you coming home, Thomas? - Quil asks the guy, who doesn't reply.
-This was never my home, Quil. And I'm not leaving until all of this ends. - Thomas assures, the pack members frowning.
-'The hell are you talking about? - Paul begins losing the bare patience he has left.
-I want Sam to accept Seth and Leah back.
-What?! - Leah takes a step forward.
-Not that! - Seth exclaims.
-Shut up. - Thomas orders, turning to them both before looking back at Paul. - I want them to go back home, to be safe, and for this to end.
On another part of the woods, Jasper, Esme and Carlisle find themselves running in search for the blood that Alessandra needs in case she gives birth in the morning. Sam immediately gets alert when hearing footsteps, and starts running alongside another member of the pack.
-Make Sam wait for Alessandra to separate from the problem. - Thomas tells the pack members.
-When she's dead, you mean. - Paul takes a step forward.
-Easy, Paul. - Embry asks, tired of his behaviour.
-Then what? - Paul asks Thomas, who maintains his posture.
-Tell Sam that, when the moment comes, I'll be the one to destroy it. - The guy demonstrates security, although he doesn't want to do it on the inside. Seth and Leah stunned by his words.
-Thomas! - Seth scolds, not believing what he just said.
-Only I can do that. Alessandra and the whole family trust me blindly. - Paul smiles, impressed by the idea.
The wolves, on the other hand, managed to defeat Esme and don't hesitate in surrounding her. The woman gets up quickly and gets defensive when seeing Jasper defeat them. Carlisle approaches his wife, helping her to keep running. Jasper follows them, jumping on to the other side of the woods and leaving the wolves behind. Seeing the Cullens leave, they howl in order to call the others.
-You played us?! - Paul yells angrily before transforming.
The others follow him after glancing at Thomas in disappointment. The guy turn to the Clearwater siblings, who can't understand what just happened.
Meanwhile at the Cullen house, Alessandra, Bree, and Alice are in the living room. Talking about possible names for the baby.
-Don't you want something a little more classic? - Bree asks, doubting about those names. Keeping her hand on Alli's belly, who smiles while shaking her head.
Thomas goes up the stairs, listening to their conversation. Edward approaches him, a tranquil aspect.
-Thank you.
-Did they escape? - Thomas asks, to which the vampire nods.
-Yes, thank you. - The vampire watches him nod in a calmer and less guilty way now.
Both guys enter the living room, approaching the three girl, who maintains their conversation. Alessandra smiles when seeing them both in once piece. Alice and Bree help her up, still not convinced the names for the baby.
-Hey. You okay? - Alli asks, a hand on her belly.
-Yeah, I'm not the one carrying a demon. - Thomas jokes.
-This is important, Alli. Tell him what you chose. - Bree encourages.
-Now what? Tell me it's not a last-minute decision.
-Bree and Alice want Alessandra to change her baby name options. - Edward explains after readiing his sisters' thoughts.
-They hate them. - Alli smiles lightly.
-Well, I'll accept the name you choose. - Thomas assures, half-smiling.
-They're not so bad. - The human tells Alice.
-Let me guess, it has something to do with a certain character you believe looks like your husband. - He raises and eyebrow and smiles victoriously when seeing her reaction.
-You know me so well.
-'Course I do, silly.
-As he said, in my reality I met a character I feel like it fits perfectly with Edward. - The mentioned one frowns immediately. - So I chose that name and another one I've always wanted to call my baby if it turned out to be a boy.
-End the suspense, just say it. - Bree asks desperately, making everyone pesent laugh.
-There are two options. One is Cedric Alexander Vitore Volturi Cullen. and the other is just Cedric Vitore Volturi Cullen. - Alli reveals, watching everyone's reactions.
Edward smiles lightly while Thomas lightly shakes his head but with a small smile.
-I cannot believe it, Alli. I thought your Cedric Diggory obsession would come to an end. - Thomas comments.
-Excuse you, do not mess with Cedric.
-Well, Cedric isn't so bad. - Bree rolls her eyes.
-Now tell them the girl's name. - Alice asks wiith excitement.
-There three options for the girl. - Alessandra grimaces. - One is Keyla Vitore Volturi Cullen, another is Clarissa Vitore Voltur Cullen, and the other is Keyla Clarissa Vitore Volturi Cullen.
Edward smiles again by hearing the girl names.
-Keyla Clarissa? - Thomas asks incredulously.
-Too weird? - Alli grimaces.
-No, it's not weird, sweetheart. It's beautiful and unique. - Shs turns to her husband, smiling. Enchanted by his words. - It kinda fits the situation. I like those names.
The girl turns to Alice, smiling triumphantly.
-He likes them. - The pixie-haired hand her the disposable cup wth blood.
Alice rolls her eyes and shakes her head. Alesandra tries taking the cup but it slips from her hand, falling to the floor. She tries picking it up but feels an abrupt movement from the baby, breaking her spine. Her knees touch the ground and, before her head touched the floor, Edward approaches her.
-Alli! - Bree and Alice exclaim at the same time, Thomas approaching.
Alessandra screams in pain, tears coming out from the baby's abrupt movements.
-E-Edward, the b-baby... - The brunette sobs, starting to cry.
-Sweetheart, do not close your eyes. - Edward begs despertely, holding his wife. But her eyes start closing. - Alessandra! Sweetheart! - He tries keeping his wife awake but she falls unconcious in his arms. - Alice, Bree, get everything ready! - He tells his sisters, who nod and quickly disappear.
The guy carries his wife, rushing to the library. Thomas runs to the library, too, worried about his best friend's health.
It appears that the baby's birth had come before expected.
