*Amelia's POV*
I woke up early because I had soccer practice. Jacob was going to take me because practice started at 7 in the morning. I was getting my stuff ready, when I heard a knock on my door.
"Come in." I said and saw Scar stepping in.
"What are you doing up at 6:20 in the morning?" She asked me.
"I have soccer practice at 7. Jacob's taking me." I told her. I placed everything in my bag and went downstairs. Scar was following me. I went to the kitchen to fill my water up.
"Hey Amelia, I know you've spent a day with Chris, I was wondering if we could have one too?" Scar asked me fidgeting a little. I looked at her and she looked kind of nervous.
"Uh yeah, why not." I told her.
"Perfect, I'll let you know when. Also, what time do you get back?" Scar asked me.
"Should be back before 9:30. Can Jacob come over? We have to go to work at around 12." I told her.
"Aren't you taking care of Rose?" She asked me.
"I'm taking her with me. She'll be safe. Don't worry." I told her when I saw her worried face. "By the way, we're going to be arriving at midnight." I told her and suddenly there's a car honking. "That's Jacob got to go. Bye Scar." I told her as I was heading out the door.
"Amelia, wait." She told me but I was already out.
"Does Scar know about today?" Jacob asked as he got out of the driveway.
"Yeah, Rose is coming too. Chris and Scar are going on a date." I told him.
"I thought they were together?" He questioned.
"Nope." I said playing some music. We were singing the whole way until we arrived. I thanked him and headed to the field.
"Amelia, excited for our game next Wednesday?" Mia asked me.
"Yeah. Also, I think we might scrimmage with JV at the end today." I told her putting on my cleats.
"Morning Amelia." One of my senior teammates said to me.
"Hey Zoe." I told her. Zoe is like a mentor to me, she's also the other captain. We waited for the team to start warm up. I always enjoy playing soccer.
*Scarlett's POV*
I was kind of annoyed that Amelia left without answering me. I headed upstairs to finish getting ready. I had to head to the office. Chris agreed taking care of Rose until I was back at around 3. He told me to be ready by 5 for our date.
"Morning Scar." Kate greeted me with a cup of coffee. "How's Amelia and Rose?" She asked me.
"Rose is doing well, but I never realized just how teenagers can cause so much frustration, but I still love Amelia, it's just that..." I said trying to describe my emotions.
"I'm glad my daughter is still not a teenager, I still have 3 years." She told me. I sat down and placed my head down.
"It's not funny, first, they're all polite then they are not listening to you." I told her. I decided to just focus on working. In my head, I was most excited about this afternoon. Just the thought of it made me feel like there was butterflies in my stomach. I finished most of my work, when I decided to go online and look for some soccer cleats for Amelia.
"You are totally working." Kate told me as she stood behind causing me to jump.
"Kate." I yelled. "I'm done by the way...well most of it." I told her causing her to laugh.
"Why you looking at soccer cleats?" She asked me.
"I want to buy some for Amelia. I've been too busy working and being with Rose. She deserves it after what she missed out. And not that I dislike it but she's been spending a lot of time with Chris. He even told me that Amelia has been close to calling him dad. That she says da...and then stops." I rambled on.
"That's a lot to process, but I'm understanding." Kate told me. "Maybe talk with Chris on ways that you two can bond at the same time with Amelia." She told me.
"She also spends time with Jacob." I added.
"That one boy who picked her up after the interview she had with us. The one speeding." Kate told me and I nodded my head yes. "Is he Amelia's boyfriend." She asked.
"Amelia said no, just best friends but I feel like that's going to change. Amelia's older brother sent me this picture." I told Kate showing the picture of Amelia and Jacob.

"I'm going further and saying they will get married in about 5-10 years. Maybe sooner. But those two are forever. Just like you and Chris." She teased me at the end.
"You know what..." I started but my phone ranged. I noticed that the caller id was Amelia.
"Quick question, is Rose allergic to any food?" Amelia asked me.
"Not that I am aware of." I told her. "Why?" I asked.
"Just making sure. Also, before I forget, I have a soccer game this Wednesday." She told me and I made sure to write it on a post it.
"Is that your mom?" I heard in the background. I'm guessing it's Jacob. "Hey Amelia's mom, could you tell your daughter to buy me a donut for driving her." I heard Jacob and I couldn't help but chuckle.
"Jacob." Amelia said.
"Your daughter is going to kill me. Send help please." He said and I couldn't help but smile as he referred me as Amelia's mom. It sounds like a dream.
"Amelia...don't make Jacob crash, also before I forget, could you make sure to bring Rose a jacket if you take her out." I told her.
"Bet." She told me and hanged up.
"See." I said looking at Kate.
*Amelia's POV*
After practice ended, Jacob picked me up and we decided to stop by Dunkin for some donuts. On the way there, I called my mom to see if Rose needs anything when I take her out.
"So Rose is going with us?" Jacob asked.
"Yeah, hopefully she doesn't get bored." I told him. We got home around 10 in the morning.
"Morning." Chris greeted me.
"Morning, Jacob is staying since we're leaving at 12 to work. I brought donuts." I told him.
"Donuts?" I heard Rose say.
"You want some?" Jacob asked her as he placed the box on the table and opened it. Rose sat down and grabbed a pink sprinkles donut.
"Thank you." Rose said with her mouth full making us laugh.
"Alright, I'm going to take a shower and get ready." I told them heading upstairs. I decided to make a quick call to my cousin.
*Jacob's POV*
Amelia went upstairs to get ready for today's job. Anyways, right now I was in the living room playing with Rose.
"So Jacob, where are you and Amelia and Rose going?" Chris asked me.
"Me and Amelia are working as wedding photographers." I told him.
"It's nice being able to get some money. Where do you work?" He asked me.
"Oh, I have my own company actually. Photography is just my side job. Amelia and me also invest on stocks." I told him. He looked at me shock.
"That's impressive, what does your company sell?" He asked me.
"A variety of safety products, such as bullet proof backpacks, dog shoes for the heat. And more. Amelia and me are working on creating some jewelry that contains a tazer, maybe pepper spray." I described.
"Jacob, play please." Rose told me and I got down on my knees to play with Rose. She handed me a doll and I pretended to be a ballerina.
"That's funny. The barbie can't bend her legs." Rose laughed out loud. I kept playing with her until Amelia came back.
"Do you have all the gear?" She asked me.
"Yeah, got everything?" I asked her.
"Of course, come on Rose, we're going out." Amelia told her and Rose inmediately stood up.
"Bye Chris." Amelia.
"Bye." I told him.
"Bye you two and take care of Rose." He warned us. Amelia helped Rose get in my car and then came to the front with me. We let Rose control the music this time. We arrived and met with the groom and the bride. They took some individual shots and then with the groomsmen and the bridesmaids. Rose was having fun just wandering off.
*Chris's POV*
I went to start planning the date for this afternoon. I still had a few hours left, I decided to change before leaving the house. Amelia helped me find a private place and then suggested to bring some of Scar's favorite snack. I called my brother to help calm my nerves down. It was now 4 close to 5 and I made sure to stop by a store and bought flowers. I walked to Scar's house at 5 and knocked. Scar opened the door and her smile made me feel butterflies in my stomach. I saw what she was wearing and I couldn't stop admiring her.
"Scar, you.. just wow. You look beautiful." I said softly. She started blushing. "These are for you." I told her giving the bouquet of flowers.
"Chris, you are a hopeless romantic. Thank you." She told me. I stepped inside and she took the flowers to put it on a vase. "So, where are we going?" She asked.
"It's a surprise, you're going to love it." I told her grabbing her hand. I opened the car door for her and helped her get in. I then got in and started driving. I eventually got to the place where I planned everything. I found a park, that was hidden, it wasn't that far, but it was a lot of off roading.
"Chris this is beautiful." Scar said looking at the scenery. I wanted to do a sunset picnic.
"Come." I said taking her hand and leading her to the blanket that was sitting right in front of a lake. "I hope you enjoy this." I told her. We sat down and I took all the food that I packed.
"Oh Chris." Scar said giving me a kiss. I held her waist tightly not breaking the kiss until our lungs started burning. I was flustered to say the least. Scar leaned her head to my shoulder and I wrapped my around her shoulder. We enjoyed the sweet fruit and some crackers with cheese. Eventually, the sunset started appearing, it was beautiful, but not as much as Scar.
"So...I was hoping if you would like to be my girlfriend?" I asked her and she looked up.
*Scarlett's POV*
I was taking in the sunset when I heard the question that I never would've thought to hear again after my divorce.
"So...I was hoping if you would like to be my girlfriend?" I heard Chris ask me and I looked up at him. I crashed my lips against him, making him fall to the ground on his back with me on top. I broke the kiss and looked at him.
"Yes, I want to be your girlfriend." I told him and giving him another kiss, this one more passionate. I'm so happy to be in a relationship with Chris. After a while, we laid down and looked at the dark night filled with stars.
"Hey Chris, I was wondering if there is something we both can do to spend time with Amelia at the same time. I've been too busy and she enjoys being with you...not that it's a bad thing." I started telling him. I felt his hand caressing my hand.
"I was also thinking about it. Maybe start with something small, like going to buy groceries, going to the mall and then in a few months, going to Disney." He said.
"Groceries don't sound like a bad idea." I told him. We spent the rest of the night looking at sky and enjoying the time alone, with no kids. We went back home at around 11 and Amelia was not here with Rose.
*Amelia's POV*
The wedding finished at around midnight. The bride and groom gave me, Jacob and Rose some food. Rose was having fun until she got tired and fell asleep on some chairs at around 10. Me and Jacob made sure to pack the gear and thanked the couple for hiring us and wished them luck for their future. Jacob helped carry Rose because my feet are killing me. We got home around 12:30 and luckily the door was opened. Jacob came in and helped me tuck Rose in.
"My feet are killing me." I whispered to him.
"I know, but at least we got paid well. Now I just have to edit the pictures and we should be good to go." He whispered as I walked him out the door. "Bye." He said and left. I went to the kitchen and grabbed a cup of water.
"Morning." I heard Scar.
"Yeah yeah. Do you have ibuprofen? My feet are killing me." I told her and she walked to some cabinets and handed me the box. "Thank you, sorry for keeping you awake. Jacob helped me tuck Rose into bed." I told her taking two ibuprofen.
"The thing that matters is you got back home safe and took care of Rose." She told me. "Now go upstairs and go to bed." She told me kissing my forehead.
"You too." I told her. "I'll see you in a few hours." I told her. I got ready and inmediately went to bed. At least I earned some money. I should've asked Scar how the date went. I'll talk to Chris instead.
