Venus POV
I run down the stairs as I looked around the subway station as I spot the person I was looking for. I smile quickly making my way over to them as they had some earphones in their ears unable to hear anybody as I pat his shoulder. He turns around seeing it was me as he takes them off, "Oh, hey Venus. You made it." I smiled, "Of course I came Sweets. This is a whole new adventure for me. Like I said last time, "I've been down in the subway before, but I've never actually rid one before." He nods, "That's what baffles me, who could you not ride a subway before." "Well, I always had to travel on foot, so I never needed to go through transportation underground before and most of my life I was in the military, and we didn't really take transportation in a subway before." He nods a bit understanding as we see the train stop in front of us as it starts opening the doors letting us in. We enter as we take our seats. I look around the place taking in everything and the people in here.
A few minutes in the ride Sweets and I noticed a boy standing next to us as he gets a notification as he checks it. It seemed to impact on him as he had to take a seat as he then begins crying. Sweets and I looked at each other for a moment as we look at the guy as I ask, "Uh, excuse me. Are you all right?" He looks at us and nods, "Yes. Thanks. Yes, um-" He sniffles a bit as he adds, "In fact, I'm great. I've been fighting leukemia for the past eight years, and now, I just got a text- I'm cancer-free." Sweets and I looked at him happily as Sweets says first, "That's awesome." I add, "Congratulations." The guy then starts smiling even more, "Its- Oh, my God." He laughs in excitement as he then explains to us more, "I've been on hold for almost half my life. No more. No. I'm gonna travel. I'm gonna sleep with exotic women in exotic places. I-I'm gonna do anything I want."
We smile for him as Sweets says, "Hey, that sounds like a good plan." I nod agreeing as I then say, "Well congratulations, would you be okay with a hug?" He nods as I give him a nice firm hug as we let go of each other as Sweets goes to shake his hand, "Congrats, man." As we then looked forward I leaned towards Sweets a bit as I whisper, "The subway is really full of mystery huh?" Sweets thinks about it and nods, "Yeah... It really is." Not even two minutes within the train begins to sway repeatedly fast as we looked around as the guy then asks, "Whoa. What's goin' on?" We then could feel the train starts to put on its breaks as we look out our window seeing water hitting it as Sweets says, "Oh, my God."
We then suddenly see a body hit the window as well as the guy then says freaked out, "What the hell is that?" I explain, "That's human remains..." Because of the force amount of pressure the water is hitting against the train it caused the train to be pushed against a concrete pillar making all of inside fall out of our seats as I reacted quickly and placed myself over Sweets holding onto the side of the bar and the seat with much strength I have as we all were harshly pushed as Sweets collides with me as I keep us secure in our seats as much as I could. But then we hear a thumping sound as we I looked behind me and sweets looks down as we see the same young man dead laying on the ground as I let go of the seat and bar falling slowly onto the ground as Sweets looked at the guy in shock. Sweets looked very panicked as I get down next to him quickly checking his pulse not feeling anything as Sweets asks, "Anything?" I shake my head as he then said, "Oh, no." "He's gone Sweets."
I close my eyes yet to witness another loss for someone who had very optimistic hopes and dreams just to be cut this short as I take a deep breath. I open my eyes again and closed the guys eyes as I hear Sweets panting a bit as I looked at him worried as I could see his shaken up look in his eyes letting me know that this was the first time, he's experienced a death like this before as I lean over to him and give him a hug, I'm sorry you had to see that Sweets..." I could feel him hug me as he then says, "I should be saying that to you Venus, you're shaking." I didn't even realize that I was actually shaking as I then say, "I can't help it, you know with bad memories and experiences, I think my mind and body aren't in line with each other." I feel him nod, "Yeah..."
After about thirty minutes Sweets and I are watching as the paramedics are closing the guy up as we watch. I was in a daze of sort looking as they do their job as I then feel a hand on my shoulder as my head was turned to whoever it was as I snapped out of it seeing it was Booth as I say, "Ranger?" "Hey, Blueberry, are you and Sweets all right?" I nod a bit as Sweets says, "Yeah. Yeah, I'm fine." "Neither of you look fine." I then say smiling a little, "Just give me some time and I'll be fine. Just letting myself process what happened is all." Booth nods a bit ruffling my head a bit making me smile genuinely a bit more as he looks at Sweets. Sweets notice as he says, "Oh, it's, you know- It's a whole subway car full of people, and the worst injury's a broken arm- except for this guy." Booth nods, "I can see that." "Venus and I were just talking to him, um, when it hit, and he just beat cancer."
Booth could also notice his distress on something he's experiencing the first time, "All right, look. Tell you what. Let's go over here and just have a seat. Try to relax." Booth looks at me, "And Bones is over there with the other remains." I nod as Sweets then says, "I, uh- You know, he talked about traveling and-and-" I add, "sleeping with exotic women...." Sweets nods, "Yeah- and he was gone. Just like that." I look at Sweets understanding as Booth says to him, "Just have a seat. And I'm gonna take blueberry here to check up on Bones, and I'll come back and take you to the office. All right?" Sweets sits down nodding, "It's fine." "Okay?" "Uh-huh. It's no problem." Booth and I slowly walk away seeing him take a deep breath as I whisper, "He's not doing so good since he watched what happened." Booth nods a bit as he adds, "You're also not so good either." I shrug a bit, "Yeah... but the difference between Sweets and I is that I've seen to many deaths of different sorts that I've learned how to deal with it. But for Sweets... this is his first time watching someone with hopes and dreams die just so quickly and get taken away and he doesn't know how to deal with it."
Booth nods, "Yeah, you're right about that. But still, knowing you, you're not one to let it leave your mind Blueberry." I hum as we see Temp walking over towards us as we got to the body as the officer next to her says pointing over to me, "Your friends said the skeleton washed up against the train window. It would have freaked me out." Temp sees me as she informs the Officer, "Oh, she's not my friend, she's my younger sister and she's seen more horrific stuff than that to get her scared." I sweat drop a bit, "Thanks Temp... I think." Booth then says, "That's not something you say out loud Bones..." Temp shrugs a bit not understanding as she then adds, "Booth, this is Officer Grant with the transit police."
Booth nods as he informs her, "Water mains, they broke all through the city." She nods, 'Yeah, and this station was closed for construction. That's probably why it flooded like that." I then speak seeing Temp preparing, "I took a look at the body a bit earlier before you arrived. This is a male. Early 30s." Temp nods looking at it adding, "Dead at least a week. Probably washed out of the tunnel when the main broke." A girl taking notes behind Temp then says, "This could be quite a thrilling opening for your next book." We looked at her not really sure who she is as Booth just smiles nodding, "Yeah." He then leans in towards Temp as well as I as he asks quietly, "What'd she say?" Temp says, "Never mind." I nod a bit about to ask something as well, but I heard my name being called as we all looked in the same direction to the left as we see it was Wendell there.
I was confused a bit as I start going over to him, "Wendell? What are you doing here?" He sees me and quickly makes his way over to me and gives me a tight hug. I hug him back as we stay silent for a minute as I then move away a bit, "What are you doing here, Bub?" He brushes my cheek a bit lightly explaining, "After the earthquake I went to call you many times, but you didn't answer so I got worried and called the others to see where you were, and they told me you were here. So, I took Jupiter with me and on the way, I heard in the radio about the subway accident that happened, and I quickly got here as fast as I could to see if you were alright. And I'm glad you are... right?" I looked at him a bit but then smiled, "Yeah, I'm fine. I feel even more better because your here now. But I didn't hear my phone ring..." I start checking all of my pockets seeing that I didn't have on me as I sigh a bit, "I think it's in the train somewhere still as it slipped out of my pocket when we were on aboard."
I looked at an officer about to pass by as I ask, "Excuse me, but could you have some people search for a phone in the train? It's a touch screen type and has a screen saver of a bullmastiff dog on it with his face." I point over at Wendell's face as the man looks at him and nods going to grab another person or two to find my phone. I then look back at Wendell, "I'm sorry for worrying you so much." He gives me a smile, "I don't think I'll ever stop thinking about you whenever I'm doing something." I chuckle a bit, "You're a bit too much sometimes you know that." He chuckles a bit with me as we then lean into each other and give one another a small light kiss. I then look around him a bit, "Where's Jupiter?" He turns his head to the entrance, "He's sitting over by the entrance."
I smile seeing my dog who's grown so much already as I whistle seeing him stand up and run over to me as I bend down and start petting him, "There's my boy. You've been behaving very well when I'm not with you right?" Jupiter wags his tail in excitement as Wendell smiles, "He's great as ever, I picked him up from his classes." I nod a bit as I then say, "You want to see Ranger?" Jupiter barks as I chuckle as we watch Jupiter going over to Booth as he looks down seeing Jupiter and getting excited as well playing with him a bit.
Back at the lab we are getting a better examination of the body as Temp says, "There are striations on the bones from animal scavenging." Daisy then suggests, "Probably rats in the subway tunnel. That explains why there's so little tissue left." The journalist then says, "Like the remains in your book Bred in the Bone." I think about the book for a moment as I don't recall any rats as Temp says, "Oh, no. Those remains were eaten by weasels, not rats. It's different genus altogether, although dentition is similar." I nod agreeing as Cam then says, "There's some kind of viscous film on the humerus and scapula." I nod, "I'll take a swab for Hodgins."
Angie then starts coming up as she says, "So other than the cancer survivor who died in Sweets's and Venus subway car, there were no other fatalities. Just a couple chimneys down some stuff falling off shelves. Really rotten luck for that poor guy." I nod sadly, "It really was." Angie then adds looking at the victim, "This one too, apparently." She then notices the journalist as she says, "Hello. I'm Angela Montenegro." Temp then says, "Oh, Ms. Iwanaga is interviewing me for a Japanese magazine." Angie was about to go for a handshake as Ms. Iwanaga bows as Angie quickly follows her lead bowing as well. She then says to Angie, "In her books, you must be Amanda." "Oh, well, I have a lot more fun than Amanda." I chuckle a bit as Temp says, "Angela, perhaps you could take Ms. Iwanaga to my office. We can discuss my book a little later." She nods, "Of course." Angie then starts leading her the way, "Right this way."
As they both make their way down Sweets comes up as we look at him. Daisy then says, "Lance. What are you doing here?" "I came to offer my services. Earthquakes can cause psychological trauma." Daisy nods, "Yes- For you, baby- What you've been through." "I'm fine, Daisy." I looked at him and said, "Sweets, we both saw somebody die. And I know how you feel when seeing someone die in your eyes for the first time." Daisy nods as she says, "I know my Lancelot. You needed to see me didn't you?" She tries going up to him as he takes a step back explaining, "I'm just trying to do my job." She looked a bit hurt as she nods a bit, "Oh."
Temp then says, "Booth and Ven told you to go home. They know about things like this, Sweets." I nod as I then say trying to make him a bit better, "We'll call if we need you, I promise. We'll have Hodgins drive you home." Sweets just nods as he then leaves down the steps to go with Hodgins as Daisy then says, "Bye, Lancelot." Sweets just waves without a word and leaves. Temp then says, "Note the victim's clavicle." Cam then adds seeing the screen, "It's dented." Daisy adds, "And blue." I then notice something else, "There's also a blue nick on the C7. Which means that something blue pierced his clavicle and went through to the back of his neck." Cam then says, "That would have sliced through the carotid artery." Temp then tells Daisy, "Ms. Wick, take molds of the clavicle for a possible weapon." I then add, "And I'll swab the blue pigment and test what it could be." Everyone nods as we all get to work.
Daisy seemed to find something as I go up to the platform and meet Temp there as well also having some new information as Daisy explains, "There, in the corocoid process. At first, I thought it was some kind of mineralized connective tissue, but then I remembered, in your book, Dr. Reichs is confounded by the anomalous 13th rib." Temp nods as she then says, "Note how you are able to retain the important facts from the book." Cam just asks not understanding, "And... what does all of this mean?" Daisy smiles, "It's definitely a tooth. I tested it. A canine." We walk up to the body as she points out, "And look here. He's missing his canine." I nod, "Someone extracted his tooth and surgically implanted it in his scapula?"
Cam then asks, "Okay, if that's his tooth, what's that in the middle of it?" I looked at the tooth and explained, "Modified osteo-odonto-keratoprosthesis." Cam nods, "Of course. It's a new surgery to restore sight." Daisy looked confused as she asks, "In your shoulder?" I nod explaining it to her, "They used the tooth as an anchor for a prosthetic lens." She nods understanding as she concludes, "So the victim was blind." I nod as Temp says, "This is a rare operation. We should contact ophthalmologists in the area. One of them can probably I.D. the victim." I nod as I then say, "Great now that we have that part figured out, I have some findings myself. I identified the blue substance on his bones as a polymer. Paint or rubber. Maybe dye." Hodgins then comes in very quickly hearing what I said, "I'd like to go searching for rat poop."
We looked at him as Cam nods, "Of course you'd like that." I nod as Temp says, "Yes. The victim was eaten by rats in the subway tunnels." Daisy adds, "Rat excrement will contain not only inorganic clues, but digested remains from the victim. That could give us time of death too." I nod and look at Hodgins, "Go ahead Hodgins. Look for your poop." "I'll need some help." We all then point to Daisy as I say, "We might have the same degree in a field but doesn't mean that I fancy looking for poop as much as you do." He nods and looks at Daisy, "You seem to know your poop." Daisy just smiles as they leave to get the materials, they need before leaving.
Daisy had come back from her trip as Cam, and I went to Angie's room as well as she got a hit on who the victim was. She brings out a picture as she explains, "Martin Aragon. Thirty years old. Lives in Kingman Park." Daisy adds, "His eye surgeon identified him." "He's a scribe." Cam looks at her confused, "I beg your pardon?" "Seriously. He wrote letters for a living. His business partner's name is Sophia Meade." I then say, "He must write some nice touching letters then." Angie nods as Daisy then says, "I don't like today one bit. This man was on the verge of maybe having his sight returned, and Lance's dead friend from the subway just found out he was cured of leukemia." I nod a bit understanding as Cam says, "Yeah, it's ironic." Daisy shakes her head, "With all due respect, that's not irony. People may think it's irony, but it's really just a- unfortunate juxtaposition of events."
I smile a bit as Angie then says, "Well, guess they're gonna need a shorter word for that." Daisy nods agreeing. Later on, I went to the bone examination room as we were setting up the clean skeleton onto the table as Daisy then hands Temp the skull as she blurted out, "I'm very worried about Lance." She then walks around Temp adding, 'I didn't mean to say that out loud. I just thought it so hard that it popped out of my mouth." I nod a little as Temp says, "Apology accepted." "That guy dying right in front of him really freaked him out. He's very sensitive. Not inured to death and mortality like you, Venus and I are." I could tell Temp didn't want to talk about that anymore as she quickly says, "The pattern of this pitting- I believe it resulted from blowback." I look at the skull seeing what she was looking at as Daisy asks, "From gunshot?" I nod, "Most likely. The victim was shot with a gun, and he was standing in front of something glass." Temp adds, 'Which shattered and blew back into his skull." Daisy then continues, "Then the bullet must have been blue. Are there such things as blue bullets?"
I wanted to answer as I could see Temp give a look at Daisy as she says, "That's for me to find out. Right?... Yes. 'Cause that's my job." She walks away from earshot as I say to Temp, "I could've answered that." "I want her to learn." I nod understanding letting it be. I then went over to Hodgin's workspace with Cam as we see a board with different evidence posted onto it as he explains to us, "I put together a timeline made out of rat poop." I nod seeing it clearly as Cam says, "And now I'm in a sixth-grade science fair." Hodgins continues explaining, "The oldest poop containing human remains dates from seven days ago. Now, I also found this." We walk over to the screen seeing a small material as I ask, "Is that the color that was found on the bones?" He nods, "Mm-hmm. The same sub-micrometer blue polymer base material. Now I'm running a scan of companies that manufacture it... to see if it's ever been used for ammunition. And... check this out. Also found this."
He switches evidence as we see a leather as Cam asks, "Is that leather?" Hodgins nods, "Mm-hmm. It's a piece from the sole of a shoe." "The victim's?" "No. His we matched with D.N.A. This leather was found in a rat's stomach, along with bits of the victim. They were ingested at the same time." I smile a bit, "This could have come from whoever killed Martin Aragon." Hodgins smiles as well nodding as Cam then says, "What do you know? King of the lab." Hodgins and I looked at Cam shocked as he says, "Wow. That's a first. Usually, I have to say it." "Yes, but I wanted to hear how it sounded with a touch of modesty." I chuckle a little, "Well, it was very modest." "Thank you." Cam and I both leave Hodgin and let him continue on his work.
Temp and I are walking in town towards the dinner as she explains to us about her interview, "All anyone cares about are the characters." Booth then says, "Oh, it's what they relate to, you know. It makes the story real." I nod agreeing as Temp counters his statement, "No, the facts make it real. They're indisputable." "Well, if you believed that, you wouldn't write it as well as you do." I then add, "Well, Angela helps temp with those scenes." Booth looked surprised, "What?" Temp nods, "Angela helps me." We all stop in front of the door as he asks, "Page 187?" Temp and I both answer, "Angela." Temp then goes in first as she adds, "Though I'm anxious to try it." I chuckle at her a bit as I follow inside with Booth behind us.
Angie and I worked on a simulation that delt with the bullet with the information Daisy has given us as Cam and Hodgins were in the room as I begin explaining as Angie plays the simulation, "This a Quasar safety slug. It was designed to disintegrate so it won't ricochet after it hits its target." Daisy asks confused, "So it's a safe bullet?" Cam adds, "Not for the person it hits. Just anyone else in the room." Angie then points out, "Now, this is a thin coating of blue polymer." Daisy then says, "That must be what left marks on the clavicle and C7." Cam then states, "Perhaps, 'cause the ammunition's so rare, we could trace buyers." I shake my head a bit, "Well, were not done yet, now turning our attention to the glass fragments embedded in the back of our victim's head- " Cam continues it, "The bullet exited the victim, shattered a glass object behind him before disintegrating."
Angie nods, "Right. The angle of applied force was 28 degrees. So if I extend the incidence lines, the point of intersection was here." She puts up an image and the estimations on where it would be located as she continues, "Which means he was standing between 45 and 60 centimeters... in front of the glass object when he was shot." Cam nods, "Okay. Then we find where he was killed." Hodgins then says, "Well, we're still not done." Angie then brings up photos taken when Daisy and Hodgins went to find rat poop as Daisy says, "Hey! Those are my photographs from when Dr. Hodgins and I went to find the rat poop." I try not to chuckle as Cam says, "Let's not get emotional, Miss Wick."
Hodgins continued, "Okay, so, we need to find glass fixtures that contain borosilicate." He then points to one of the images and has Angie zoom in, "We find that here." Angie then adds, 'Now, I scanned for color frequencies on the wall... where the bullet would've disintegrated. The blue polymer emits about 420 nanometers." It zooms in highlighting the area where the victim was shot as Cam says, "You found where he was murdered. " Hodgins then says, "He was lured into this tunnel, and he was shot." Daisy then adds, "Let the record show that my photographs were invaluable to the process." We all just looked at her as she asks, "There's no record, is there?" I shake my head, "Sorry, Daisy..."
Booth, Temp and I went to the Ex-boyfriend of Officer Grant as he owns a pawn shop alongside Ms. Iwanaga as we enter, she says, "This is a pawn shop- like the one in your first book, when Dr. Reichs and Agent Andy... removed their clothes in a two-man submarine." I smile nodding a bit recalling that scene as Temp says to her, "The pulverized acromion is the important part of that book." Booth then says, "Well, you know what? I like the sub." We see the owner of the Store Eddie as he says to us, "I can hardly wait to see what you four are looking for." Booth shows Eddie his badge as Eddie then says, "Come on. You gotta be kidding me." Booth then asks, "You own a gun, Mr. Ceraficki?" "Of course I own a gun. It's a pawn shop. Never have to use it. I wave it around from time to time, but-"
Temp then complains, "Why is he allowed to carry a gun... after being arrested on a concealed charge?" Eddie looks at her, "That was a mistake. I accidentally put it in my pocket, you know, when I left work." Booth then asks, "Can we see the gun please?" Eddie nods and goes over behind the counter going to take it out, "She's right over here." Booth then takes out his gun as I just leave mine alone as he says pointing at Eddie, "Uh-uh, uh-uh. Real easy there, pal. We don't want any sudden movements. No mistakes. That's it." Eddie raises his hands holding the gun above as well as Ms. Iwanaga says, "That is very sexy. Big Andy with a gun protecting Kathy." I snicker a bit as Temp says, "No, no, no. He is not Andy, and I'm not Kathy." Ms. Iwanaga then looks at me, "You're based on Dr. Reichs younger strong bold sister Gabby." I rub my neck a bit as I give her a small smile, "I suppose..." "It says that she always carries a gun with her, you don't?" "Uh, well... I'm not Gabby herself but I do carry a gun as well." I move my shirt showing her the gun that is on my side hip.
Ms. Iwanaga nods as Temp then says pointing at Booth, "It's even more exciting when he shoots someone with it." Eddie puts the gun down on the counter as Booth looks at her as I snicker a bit, "Bones." Temp shrugs, "Well, it is, Booth. And impressive. Neither does he nor Ven misses." Ms. Iwanaga then says, "Andy sometimes misses." "Yes. See?" Booth checks the gun seeing that it was unloaded with no bullets, "Sorry about that pal." Eddie shrugs, "I get it. Cop's gotta be careful." Booth them points at the box of ammo, "See that box of ammo right there?" The two looks at each other for a few seconds as Eddie then proceeds grabbing it and putting it on the counter opening it. It reveals the blue bullets as Temp says, "Aha! Gotcha, dirtbag!" Eddie looked confused, "Got me for what?" Booth and I looked at Ms. Iwanaga as I say, "Don't write that." She looked at me as Booth says as well, "Don't write 'dirtbag." She nods as I looked at Temp amused as Booth had a 'really' look on his as Temp says, "What? Got him."
Booth had gone and took Eddie. to interview him as Tempa and I wait. Turns out the person who has the gun was Officer Grant after Eddie gave it to her as a romantic gift. Booth had got a warrant to check her apartment and shoes as we see her coming over to us in the conference room. Booth then says, "Officer Grant, thanks for coming in. Can I have your sidearm, please?" She does so as she asks, "What's this about?" Booth explains, "Well, we got a warrant to, uh, search your apartment." Booth unloads the gun taking out the ammo as he tells her, "Have a seat, please." She does so as he continues explaining, "We, uh, found Eddie's gun." He then reads the writing written on the gun, "Says, 'You can arrest me anytime. Eddie." I then speak, "You're a law-enforcement professional. Why would you keep the murder weapon?" "I am a law enforcement professional, and if you had any evidence that wasn't circumstantial, you'd have arrested me. So I guess I'll be leaving. It's been a pleasure."
She stands up and begins to leave as Booth then says, "Uh, hold on for one second, please." She stops turning around as Booth then says, "We also have a warrant for your shoes." "My shoes?" Temp takes out the leather evidence as Grant asks, "What's that?" "Leather, we found with victim's tissue... inside a rat. If we can match this leather to your shoes, it'll show that you were there when the victim died." We then could see her face showing that she was emotional and caught as Booth says, "You please remove your shoes, Officer Grant?" Grant comes back inside and takes a seat again as Booth closes the glass sliding door as she explains, "Eddie was a good guy. I just wanted a little romance, but those letters were a lie. I should have been happy with Eddie. Should have been happy with what I had." She then proceeds taking off her shoes and confessing to everything after that."
After we closed the case Temp and I went back home as Wendell came over to hang out with me and Jupiter. I tell him about the case a bit as we sit on the couch with his arm around me and Jupiter laying his head on my lap we hear a knock on the door as Temp goes over to answer it. She opens it revealing Booth as he says coming inside, "You are not going to believe this." Temp says, "Come in. You want a drink? We have some Chinese food in the refrigerator." I then say, "Hey Ranger." Wendell adds, "Hi Booth." He turns to us waving, "Hey you two. Where's Jupiter?" I answer, "Laying with us." He nods as he turns to Temp, "Uh, a drink. Scotch." Booth goes and sits down with us as Jupiter goes over with him as Temp says getting the glasses and scotch as well as water for me as she asks, "What am I not gonna believe?"
I ask, "Does it have to do with the case?" Booth nods, "Officer Grant got a lawyer." I nod seeing what wrong as Temp was says, "Well, we just arrested her for murder. I believe that." She comes over placing the glasses down pouring the scotch and handing me the water as Booth says, "Right, but Eddie- Eddie got her the best defense attorney in town." Temp sits down with us, "That is hard to believe." I nod agreeing, "Why did he do that?" Booth nods, "I know, right?" Wendell then said, "He probably heard what she did for him, and he fell in love with her all over again." Temp then says, "That is not rational." Booth then says, "You know what? Booth nods a bit then says, 'I don't believe that's true." We all nod as Temp says, "I agree. It's ridiculous." "Right? Four arms, four heads?" "Two faces." "Come on." I add, "That's what they believed." "That's rediculous." Wendell adds, "And yet Plato was a very respectable philosopher." Temp and I both nod as we continue having our discussion all together.
