"Horace, you don't understand, we have to leave." Kaz paced from the door, to the man in the doctor's coat. "You sure there's even a security threat?"

"It's hard to say. The system's very sensitive. It can be triggered by any threat, no matter how small." Horace told them, annoying the three -who had planned a surprise party- even more. "Sometimes it's triggered by things that aren't even threats at all. A summer breeze, moths, or hateful words."

"A stupid summer breeze just blew a bunch of moths in," Alan walked through the double doors, complaining as usual, "and they ate holes in my favorite vest. I hate those moths!"

"I hate you!" Micaela shouted at him as he left, Horace going the opposite way and leaving as well.

"Guys," Kaz grinned with an idea, "I just figured out how to get us out so we can go to the Domain."

"I'm not going though moths." Leo stated, pulling at his shirt to show it off. "This is new."

"We should stay." Oliver insisted. "I don't wanna get in trouble. Plus, Solar Flare's making kettle corn."

"I could go for a snack." Leo admitted, staring off to look at where Solar Flare lit fire from her hands under a bowl as some guy stirred the kettles.

"Let's just grab the bowl on the way out." Micaela stared longingly at the bowl of popcorn, holding her stomach as if it hurt.

"You have to come with us." Kaz pleaded with Oliver. "Won't be the same without you. we only have so many years to do these things together, Oliver."

"Fine, I'll go." Oliver gave in quickly.

~*~

"Guys, I don't think this is a good idea." Oliver stood nervously beside Leo, looking every way down the hall, watching out for anyone who might get them in trouble.

"Are you kidding me?" Kaz looked up from the vent him and Micaela crouched beside, using two screwdrivers -the girl had in the pocket of her letterman jacket- to one the vent way so they could leave. "This is how my brother got out of jail."

"And back in." Leo commented, earning a shrug from Kaz as Micaela opened the vent to reveal the way they would be going through. Pushing his way through his friends, Leo made his way to be in the front and go in first.

"Why are you guys leaving?" Alan came out of no where and watched the group with curious eyes as Micaela and Leo froze, only moving to look at one another.

"We're not leaving." Kaz pulled Leo out of the vent.

"Just... cleaning the vent." Micaela lied.

"Oh, so my uncle had you clean the ventilation system?" Alan asked.

"Yes." Kaz answered as Oliver answered, "no." then switched answers before finally concluding with a, "maybe?"

"Okay, you're story checks out." Alan nodded, making the four friends share a weird look, wondering how he believed them. "But watch your step, because nothing gets past me. Nothing!" He glared between the group.

"Nothing to worry about here, big man!" Leo grinned nervously, moving to Alan's side to place his hand on his shoulder and lead Alan down the hall. "We would never get past your smartness, in fact, no one could!" He pushed him through the door before dropping his smile as he walked back to his friends.

"Guys, forget it. I'm not doing it." Oliver decided starting to walk off.

"Oliver, come on." Micaela complained, making him stop.

"Yes, you are. This is really important to me." Kaz expressed. "So, come on."

"No!" Oliver argued, going to walk off again, but Leo jumped to the ground and grabbed him by the ankles and tried to pull him back towards the vent, but he didn't move.

"Mick!" Leo yelled, still pulling.

The girl took the signal and grabbed Oliver by the arm, pulling him towards the vent, only to have her hands smacked away. "No! I don't wanna go, stop pressuring me." He got his friends to let go of him, Leo getting to his feet. "All you guys ever do is think about yourselves."

"If you come with us, I think you'll be surprised how not true that is." Kaz stated. "Come on, if you wanna ask Horace for permission, we'll go ask him. He's right though here." He pointed towards the vent.

"You cool if we leave?" Micaela called into the vent.

Leo his behind the girl so his mouth wasn't visible as spoke in a terrible Horace impression. "Why of course not. And don't forget! I love bridges!"

Glaring between each one of his friends, Oliver's eyes then moved to the vent before turning and walking off, done with their nonsense.

"Oliver!" Micaela called out.

"Oh, come on! It's just a false alarm." Kaz complained, three of them walking after Oliver. Little did they know, Kaz's next words would turned out to be a lie. "Nothing will happen."

Their backs turned, they couldn't see Horace walking down the hallway with a stick, asking people to play limbo. At least he was, until a shadow-like creature came out of the vent and circled around him.

~*~

They all followed Oliver through the double doors and into the lobby, Kaz holding Micaela's duffel bag they had emptied out moments ago. "Oliver, listen to me."

"I'm not leaving, so drop it." Oliver finally stopped walking and turned to them with a stern look.

"I know, I know." Kaz nodded, setting the duffel on the floor. "I'm sorry."

"And we find your decision and entitlement completely annoying." Micaela stated, smiling sarcastically.

"But we completely accept you trying to make your own decision." Leo added on.

"Which is why we wrote you a very sincere apology note." Kaz told him. "It's in this duffel bag." Pointed to the bag on the floor. "Why don't you climb in and read it?"

"Wow." Oliver scoffed at them. "You'll do anything to get your way. You guys are so selfish." He turned and walked off.

"I know, I know I have been." Kaz hurried to follow him, making him stop again.

"Which is why we got you this." Leo jumped at him with a bottle. "It's cologne, smell it, breathe it in." He held it up to his face as Oliver backed away.

"A cologne called anesthesia?" Oliver questioned, pushing Leo's hand back.

Leo stopped, turning the label to himself to read it. "You had one job." He turned to Micaela who pulled on her earlobe with a 'whoops' look.

Kaz scoffed, taking the bottle from Leo. "It's pronounced Anastasia."

"It's too late." Leo shook his head at him.

"You have not been absorbed." A deep voice caught their attention, making them look up to see Horace behind Oliver. "You must be absorbed."

"Like by the sun?" Micaela questioned in confusion.

"That's evaporate." Oliver corrected her, turning to take a look at Horace. "You notice anything different about Horace?"

"Has He always had that little beard?" Kaz asked.

"You must serve Revengence, he will be your master."  Horace said in the same deep voice, stepping towards them as their eyes widened, the four of them backing away slowly.

"Hey, did you get a haircut?" Leo grinned at him nervously, grabbing onto Oliver and Micaela to push them in front of him. "It's working!"

"Leo, don't lie to them man." Micaela muttered to him, holding tightly onto Leo's sleeve.

"Oh, no. Guys, do you remember the villain Revengence?" Oliver asked, holding onto Kaz and Leo's arm. "That's probably why there was a lockdown. Revengence is trying to sneak into Mighty Med. and you let him in when you opened the vent. And now he's taking control of Horace."

"But that's impossible. Revengence was disembodied." Kaz justified.

"You must serve Revengence, he will be your master." Leo repeated the words Horace had said. "Seems pretty possible to me!"

"He's just a black cloud now." Kaz continued. "I don't see any black clouds around here."

"It's pretty sunny outside." Micaela stated.

Just then, Kaz's words were proven wrong once again. A black cloud shot into the lobby, presenting itself to the four friends, along with other employees being controlled by Revengence.

"You're jinxing the weather!" Micaela shouted at him.

"Man, I cannot catch a break today!" Kaz complained, grabbing Micaela by the wrist to drag him with her, causing her to drag Leo, causing him to drag Oliver along as they made their way around the controlled hospital employees.

~*~

Walking like drones to get past the drones, just as the kids had learned from their favorite shows had worked and they had walked through the hallway without one single droned employee trying to stop them.

"They're not chasing us." Oliver carefully whispered to his friends as they walked back into the lobby. "I think pretending to be drones is working."

"I have to hand it to these mindless freaks. They have an eye for design." Kaz observed how the main desk and the beds were all pushed to the walls, making the room seem bigger. "This room looks much more inviting."

"Okay. We have to stop Revengence before he rises again." Oliver instructed.

"Why don't we stop by the Domaina, head home, and call it a day?" Leo asked with s hopeful grin.

"I have a plan. Follow me." Kaz directed, leading the way as they walked like drones through the taken over employees. "Hey." He was greeting all the drones. "What's up? How's it dronin'?"

"Nice doctor, nice doctor." Micaela repeated as she looked down at her feet. Once they made it far enough thorough, they ran through, and ducked behind one of the four pieces of the main desk, seeing Alan underneath it, tangled in. the wires.

"Alan? You're safe." Kaz smiled proudly. "Man, it was really smart to hide here."

"Room for two more?" Leo asked, pulling Micaela with him as he tried squeezing his way under the desk with the sweater vest wearing boy.

"I'm not hiding, this is where I nap." Alan pushed Leo so he fell into Kaz's arms. The boy in the sweater vest held the wires so they didn't hit him in the face as he crawled out of from under the desk, looking over to see all the employees of the hospital walking like mindless zombies. "What's going on in here?"

"Revengeance has broken into Mighty Med to turn on the hospital's postitronic reactor." Oliver explained. "He's going to use the power from it to turn himself human again."

"That's impossible." Alan stared with a smile. "There's no way to access it unless they've gathered all nine Mighty administrators."

"Those nine Mighty administrators?" Kaz pointed out to the people who lowered down to the ground.

"Uh oh." Micaela and Leo watched, wide eyed.

"Yeah." Alan carelessly continued. "Each Of then has been implanted with one part of the access code. But they'd have to be in a specific formation that only my Uncle Horace knows."

"That specific formation?" Kaz pointed out to the way the administrators were laying on the floor.

"Uh oh." Micaela and Leo turned to one another grabbing at eachother's sleeve, the girl pulling on her earlobe.

"We have to stop Revengeance before he turns into his physical form." Oliver watched as the black cloud moved above the nine administrators.

"You mean that physical form?" Kaz pointed to the legs that were formed from the black cloud.

"What do we do? How do you stop a cloud?" Alan asked.

"Can't you just... get a vacuum?" Micaela wondered.

"Mick, you're a genius!" Oliver smiled.

"What?" The statement confused her.

"It's simple meteorology." Oliver continued. "We can use the hospital's air conditioning system to create a cold front, then turn on the sterilizing equipment that will form pockets of warm air-"

"I could go for a hot pocket." Leo nodded.

"Resulting in a low pressure system."

"Or we can use this vacuum, Oliver." Alan spoke up, him and Micaela standing on either side of the vacuum. Micaela grabbed the vacuum part, holding it out like she was sucking the black cloud up.

"Why is it in the corner?" Leo questioned, annoyed. "Always in the corner!"

"Or we can use this vacuum, Oliver." Oliver mocked him.

"What are you mad at him for?" Kaz questioned.

"I'm just in a bad place right now."

The five kids hurried and helped one another aim the long vacuum, Alan in the front to suck up the black cloud with Leo and Kaz in the back to push a button if needed. Oliver and Micaela stood behind Alan, helping to hold onto it, expecting it to be difficult to catch Revengeance.

Too bad it was more difficult than they thought. "It's not working." Alan stated. "He's too powerful."

"We need more power." Kaz and Leo shared a look before looking around the room, finding a miracle. "Serge!" Kaz exclaimed, having Leo unplug the vacuum cord from the wall and toss it to Kaz so he could place it in the mind-controlled superhero's hand.

With the additional power, the vacuum grew stronger, finally strong enough to suck up the black cloud. Holding onto the vacuum together as they caught Revengeance, the five kids successfully saved the hospital for the day.

Horace, the other employees, and the superheroes all came to their senses, looking around in complete confusion, having no clue how they even got into the room. Unlike the adults, the kids all wore smiles of pride as they looked to one another.

"We did it." Alan smiled at the four friends, being the first time Micaela had actually seen him genuinely smile. "I've never been part of a team before." His smile then disappeared. "I don't like it." And he walked away.

"There could only be one reason all nine Mighty administrators would be here." Horace circled around the administrators who were just getting up from the ground. "To limbo!" He held up a stick with a grin and he held it up as other workers walked under it.

"Yeah!" Micaela went to join.

"Watch me limbo!" Leo joined her in walking off, but they were both grabbed by the shoulders by Kaz who nudged them.

"Oh, yeah." Micaela remembered. The party. "Hey, why don't we get going?"

"Yeah, you know what I can go for?" Kaz asked rhetorically. "A nice 14 block walk through a bad neighborhood to the Domain."

"Just hold onto your wallets this time." Leo warmed them, going to walk off to the door of the hospital.

"Stop it!" Oliver scolded his friends, making their faces fall in defeat. "I don't wanna go." He was only looking at Kaz now. "Why is everything about what you want? You know, all the time, I'm always thinking, what can I do for Kaz? How can I cheer him up? How can I dislodge his head from that banister?" He explained, making Leo and Micaela slowly take small steps back. "When's the last time you did anything for me?"

"Actually, pretty recently." Kaz told him.

"Really?" Oliver glared at him. "Like when?"

"Like when I threw you a birthday party at the Domain tonight," hearing this, Oliver's smirk immediately fell, "three months early to surprise you. And no I wish I never had."

"We got a pretty good cake though." Micaela spoke up.

"Confetti." Leo nodded.

"You threw me a surprise party?" Oliver asked, eyes still on Kaz. "So that's why you guys were bossing me around and tried knocking me out with fake cologne. Because you care about me."

"Oliver, we wouldn't do that for just anyone." Leo assured him.

"And I just kept telling at you all day." Oliver looked guiltily at each of his friends. "I feel terrible. Will you ever forgive me?"

"If it means I can get to that birthday cake, yes!" Micaela immediately answered, moving to joking Oliver's side, arm around his shoulder, his around her waist.

"Rainbow sprinkles." Leo said dreamily, going to Oliver's other side.

"Nope." Kaz shook his head.

"But, Kaz." Oliver began. "We only have so a few more years to spend together and... one day you'll wake up old and alone."

"Fine, I forgive you." Kaz immediately said, opening his arms for Oliver to break apart from Leo and Micaela to hug him.

~*~

Everyone had left the Domain and been gone by the time Kaz, Oliver, Leo, and Micaela could get there and they had decided to just head on home after such a long and tiring day. Leo had passed out on the couch as soon as he walked through the front door, but Micaela needed to do something.

The wind wasn't too bad and it had definitely been a warm night, but that didn't stop the night of the trailer park from giving her chills. She wasn't there to see her mother who had been too busy working to look her daughter in the eye when she came through the door, but maybe it was better her mother didn't pay attention to her.

Then she slipped back out the door, heading past the trailers of other families and to the little lake where a few people were seen to be fishing, or sitting in a chair passed out.

"Hey, Jammy." Micaela greeted as she walked past where he was working under his car. A small hey was returned, though she didn't look back, just walked up to take a seat by a particular boy in front of the lake.

"Oh." Rory's voice showed how exhausted he was from the elevator. It wasn't being stuck in the elevator that scared him, it was the fire alarm. "You alright?"

"Yeah..." Micaela said, looking down at her knees that she hugged to her chest. Her hand reached for the Star necklace she wore around her neck. Then with her eyes not leaving the lake, she took both hands behind her neck and unclasped it.

Rory's eyes also hadn't moved from the lake, the action with the necklace going unknown to him. And he hadn't seen the uncertain loom she gave him or how she tucked the necklace away in her pocket. Only noticed how she placed a comforting hand on his shoulder, allowing him to lean on her, his head on her knee.
