January has got to be one of the most boring and depressing months out there. Since nothing much happens here following New Year's Day and winters can get really chilly (if you live in the Northern Hemisphere), chances are you'd wish for more holidays ahead.
I have made up another event on Wattpad called #MentalHugsMonth to acknowledge those who might be dealing with mental health issues and other personal troubles.
We should not alienate people because their feelings made us uncomfortable, but instead understand and listen. If society is gonna deprive them of jobs, relationships and growth, what kind of message are we sending to them? That they are not welcome and irredeemable?
This is clearly dedicated to the whole Wattpad community who inspired me throughout these times. The pandemic may not be over yet, but at least we have each other.
