-Venus POV-

We were called in as a body was found at a collage. Temp and I are examining the body as I begin speaking, "Male. Some of this costume has fused to the remains." A guy then walks over to us saying, "Uh, good morning. I'm Vernon Warner, dean of students." Booth talks for us, "Special Agent Seeley Booth. These here are Dr. Temperence Brennan and Dr. Venus Brennan from the Jeffersonian." Temp then says, "There is a lot of damage to this body." The other officer points at the cannon, "They had a cannon. More like a blunderbuss, really. Filled to the brim with bric-a-brac and sharpnel." Mr. Warner then says, "Yeah, look, I suspect, that this might be a prank." Temp and I ask, "A prank?" Booth says, "Well, it's a college, Blueberry, Bones." "I suspect that one of our less reflective frat houses may have stolen these remains from the, uh, medical school." The officer then hands booth a file, "Beta Delta Sigma. I got a missing cadaver report yesterday." Booth then says to us, "Tell you what, Bones, Blueberry, when I was in college, my frat, we stole a cadaver, dressed it up like Caesar and put it on a statue of a horse." I ask, "Why?" Temp asks, "Would this by any chance be a fraternity of sociopaths?" Mr. Warner then says, "But if the Betas did do this, I will withdraw their certification."

Booth reads the report, "Stolen cadaver was male, 73 years old. His snowmobile fell through the ice. Donated his body to science." Mr. Warner nods, "Yeah, snowmobilers and motorcyclists are our main source of cadavers." I then say, "It's not him. The third molar has not fully erupted. I'd be surprised if he was older than mid-20s." Mr. Warner asks, "So this is not the missing cadaver?" Temp then says, "I think you'll find your missing medical school cadaver is over there." Booth asks, "Where?" "Sitting on the bleachers. He hasn't moved since we got here." The officer then says, "No, that's just campus security. They're always like that. But I'll go check it out." We nod as Mr. Warner asks, "So if he is not a stolen cadaver, then, uh... He wasn't alive when our students shot him with the cannon was he?" I shrug, "We won't know cause of death until we get him back to the lab." We then hear the officer say to us, "Yeah, she's right. It's your cadaver. He reeks of formaldehyde." Booth then says, "Okay. Let's get it all back to the Jeffersonian, shall we?"

I was in my office with Temp as we got the identification and information of the victim as I called up Booth and put him on speaker. We waited as he answers, "Booth." I then say, "Hello. Angela identified the boy in the otter suit." "Well, that was quick. Just give me a second." Temp then asks, "Are you talking to us?" "No, I'm talking to my brother. Just give me one minute... Look, hey, I'll help you find a job?" I then say, "I need a job?" I look at Temp as she shrugs as we hear Booth again, "Yeah. I'm back." Temp then says, "The student walk-in dentist was able to provide dental records. Venus has emailed you the particulars." I then say, "The victim is James Bouvier. But his friends called him 'Beaver." Temp adds, "I assume because of his last name, which is Bouvier." Booth then says, "Yeah, I'm sure that's why." She then adds, "Although, despite the similar sound, 'bouvier' means ox, not beaver." I nod continuing, "Beaver is 23 years old and a member of the Beta Sigma fraternity." Booth then says, "Yeah, that's not a coincidence." Temp then adds, "Statistically, given the size of the campus, it could be a complete coincidence that the murder student is also a member of the group of sociopathic young male cadaver thieves." Booth says, "Statistically, maybe. But this is not math class, okay, Bones? Just meet me at Middlesex College in 30 minutes."

Booth only took Temp this time as I was up on the platform with Hodgins and Arastoo taking objects out of the body. Hodgins was sorting them while we take the objects out as he says, "This is a commemorative pin from the Chinese Olympics." Arastoo says, "It was in what's left of the victim's liver." "Ball bearing. All this stuff is extremely common. Nails, screws, bolts, washers, keys..." Arastoo then asks, "What is this?" He places it down onto the tray as Hodgins and I looked as I say, "It may be a USB drive." "What kind of people do this? Perforate human remains with household commonalities and refuse." Hodgins comments, "Gee, I don't know. Every bomber who ever lived." Arastoo looks at him, "Did you make that comment simply because I am Muslim?" Hodgins looked at him, "You serious? Of course." Arastoo started naming some bombers, "Timothy McVeigh, Ted Kaczynski, William Ayres..." I add, "Don't forget of Mr. George P. Metesky- known as the original Mad Bomber." Arastoo nods, "Yes, amazing example Director Brennan." I smile, "Thank you, but please just call me Venus or Dr. Venus. Don't want to get confused with my sister." He nods as he then looks at the body, "Seems an insurmountable task, this. Each of these could have been the cause of death, and yet we will not be able to trace its..."  I watch as he pulls out a bullet as Hodgins asks, "Trace its...? What?" He turns around as Arastoo finishes while placing the bullet down onto the tray, "... origin. This is a bullet." I looked at it, "It's a .22 caliber." "A bullet says 'I wish to kill you' much more clearly than an Olympic pin. Can we agree?" We nod.

Later on Temp came back to the lab as Booth went to talk to the frat club with Sweets. But when they came back, they explained to us about the board and how it indicated how many girls they sleep with as Temp asks, "They keep track of sexual conquests with stars on the wall?" Sweets says, "It's emotionally stunted." Booth then says, "Guys, it's a college fraternity." I then say, "They seem like really terrible people." We enter Temp's office as Booth adds, "They're college kids, okay? Their job descriptions is to be bad. It's what they do." We take a seat as Sweets says, "Yeah, but still. A community of young men mutually supporting bad decisions?" "Look, these kids, they go out into the world, they're alone. They have no supervision. They have to be bad in order to figure out what it is. Scientific fact, their frontal lobes are the size of raisins." Temp and I say, "No, that is not a scientific fact." "What they got to do is build their frontal lobes with exercise, okay? And that comes from doing the wrong thing." Sweets then begins to speak, "Okay. So, your theory is, you got to be bad to be good?" Booth nods, "Exactly. Facts of life, my friend. Okay, so what transmissions did you get from the brothers?" 

Temp then says, "Booth, he is not a radio." "Well, he kind of is. That's why I brought him along, Bones." I shake my head playfully as Sweets just speaks, "What I did observe, using my eyes and my training, is that these three frat brothers weren't actually upset about Beaver's death." Temp asks, "How do you know?" "Well, real grief comes and goes in waves. These guys had their faces set in sadness the whole time. They were lying." "I believe you're just guessing." Temp smiles as Sweets looks at her in disbelief. I just look between the two of them as Booth says, "Oops." Sweets just sighs and stands up, "Okay... Fine. I'm a Magic 8 Ball." I then say, "I think you hurt his feelings." Sweets leaves as Temp says, "But... Did you believe him?" Cam then comes in with the bullet report, "The bullet Arastoo found in the victim's remains was a .22 caliber. Light and relatively undamaged." I ask, "Lower-pressure rimfire cartridge." Booth looks at the file, "Yeah, it is." Cam adds, "Which is consistent with ROTC small arms. Booth went to get our suspect and his gun as Temp and him were inside the interrogation room as I watch from the other room. Booth cocks the gun as he asks, "So, you recognize this pistol?" "Yes, sir. It's a Beretta U22 Neos, LR with a six-inch barrel, ten-round capacity, low-blade front sights and adjustable rear sights. I'm in ROTC. I know my weapons." Booth adds, "Well, you should know this one particularly well because it was last signed out to you." 

Temp adds, "FBI ballistics has ascertained that this gun fired this bullet." "Where did you find the bullet?" "In Beaver's corpse." "Beaver's dead?" Booth then says, "He's catching on pretty good." "Wait, I never shot Beaver." "Did you fire this gun at the rally?" "Yes, sir, I did, but I loaded it with blanks. That was beaver hanging in the Otter mascot outfit?" Temp looks at Booth, "He's quite adept at putting the puzzle together." "What was Beaver doing in there?" Booth then tells him, "Well, we were hoping that maybe you would be able to tell us." "Look, I told you. I loaded the gun with blanks." "Did you check the chamber?" "I think so." Temp then says, "Well, obviously, you are either careless or you intended to fire the bullet." "Or somebody, you know, sabotaged me. Beaver had to be hanging up there for at least an hour before... No way that Beaver was still alive when I fired, right?" The two just stared at him as he adds, "I had no idea it was Beaver. I had no reason to shoot Beaver." Booth then brings up, "Except for the fact that he slept with your girlfriend." "Uh, I don't... I don't want to sound conceited but look at Beaver. Look at Molly. Look at me." After the interrogation we went to the college. We found Molly at the carnival set up as we asked her about her intercourse relationship as she asks, "Me and Beaver? Sexually? Do I look like a blow-up doll?" Temp then says, "Beaver told his fraternal brothers that he had sex with you." "Yeah? Well, he lied. Look, I'll give you DNA or whatever you want. And then you can do me a favor and broadcast the results across the campus." Booth nods, "Thanks."  We walk away as Booth tells us, "We don't have anything to compare her DNA to." Temp then says, "I have an idea."

We are in the car as Temp tells her idea to us as Booth says, "We're going to collect his sheets off his bed?" Temp nods, "Yes. And then we will check them for DNA, see if he had sexual intercourse with Molly Briggs." "Right. Who's going to check the kid's sheet? Seems like a bad job to me." Temp and I nod. We made it to his fraternity frat house as we see the guys covered in nothing but bed sheets doing some sort of ritual as one of them says, "Members of Beta Delta Sigma, I ask that you form in your mind your favorite image of our fallen brother, Jimmy 'the Beaver' Bouvier." The guys cheer as Temp and I looked confused as Temp asks Booth, "Why are they all wearing bedsheets?" "It's a toga memorial." They continue, "And with that image firm in your mind, Mm-hmm. I say, drink!" They all cheers and drink their shots." I just stand right next to Booth as Temp steps up a bit as she says, "Excuse me? Did one of you take the sheets from Beaver's room? 'Cause that room is sealed for evidence and you will be prosecuted." Booth then says, "Good one, Bones. Now no one's going to admit to having Beaver's sheets." I then say, "Then, we'll have to take them all."  The smaller one of the groups says looking at me, "Uh, you can take mine, hot chick." The other guy says, "Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Hey, you heard them, boys. Give them your sheets." We watch them undress as Booth quickly covers my eyes as I say, "What's going on?" Temp then says, "Why did you cover her eyes?" Booth says, "It was a natural reaction all right. I don't want her to see this. We'll meet you back at the lab, okay?" Booth then starts dragging me away with his hands still covering my eyes as we left the house, with Temp to grab their sheets.

Hodgins and I tested the sheets as Temp comes up the platform, "So, were you able to match sheets with boys?" I nod as Hodgins says, "Believe me, there was enough DNA on these sheets to paint a very clear picture of life at Beta Delta Sigma." I nod, "For example, these two guys were carrying on a sexual relationship with each other."  "Yeah, those two guys are sleeping with the same girl. Although, refreshingly, not at that same time." Temp asks, "What about Beaver?" Hodgins answers, "Oh, lots and lots of DNA." I add, "All of it his own." Temp asks, "So, there was no DNA on any of the sheets that could be Molly Briggs'?" I nod, "Vaginal contributions were found on eight of the sets of sheets. None from Molly Briggs. But Hodgins did find something more than semen on Beaver's sheets." "Yeah, I found evidence of vegetable-based Lanol, assorted liposomes, Sepigel, and micronized estriol." I then say, "Ointment." "From the stain's position on the sheet and its shape, which was approximately three inches long by one and one-quarter inch wide..." I elbow him as he stopped as he then says, "... the substance appears to have transferred from the victim's penis directly to the bedsheet."

Temp speaks, "Adolescent males will use almost any available lubricant when masturbating." I ask, "Even estrogen cream?" Hodgins adds, "A more plausible scenario has got Beaver sexing it up at a different location then coming home to his own bed naked and, I refer again to the imprint." Temp says, "Sex with... An older woman. Yeah. Yeah, most likely menopausal. Molly Briggs is 20." Cam comes up the platform, "I finished my autopsy and the bullet shot by Greg Harmalard was definitely not cause of death." Temp asks, "He was dead when it struck him?" "For at least 12 hours." "So, we still have no cause of death." Hodgins then says, "Well, I got a theory. Kid died oof dehydration. Forgot to replenish his fluids." Temp went back with Booth to Beavers room to find anything that would help identify the older woman he was sleeping with.

When they came back, they found that Beaver was a bookie and so we had Angela decode the notebook that Beaver used. So we are in her office as she says showing us her computer, "Well, Booth mostly broke the code." Booth nods, "That's right." "Column one is initials and nicknames. Beaver had approximately 50 regular clients. Column two is the day of the week." Temp then asks, "What is the significance of this sequence? 'Foot, bat, pig, dimple, fish." Booth answers, "Those are sports he took bets on. Football, basketball, baseball, soccer, golf." Angie continues, "Beaver had over $2,000 in the suitcase. This whole operation generated $12,000 this year." "Wow. No wonder this kid did not want to lose academic standing." "All right, now, three of these people- Zimmer, CC, and 4x4- they all owed him over three grand apiece." I ask, "Do you think that could be motive?" Booth then says, "I bet those are the three guys Sweets said were faking grief." Angie nods, "Yeah, that is worth looking into. Okay, I found something else in his computer. A month ago, he hacked into the university's computer system, and went straight to the chemistry professor's secure server and downloaded the exam." Booth adds, "This guy was a true entrepreneur." "Yeah. It was the third time he hacked into the chemistry page." I ask, "Who was the professor?" "Uh... Professor Marlene Twardosh." Booth then says, "Well..."

I was walking around the lab doing some runs and checks around the lab as I then get pulled away. I look seeing it was Hodgins as I say, "Why hello? Why are you kidnapping me?" "We're doing an experiment." I smile, "Really? What is it this time?" "Well, we are trying to see how much a fall the victim took to get those fractures. And we need your tech skills to create a trajectory that will determine the height of the fall." "Okay. I can do that. Is Arastoo joining us?" "Yes." "Great I will need him to get something that is about the same weight as the victim." "All right." After an hour and a half, I finished setting things up as Arastoo was on the second floor with our dummy. Hodgins asks, "This dummy is exactly the same weight as the victim, correct?" "69.853 kilograms, yes. And why are we the only ones here?" "Oh, I, uh, asked everyone to leave." I then say, "I've installed force sensors in the wrists and the back of the spine. So we should be able to gauge the height from which the victim fell to within a few centimeters after only a few trials."

Arastoo then asks Hodgins, "Why did you ask everyone to leave? Are we doing something shameful?" I shake my head, "No, I approved this." Hodgins adds, "It's just... last time I dropped something from up there, it bounced and injured an... innocent bystander." I add, "Yeah, this innocent bystander taught him a really important lesson that day." Hodgins shivers a bit nodding, "Yes they did. But nobody's here this time so..." He presses the record button, "Coccyx test number one, Dr. Jack Hodgins and..." I speak, "Dr. Venus Brennan supervising..." We then hear Cam walking over to us, "No. No, no, no. This is an unnecessary experiment, and you also know that Venus could easily be swayed by an interesting experiment and building things." I nod agreeingly as Cam continued, "The height of the fall can be calculated mathematically." Arastoo then says, "That is true, but I decided to humor Dr. Hodgins so we could bond over a project." "Why do you need to bond?" "He mistrusts Muslims." We looked at Hodgins as he nods as Cam says, "Go grab a beer together, but I am saying no to this experiment." I rub my head disappointedly. 

Even though I am Cam's boss, I always consider her opinion. She is like my secondhand woman, when I need some sort of advice. Hodgins then says to her, "Yeah. I got that during the part where you said 'No' seven times in a row." "I find that you don't pay attention to the first six." "He can't drink beer. He's Muslim!" Cam then grabs my collar pulling me away from the boys as I wave at them sadly as we head to Angie's workspace. I give Angie all the estimates as she says, "All right. You, Hodgins, and Arastoo have an estimate of how far the victim fell." Cam reads, "1.37 meters onto a hard surface." We all stand up straight as Angie says, "You know what this means, don't you?" I nod as I say, "I'm staying at the lab longer today." Cam adds, "And Dr. Brennan's gonna stare at the bones until they speak to her." Angie then says, "So, rock, paper, scissors to see who stays to babysit them?" Cam nods as I step back from them as they start and Cam lost as she says, "Best two out of three." They go again as she lost again, "Damn." I then say, "Were not that bad... I'll go tell her." 

Temp and I are in the boned examination room as we are looking at the bones examining each one of them carefully for about three hours. It seems Temp had found something as she says, "Cam?" Cam comes over as I look at the bone Temp was looking at as I smile as Temp tells Cam, "Booth will want to know. I found cause of death." She nods, "All right." The three of us including Angie went to the FBI headquarters into the conference room with Booth as Cam says, "Professor Twardosh was not Beaver's sex partner." Booth then says, "Okay, did anyone think that? Honestly? Because I did not." Temp then says, "Booth believes that the cringe factor was too high, even though cringe factor is not a valid mathematical construct." "Believe me, it is, okay? So, the three boys that owe Beaver the money all have alibis." Angie adds, "Four people bought the bogus exam from Beaver. All members of the golf team. At the time of his death, though, they were at a tournament in North Carolina." "Great. So all we know now is that golfers cheat a lot."

I then add, "We know that Beaver was killed by being stabbed in the chest." Cam nods, "Very small hole. Perhaps an ice pick? It punctured his aorta. He bled to death internally." Temp adds, "We also know that shortly before he died, he fell backward 1.37 meters, fracturing his wrists and his coccyx." Booth nods, "Okay, so he was stabbed and he fell backwards. That makes sense." Angie then says, "Something's bothering me about this. I went through the kid's computer, and there's absolutely no indication that he had the skill to hack into the university's secure server." Booth then says, "Yeah, well, he probably got his fraternity brothers to hack in for him." I then say, "Well Arastoo, Temp and I will figure out exactly what weapon killed Beaver." Booth nods, "Great." Temp then asks him, "What are you going to do?" "Uh, something personal." "What?" "Personal. Personal means personal, you know? Not for the public." He leaves as she says, "Well, I'm..." She then turns to us, "I'm not the public." We just nod at her.

The next day we were in Angie's workspace as Booth comes in and asks, "Hey, what do you got?" Cam speaks, "We found the hacker, who told Sweets he put some very sensitive images on a USB for Beaver." Temp adds, "A damaged USB drive was amongst the shrapnel that Mr. Vaziri removed from the remains." Angie then speaks, "There are four JPEG files on this drive. Two of them are total goners. But here's what I got from number three." She pulls up a somewhat destroyed image as Booth says, "Concentrate there. Looks like a face." Angie nods, "Yeah, that's Beaver." I then ask, "Is he being tortured?" Cam says, "Not exactly." Booth adds, "That's a sex face, Blueberry. Can you pull up anything else and see who's he's with?" Angie shakes her head, "No. But this one's almost done." She pulls up another image of a woman as Temp asks, "Is that a cougar?" Cam says, "She could be in her 40s." Booth nods, "Okay, print it. We'll see which member of the faculty this one is." We nod as Angie prints it. 

Temp and I were now up on the platform with Arastoo as he says, "There is no accelerated compression of the bone around the wound." Temp then speaks, "So, the shaft of the weapon was uniform in thickness. If there were no lip on the outside, then we'd know it was projectile that caused the wound." "Yes. a one-way trip, so to speak. But since there was a lip, we know it was a return trip for the weapon into the aorta and back. As the weapon entered, it was going substantially faster than when it was withdrawn." I the look at all the objects and picked a nail up and looked at them, "A shaft of consistent width." Arastoo asks, "Someone hammered a nail into the victim then pulled it out?" I shake my head, "No, not hammered, Arastoo. Shot." "A nail gun." I nod, "A nail gun."

We are back at the University as Booth shows Mr. Warner the photo as he asks, "You recognize this woman, Dean Warner?" "Yes, I know this woman. Where did you get the photo?" Temp answers, "Off the victim's computer." I ask, "Who is she?" "Her name is Meredith Warner. She's my wife." The three of us looked at each other as Booth decided to bring him in to the interrogation room. I watch from the other room as Booth and Temp entered as Booth begins, "We've been trying to track down your wife. Guess what?" Temp continued, "It's been a week since anyone saw her." "You think I killed my wife and James Bouvier?" "Have you seen the photographs before?" "Yes, just over a week ago. Which is when I suggested to Meredith that it was a good time for her to visit her sister in Toronto." Booth says, "Hmm, why was it a good time?" "Because the boy threatened to put the photos of them together all over the Internet if I didn't let him stay in school." Temp then says, "Beaver failed his chemistry test. You were going to expel him." He nods, "Yeah, I, uh, declined to be blackmailed." "Did the photos ever appear on the Internet?" "They did not." Booth asks, "Is that because you killed Beaver?" He shakes his head, "I have nothing more to say to you except that I did not kill the boy. I'm even a little sorry that he's dead. So, either arrest me and let me call my lawyer or let me go." Booth nods, "Okay. Vernon Warner, I am placing you under arrest for the murder of James Bouvier. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. You have the right to remain silent..."

We are in the car now as Temp says, "It doesn't make sense. I mean, logically, I mean. It doesn't make sense." I nod, "I agree." Booth says, "Yeah, I know." Temp adds, "The dean kills the kid with a nail gun, then places him in the mascot costume, that's full of leftovers?" Booth says, "I know, it doesn't make sense." "No, that's what I said." "Exactly, that's what I'm saying, too. It doesn't make sense." I then ask, "Why did you arrest him?" "Pissed me off, you know? Instead of helping us, he starts screaming for a lawyer." I nod as it went quiet. But then Booth tells us, "Jared wants me to go to India with him." Temp asks, "Indiana?" "India, okay? Taji Mahal, cows, tigers, cobras, Slumdog Millionaire." "I know." I ask, "Are you going?" "We don't like each other." "So, not going?" "But, I mean, he's my brother so, I love him." Temp then says, "I'm confused. You are going?" "I mean, Jared should not go to India alone. He'll get into all kinds of trouble." Temp then says, "You said he's never been alone." "Exactly, you know what? He'll get eaten alive." "Well, if you go with him, then he won't be alone." I add, "You won't let him be bad, and his frontal lobe will always be the size of a raisin." Temp nods, "That's what you said. Makes no scientific sense." Booth nods, "Yeah, you said. Got it."

We arrived at the lab as Arastoo was waiting for us as he starts explaining, "I did an inventory of the nails found in the victim's body. There were 36." Temp then tells him, "Arastoo, we know the nail that pierced the aorta was pulled out of the victim." "Yes, but I thought perhaps the killer didn't throw it away. Perhaps he simply left it on the body. One never knows." Booth adds, "One never does." "I examined the nails very carefully for marks that would confirm it was shot from a nail gun. A nail gun leaves distinctive marks. Not from the hammering mechanism, you understand, but from the reloading mechanism." Booth asks, "Why are you telling me this?" I take the bag that contains the nail as Arastoo says, "Dr. Brennan and Dr. Venus said to be especially polite to you when the science was difficult." We entered Temp's office as Booth asks, "How stupid do you people think I am?" I just say, "Ranger..." "Yeah? Do you recognize this nail?" I hand it to him as he looks seeing it as a star, "Whoa." We went back to the float construction with Sweets as we see the group move out of the way. Booth picks up the nail gun and climb on top of the float as we follow behind him as the students looked at us. Booth shoots it at the mascot board and takes it out handing it to me as I take a look at it. I nod as I look at Sweets as he says, "She's the one you want."  We all look at her as she closes her eyes.

Booth took her as we I watch on the other side of the interrogation room as she says, "Beaver came up to me. I was working on the float. He was always hitting one me." Booth asks, "You didn't like Jimmy?" "Not in that way, you know?" "Why did you, uh, shoot Beaver with the nail gun?" "Look, everybody went for a coffee. I stayed. Beaver must've been waiting 'cause he shows up and he's all,  'Come on, everybody thinks we're doing it. You might as well make it official.' And I've been up all night. All night, right?" Booth nods, "Working." "So, he moves in closer and sticks his tongue right in my mouth. That's assault." "Right, that is assault. You're right, it's assault. Go on." We watch Temp stands up and leaves the room. "And, you know, I've got this nail gun, and I just pull the trigger and... Beaver falls off the float onto his back and he's hurt. He's hurt with this nail sticking out of his chest and he says, 'Pull it out! Pull it out!' And I say to him, I've seen on TV, things like this, you leave it in. Leave it in! But he pulls it out himself." I look as Temp opens the door to our side as she watches the event for a moment as Booth says, "You're right. And he dies." "Everybody believed that we were sleeping together. Maybe they would believe I killed him. So, I put his body in that mascot uniform before anyone came back."

Temp then says to Sweets, "I have to admit, I'm impressed that you picked her out of the crowd. How did you do it?" He looks at her, "You're not going to believe me anyway. You're just going to say I guessed. So, have it your way. I guessed." He turns to walk away as Temp says, "No, I don't think you're serious. I'd like to know what you saw." But instead, he closes the door as I pat Temps back, "I did tell you that you hurt his feelings."

We had closed the case as I was out in the gym again training. After about twenty minutes I get a call as I stop and pick up my phone as I see it was Temp. I smile as I answer it, "Hello." "Ven, I did something bad!" I looked confused, "You did something... bad?" "Yes." "And why do you sound excited about doing something bad?" "It was thrilling, and I won't have a raisin in my frontal lobe." I start laughing, "That's good for you Temp. I am assuming that Ranger helped you?" "Yes, you should really try it out someday." "Thanks, maybe I will someday. Have fun Temp and I will see you back home alright?" "Yes, bye." She hangs up as I smile shaking my head as I feel someone grab my shoulder as I quickly grab it and spin grabbing their whole arm and throwing them over onto their backs. They groan as I see it was Wendell as I looked at him with wide eyes and quickly let him go. "Oh gosh! I'm so sorry. You surprised me and I just reacted. Are you okay?" He nods, "Yeah... I just got to remember to never scare you from behind..." I blush, "Here... Let me help you up." He takes my hand as I help him up. He then says, "I saw you training and decide to say hey. How long have you been here?" "Uh, about 25 minutes. How long have you been here, bub?" "About 15 minutes, are you going to leave now?" I shake my head, "No, I plan on continuing for another twenty minutes. Why? Do you want to work out with me again?" "Actually, yes. I would. Thanks for the offer, Doll." We laugh as I say, "Alright, let's see if you could keep up with me." He smirks, "Your so on."
