"Wake up sleeping beauty ~" I shuddered as a bucket of cold water was poured over my head.
I opened my eyes, still tired from lack of sleep. In front of my was the familiar shoes of the Joker. I felt a hand in my hair and my head get pulled back.
"All you have to do, is tell me where they are." Joker said calmly smiling.
"Fck you." I smiled and felt the stinging from being slapped by Joker.
"Women. Always so difficult." Joker spoke as he paced the room. "Batsy is also being difficult.." he grumbled in annoyance as he left the room.

I've lost count of the days already. I knew befriending them would be dangerous, but I didn't care. The Wayne boys were great people and fun to hang out with. Jason was a definite pain in the ass though, totally my least favorite. Tim was my favorite since we gamed together and he listens to my rants on Sherlock Holmes. Damian and I talked on occasion, but not often. Dick was always around as the sensible one among all of them.
One night, I got home, found my door was busted in. In Gotham, it isn't exactly a rare occurrence. I called GCPD and was told to wait, and I did. Although it was soon after I had a bag over my head and tied up, then thrown into what I assumed was a van.
When I woke up again, I was chained to the wall, and the room was empty, except for a futon looking bed in the corner. I leaned against the wall, staring up at the singular light bulb dangling from the ceiling.

"I'm starting to miss that idiot.." I thought as my mind began to wander.
"Give that back stupid!" I glared at Jason as he used his height to keep my textbooks above my head.
"Come on, just say yes and I'll give it back." He smirked down at me.
"Screw you!" I said kicking his leg, which he didn't even wince at.
"Jason, give it back." I looked behind me seeing it was Jason's older brother Dick.
"No fun." Jason scoffed and threw the textbooks onto the couch before walking away.
"What did he want this time?" Dick asked, helping my organize my textbooks by size.
"He wanted to slack off, and I said no." I said, making sure the textbooks were undamaged.
"You're here on a scholarship, right?" Dick asked and I nodded.
"Gotta keep those grades up." I sighed in relief seeing the books were undamaged.
"Ignore Jason if he's being an idiot." Dick said shrugging.
"Thanks." I smiled at his advice as we went to the large study room they had in the manor.

"What do you want?" Jason looked up at me from his desk.
"I know you have it." I crossed my arms, staring down at him.
"Have what?" He asked, leaning back in his seat.
"My phone." I replied.
"Just cause you're forgetful does not mean I took it." he argued.
"So, your saying you don't have it?" I asked.
"No, I have it." He smirked, taking my phone out of his pocket.
"What the heck, give it!" I grabbed his wrist holding my phone. He pulled his hand back, causing me to fall onto his desk.
"Personal space (Y/n), please." he smirked and I glared at him, taking my phone.
"You're so annoying." I walked back to my seat.

"Stop it." I stared at Jason's smug face.
"What?" he asked, his face turning into a frown.
"You're annoying, impulsive, and I want you to stop bothering me with your stupid pranks. I hate them, and I hate you." I told him, and he silently stared down at me.
"I'm just trying to make your boring life more fun here." he defended himself.
"My life is fine as it is without you in it." I glared at him as he tried defending himself.
"... Fine, whatever." He scoffed and walked away.
I sighed watching him walk away. "Did you do it?" I looked at Barbara and nodded.
"Don't feel bad. He has to grow up, and stop bothering you." She wrapped me in a hug.
"He's a stupid asshole, but..." I sighed and leaned my head against her shoulder as she pet my head.

"Look at this now." I turned to the door seeing it was Joker and he had a camera.
"What do you want?" I asked.
"Proof." He tossed me a new paper and took a few pictures. "Maybe this will push him more." He smiled, looking over the photos then at me. "You know, for your sake." He walked out of the room.
"Weirdo." I thought looking at the newspaper, seeing the date. "2 weeks." I mumbled, calculating the amount of days that has passed. Knowing the Joker was probably losing his patience, if he finds that I'm no longer of use to him, he will likely kill me soon.
When I woke up, on what I assume was the next day, I was in a different room. I was still chained, but the walls that surrounded me, reminded me of a swimming pool. "Shit.." I mumbled, having a good idea on what was about to happen. I looked around me, above me, anywhere to indicate if this was going to be what I thought it was, and it wasn't long before a hose was thrown down from above. I could hear Joker laughing in the distance and the sound of a door closing. "You maniac!" I yelled as the water flowed down to my feet. I was locked down on the deep end of a pool so the water here would fill up first before anything else, and taking my height and the length of the chain into account, I'd definitely be under by the time the shallow parts starts to fill.
"Think, think think.." I mumbled, looking around to see if there was anything I could use to break the chains, drain the water or anything of the sort.

"No, leave him to us. Go find (Y/n)." Dick told Jason as he followed the others in chasing after Joker. Given that putting Jason and Joker in the same place was just asking for a disaster.
Jason immediately left the large annex building and looked around.
"Oracle, any clues?" Jason asked as he climbed up the annex.
"There's power being used at the abandoned swim school in the neighborhood." Oracle spoke through the ear piece.
"On my way." Jason redirected his course, without hesitation.
Easily breaking open the front door of the abandoned school, Jason ran down the dark halls towards the only room the had light. "Please.. please be in time." Jason thought as he reached the door and looked at the lock and chains that kept the door closed. Since it wasn't a high quality lock, Jason easily shot it, breaking it.
Pulling the chains off the door and finally pushing it open, Jason saw the hose and the nearly filled pool. "No-" Jason mumbled and hurriedly ran to the pool, and jumped in. Immediately spotting (Y/n) unmoving as their hands and feet were chained down.
Knowing a bullet would be of no help underwater, Jason swam over and easily picking open the locks, grabbing (Y/n) and going up to the surface.
Pulling (Y/n) out of the water, Jason started checking for a heart beat. "Oracle, call an ambulance!" Jason quickly reported as he heard no heart beat or breathing. Jason quickly tilted (Y/n)'s head back, pinched their nose and blew air into their mouth. After that he started chest compressions, and did so continuously. "Come on, come on!" Jason continued, hoping he wasn't too late. After about 4 reps, Jason was close to losing hope when (Y/n) began to cough. After coughing up the water they had swallowed, Jason relaxed, tightly holding onto (Y/n)'s hands.
"In here!" Jason heard the sound of medics in the hall. Knowing that he can't be seen with (Y/n), especially as Red Hood, lightly kissed (Y/n)'s hand and left before the medics arrived.

(Y/n) has been in the hospital for a few days, and was finally allowed visitors. Jason went to visit every night, since (Y/n) said they didn't want Jason in their life. "Dick said you're being discharged soon." Jason whispered, putting his helmet down by his feet. "... I'm sorry for being an asshole. For teasing you, annoying you, bothering you." He whispered, holding (Y/n)'s hand. "You're annoyed face, embarrassed face, even when you were angry at me, it was adorable.." He smiled pressing his forehead against the back of (Y/n)'s hand. "I'm too much of a coward to tell you this when you're awake. But.. I really... really like you." Jason smiled as he whispered, staring at the bed. "Pathetic right?" He asked, not expecting an answer.
"You're definitely pathetic." Jason looked up seeing that (Y/n) was awake.
"How much.. did you.. When did you wake up?" Jason asked.
"When you opened my window." (Y/n) smiled at him.

"You'll be discharged in the morning." Dick said, pulling up a chair next to my bed.
"I see.." I mumbled, fiddling with my blanket.
"Upset Jason never showed?" Dick asked.
"N-No, why would I want to see that twerp.." I looked out the window, away from Dick.
"He was also very worried about you." Dick informed me. "I recommend sleeping late today." Dick smiled and left my room since visiting hours were over.
I was confused but did as Dick suggested. I stayed up pretty late, playing on my phone, and it eventually was 2 A.M. I yawned and decided it was time to sleep. Just as I was about to fall asleep, I heard my window open, immediately terrified thinking it may be Joker or another villain.
I heard the sound of the window closing, shades getting closed, and a chair being pulled over. "Dick said you're being discharged soon." I recognized the voice as Jason and a soft thud of something being put on the floor. "... I'm sorry for being an asshole. For teasing you, annoying you, bothering you." I felt a clothed, maybe gloved hand holding my own. "You're annoyed face, embarrassed face, even when you were angry at me, it was adorable.." I felt something soft and cool touch the back of my hand. "I'm too much of a coward to tell you this when you're awake. But.. I really... really like you. Pathetic right?" I heard him whisper. I turned my head to look at him more clearly.
"You're definitely pathetic." I said and he looked up at me in surprise.
"How much.. did you.. When did you wake up?" he asked me
"When you opened my window." I smiled.

I was waiting for Jason outside of the hospital. We agreed last night that it was too late last night and we should talk properly when I got discharged. It wasn't long before Jason drove up in his car. I laughed a bit seeing he had his hair slicked back in gel, and he was in a nice buttoned shirt and dress pants.
"What's this for?" I asked as he opened the passenger doo for me.
"Dressing to impress?" He asked, as if it was obvious.
I couldn't help but laugh as I stepped into the car. When Jason got in himself, he was completely flushed red. "I appreciate the effort, but the way you usually dress is better." I smiled as we drove away from the hospital.
We returned to Wayne Manor for my discharge party, and Jason parked the car in the garage. "Before we go up... about last night.." Jason turned to me.
"I also, really really like you." I told him, shyly looking out the window.
"Can I... kiss you?" he asked me.
"So soon?" I teased.
"I-I mean.." he frowned figuring out I was teasing him.
I leaned forward, kissing his cheek and leaving the car, to go up to the manor.
