-Venus POV-
Temp and I were at the lab in Cams workspace as Zack were also there also there to examine the body. I speak first, "The blow through the sternum would've been fata. In which was dealt by a double-edged blade." Temp nods, "So we know our killer is strong." Cam adds, "Based on the rate of decomp, I'd say he's been dead three days. Probably dumped Friday night." Hodgin then comes over to us, "The gem stone is jade. I'm narrowing down the exact type now." I nod as Cam hands him a sample, "Grit from the wounds." "Hey, grit to you, open book to me." I chuckle as Temp and I continue looking at the knees as Zack says, "The injuries to the knees aren't from baseball bats or bullets." I nod as Temp says, "Zack is right. The victim's patella's were removed surgically." We watch as Zack turns to Hodgin, "King of the Lab." I chuckle and shake my head at the usual antics that the three of us have.
Temp and I went back home as Temp has the mail checking through them. Before she gets through them all we hear a knock. Temp hands me the mail as she went to answer it. As she gets it I land on a particular envelope that has a bit of weight to it that is addressed to me. I looked at it curiously as I was about to open it as I hear someone ask, "Dr. Brennans?" I stop and see who it could be as Temp nods, "Yes?" "Amy Hollister." I walked over as Temp looked confused not sure who she is as I say, "Amy? You are our brother's girlfriend right?" She nods as Temp says, "Please come in." "Thanks." We let her in as I ask, "Would you like something to drink?" "No, no, I-I'm sorry, I... I don't have a lot of time. Do either of you know where Russ is?" I shake my head sadly, "Sorry, we haven't seen Russ in months." "Oh. Um... I have two little girls, well, you know. And, um, the youngest one, that's Hayley, she's not doing to good. Cystic fibrosis." I nod as Temp says, "Russ mentioned that she had lung problems." "Mm, well, her breathing's real bad and, um, now her liver. And, um... she keeps asking for Russ." She hands us a photo as it was a picture of Hayley and Russ together.
I smile a bit at the picture then get an idea, "Temp how about we give her the number of the doctor." She nods and goes over to the counter to write it down on a paper as she says to Amy, "We are going to give you the... phone number of Dr. Leo Goetz." I then felt something a bit wet on my hand as I looked down at where I was still holding the envelope seeing that blood is seeping threw it as I hid it behind me for now as Temp continues to say, "He's the premiere authority on cystic fibrosis in the country." Amy then says, "I can't afford that." I then shake my head, "Oh, no, Amy, we are friends of Leo. He'd do it for us as a favor, no charge." Temp nods and hands her the paper as Temp adds, "I'm going to give him a call, tell him to expect you." "I... I don't know what to say. Thank you." We nod as I say, "It's alright. We know how much Russ cares for the girls and we are glad to be able to do something for them." She smiles as Temp adds, "And as for Russ... I think you're be better off talking to Dad." She nods, "I understand. Um, thank you for both of your time." We smile at her as I say, "Thank you for visiting us. Please come again whenever you want." She nods and leaves as Temp closes the door.
Once Temp closed the door I used my other hand that doesn't have the bloody envelope and grab Temp. She looks at me as I show her the envelope that has been addressed to me. "Temp grab something that we could open it with. She nods as I set the envelope back on the table as she grabs two instruments and places a bag over my hand that has blood as she then says, "Just in case, your hands may contain evidence." I nod, "Alright but help me open it." She nods as we start opening it carefully We take out a clear plastic that is wrapped around a bloodied cloth. We unfold it as it reveals a symbol. We open it again as it completely as it reveals the knee caps that where missing. I sigh as Temp says, "The knees." We looked at each other as I say, "We should take this back to the lab and give Ranger a call." She nods as we start getting ready as I make a call to Booth.
We are at the lab as Angie says to me, "Someone sent you human kneecaps in the mail? That is, like, ugh." I nod, "This is not the most idealist gift to send someone to get their attention." Cam then says, "Zack says they match our victim." Booth then says, "We're dusting the envelope for prints. It was sent somewhere from the D.C. area." Temp then adds, "These patellas are unusually worn." "Worn from what?" "It's hard to say definitively, but I'd say the man did a lot of kneeling." I add, "Well, that's a way to propose to me." Booth gives me a weird look as Angie then says, "Wait a minute, I've seen that before. That symbol looks familiar. Like it's from some kind of seal." I nod as Booth says, "Hey, look, Bones, Blueberry, you both gonna, you know, stay with a friend, check into a hotel, right?" Angie pipes in, "They could stay with me." I nod, "Sleepover nice." Booth nods, "Great." Temp then says, "Thank you. No. Why?" Cam speaks, "Mr. Kneecaps has your home address." "We can't freak out every time somebody Googles us."
Booth looks at Cam, "Cam? They go nowhere alone." Temp then counters back, "Cam? Don't listen to him." "Who are you more afraid of, me or her?" "Booth." Cam quickly intervenes, "Whoa. So this is what it's like to be a kindergarten teacher." I chuckle as she continues, "By the way, neither of you scare me. Who scares me the most is my boss." She points towards me as everyone looks at me as I just stand there smiling as they shrug agreeing. We then hear someone laughing by the door as we turn to see that it is Sweets as he says, "Fascinating interpersonal interaction." I smile, "Hi, Sweets." Temp says, "Dr. Sweets." He then continues to speak, "I, uh..." He then sees Cam taking out the stomach as he looked at it disgusted, "Oh, my... that is gross." Booth then says, "Yeah, it's an autopsy room." I then ask, "Are you sure you want to be here Sweets?" Booth adds, "It's no place for therapists. What do you want?" "Um... you, Dr. Brennan and Venus missed our session this morning." Booth answered, "Maybe because somebody sent body parts to Blueberry in the mail." Cam was able to fully take out the stomach which made Sweets react, "Oh, my God."
I go up to Sweets and start rubbing his back, "Are you okay Sweets?" He just nods as Zacl comes in from behind us and looks at Sweets for a second and speaks, "I've identified the murder weapon." I looked at him and smiled walking over to him to check the weapon out as Temp says, "Oh, that was quick." I look at it with wide eyes as he continues to speak, "Tapered inch and a half wide with both a hilt and a quillon." I looked up at him, "Is it really that knife?" He nods picking it up and showing it for the rest could see, "The cannelure is also quite distinctive." Booth then says, "That's the Gormogon knife." I nod as Sweets asks, "The serial killer?" I nod again as Angie speaks, "Which is why the symbol looked so familiar. I've seen it on a tapestry in the vault." I sigh, "Well then shall we go to the vault then. They nod as I see Sweets looking excited as I chuckle a bit.
I lead the group to the vault as we enter as Sweets says, "So this is the famous bank vault where the violinist was murdered and eaten?" I smile, "We transported everything from the bank here to the Jeffersonian." Booth adds, "So, if you touch anything, Sweets, you put it back exactly the way it was." We make it to the center where the silver skeleton is located as Sweets gets excited even more, "Oh, awesome. The Widow's Son sculpture." I nod as Temp says, "It's complete silver skeleton which is replaced piece by piece with the bones from the murder victims." Angie adds, "Then all or the relics, including that skeleton, can be traced to the Gormogons." Hodgins comes over to us and says, "A 17th century anti-Masonic group. Supposed to be extinct." Sweets asks, "How many victims?" I looked at the statue, "The statue contains the bones of at least five unidentified victims plus the violinist." Booth adds, "That is the actual violinist's pinky." Sweets then says, "Well, obviously Gormogon sent you his kneecaps to continue his work." I nod, "That is what I also speculated as well. But I know Temp wouldn't want no fitting onto the skeleton." Temp nods as Sweets then says, "Mark my words: you'll find something special about those kneecaps."
I take that into consideration as Angie speaks, "Okay, this tapestry here is off somehow." Hodgins and I ask, "Off?" Booth then says, "Well, don't look at me. My idea of art is a half-naked woman on the side of a van." I scrunch my nose not wanting to know that as Sweets looks at him, "That's interesting." Booth looks at him seriously, "No, it's not interesting, Sweets, because it was a joke." He just nods as I chuckle about it. Temp, Booth and I are walking around the lab as Booth asks Temp, "Okay, what's the matter?" I look at Temp knowing what it was about as she says, "Russ's girlfriend, Amy, came to see us. Her daughter is sick. She's looking for Russ. So, I, I told her that my dad might know where he is." Booth looks at the Booth of us as I nod confirming what she said was right. "Your brother is a wanted fugitive, he's a material witness in your Dad's murder trial." "Amy knows that." "Well, he's not gonna come back just because your niece has a cough." Well, technically, she's not my niece." I add, "It's also not a cough. It's cystic fibrosis."
We then hear Zack calling for us as we look at him, "Missing persons sent over dental records from middle-aged men. I checked them against the victim." Booth asks, "You get a hit?" "Father Douglas Cooper. Vicar General to the Archbishop of Washington D. C." We look at the photo on the file as Booth says, "Okay, Sweets was right about the kneecaps. This guy would have been a world-class kneeler." I nod as Temp adds, "Saying that someone is a whiz at psychology it like saying they're good at mind reading. It's a series of lucky guesses." Booth then says, "Well, I'm bringing Sweets in on the case." Zack then says, "You make fun of him all the time." I chuckle knowing that is true as I leaned on his shoulder as Booth says back, "Only when he messes with out heads." "He was right about the knees." I tried my best to contain my laughter as Temp got a bit frustrated, "Zack, shouldn't you be figuring out what was used to excise the kneecaps?" "Yes, Dr. Brennan." I wrap my arm around Zack arm as I say, "That's a bit harsh Temp. But I be going with Zack and help him out for a bit." I wave them bye while tugging Zack along as I hear Booth chuckle a bit as I look up at Zack, "Don't worry about her Zack, she is a bit jealous right now." "Jealous of what?" "That Sweets is right... Hey do you want to have a sleep over tomorrow. We hadn't had one in a while, so what do you say?" "Yes. I would enjoy that." I nod as we continue to get back to work.
We were now on the platform with the rest of the team as Hodgins speaks, "Angela identified the figure on the tapestry." Angie cuts in, "Barabbas." I then speak, "I remember hearing that name... Isn't he a murderer and rapist, who was condemned to death in New Testament Jerusalem." Hodgin nods adding, "The Gormogon believed that the descendants of Barabbas started the first secret societies." I continue, "So that would mean to the Gormogons, Barabbas is an enduring symbol of all that is backwards, upside-down, or inside out." Cam adds, "So if you find his figure on a Gormogon relic..." Angie finishes, "It's a sign to interpret it backwards or in a mirror or upside-down." Zack then speaks, "The numbers on the tapestry are a simple alpha-numeric code. Each number corresponds with a letter. Civitas capitolium." I nod, "Which means 'Capital City. In which D. C. was laid out according to Masonic symbols." Hodgin nods as we look at a map as Hodgin adds, "Now, notice the Pentagram here over the White House." Angie adds, "And you see the compass and the square." Zack adds, "The point of the compass is over the U.S. Capitol building." Hodgin then says, "But here's where Angela's Barbbas thing really kicks in."
Angie smiles, "The presence of Barabbas on this means backwards and upside-down." I continue, "So when the compass is inverted, it points other landmarks. Such as the bank... where we found the vault." Angie points to another spot, "The place where Father Cooper's body was dumped." Zack points to another spot, "The highway overpass off of which Gavin Nichols's head was thrown." Cam then points to a spot, "What's there?" Hodgins answers, "It's an old mansion that's now a nursing home." Angie then points to another spot again, "And this... falls very precisely..." Cam asks, "What's that?" I looked at it closely, "A mausoleum at Silver Hill Cemetery." I could see in the corner of my eye Hodgins grinning and fidgeting a bit. I chuckle and look at him, "Would you like to go and look inside with me?" "Hell, yeah, I do." "All right let me give Booth a call and we will head out." He nods excitedly and starts to prepare.
It was already dark as we arrived at the cemetery. We all had flashlights as Hodgin says, "This mausoleum has been here since the 1800s. It's paid for by a trust." I nod adding, "As far as the Director of the Cemetery knows, no one's been out here for a century." Booth then says, "This better be good." Hodgin then points his flashlight at a building, "Look, 'Pater Mortvvs." Booth then says, "That means dead father." I nod as Hodgin looks at Booth surprised, "You know Latin? Dude." "Alter boy."
We get to the door seeing that it is locked as Hodgin asks, "You got a key?" Booth nods, "Yeah, brought our own." He takes his hand out as I hand him the crowbar as he hands me his light as I light the area for him. Hodgin then says, "Wait, wait, wait, wait." Booth stops as we look at him, "What?" "Can I do it?" Booth looks at him, "No. You don't let me play with your bugs." Booth got the door open as it reveal another skeleton just like the silver skeleton but this time it is completed with bones. Booth then says, "Ah, great. Another one." I nod, "Yeah, but this one's completely made of bones. And if I am correct these may be from different victims as well. We need to send this back to the lab quickly so Zack and I could get a better look at it." They nod as Booth calls it in.
We are back at the lab as Zack and I are looking at the skeleton as Cam asks, "What have we got?" Zack speaks first, "So, far, we've identified 18 different victims, and we are not done." I nod, "Yeah, all bones show cannibalism indicators. Such as this tibia appears to be over 50 years old." Cam asks, "You mean the victim's over 50?" I shake my head as Zack speaks, "What she means is, the victim was killed over 50 years ago." "That would suggest that Gormogon's, what, a minimum of 70 years old?" I look at Zack as we both looked a bit destressed on how to break the news even more as I sigh, "The teeth marks on this bone do not match Gormogon's teeth." Zack puts up an image as Cam says, "My God. We have another cannibal out there? An old one?"
We nod as Hogins comes over to us, "The gemstone you found in Father Cooper's chest is violet jade. The dirt contains sepiolite." Cam nods, "And we're happy about this because?" I answer, "It's because both violet jade and sepiolite are found only in a certain region of Turkey." Hodgin adds, "The Anatolia region, to be exact. Legendary site of the Garden of Eden. And this comes from the vault. Guess what?" I ask, "What?" "It's the same stuff." I nod and looked at Zack, "Could you run the new dentals against the NCIC database." He nods as Hodgin asks, "What do you want me to do?" Cam and I look at each other as she then says, "Uh, be on the lookout for a face-eating cannibal who uses a walker?" I nod, "Yeah, if you see them, remember to approach cautiously." Cam smirks wanting to laugh as Hodgins didn't know if I was serious or not.
Temp came back from visiting dad to see if he could send a message to Russ about coming home to see his little girl. Angie and I had set up pictures on the board as she starts explaining, "We found the same symbol that was mailed to Venus on this tapestry." Booth then says, "It looks like a bunch of Tarot cards." I smile and shake my head, "The Architect, The Martyr, The Orator, The Musician, The Bishop, The Corruptor..." I already had a sense on the whole idea of how the society works as Booth gets up quickly, "Whoa! That's it." What?" I smiled, "You finally caught on Ranger?" He nods, "Gavin Nichols. Uh, the musician." I nod as Hodgin then points out, "Father Cooper was a bishop." I nod, "He is doing it in order. In which would mean that the next person would be The Corruptor." Temp then speaks, "So, the next victim is a corruptor." Hodgin adds, "So, let's call up every porn kingpin and drug dealer in the country. Tell them to look out for a lunatic with a napkin in his collar holding a knife and a fork."
I chuckle, "That is not quiet right Hodgins. You're being a bit to literal." We then hear Sweets come in as he says, "She's right, dude. You're being way too literal. These icons extend from the 1600s." I nod walking over to Sweets, "A corruptor would mean a heretic, someone who is high in power." Sweets nod, "Like, say, a pretender to the throne." I nod as Booth then asks, "What are you doing here, Sweets?" "You left a message that you wanted to see me." "Not see. Talk. On the telephone." "Interesting what people say unwittingly. I'm totally into the Gormogon file, and it's my opinion, you're looking for a duo." Temp then asks, "How did you get the file?" "Booth." "You gave him the case file?" Booth looks at Temp, "Time out okay? He came up with the whole duo thing." She shakes her head as I say, "He is very useful Temp, especially since I agree to what he is saying." She sighs as Hodgin then tells Sweets, "We found another Widow's Son skeleton. This one's complete."
Sweets looked at us surprised as Temp says, "The teeth marks suggest two cannibals." "Really?" I looked at Sweets nodding my head, "Yep." "That's awesome!" I shrug, "I guess... but this does remind me of the Sith Lords." Sweets nod, "Your right. It really does since...." Sweets and I speak at the same time, "There's always only two of them." We fist bump each other proud of our connections to our favorite movie as Booth asks, "Did they just Star Wars us?" I chuckle as I then say, "Think of this as an anthropological way." This got Temps attention, "In the parlance of the 17th century, it's a master and apprentice situation. In which each master must create one of these sculptures out of bone while training their apprentice." Sweets adds, "When it's complete, the master retires, the apprentice becomes a master, starts his own project." Angie then asks, "So, Gormogon used to be the apprentice?" I nod as Hodgins then says, "Now he's the master." I then look at Temp as she nods, "That seems logical, but...." She looks at Booth, "How does me saying no translate to bring Sweets in?"
Sweets then speaks, "All right, get this. Both victims lost their fathers at a young age. Widow's sons. Coincidence? I think not." Booth adds, "Also, two months ago, we arrested Gormogon's apprentice." I nod as Angie says, "Yeah. He killed himself." Sweets asks, "Point of investigation- how do masters find their apprentices? Not on Craig's List. I checked." I chuckle as Booth gets a call, "Booth." Sweets adds, "I bet you two free sessions that the master has access to at-risk children." Hodgins then says, "Kid's got chops." Temp asks, "Well, anything else?" "Yeah. It must be killing him that you have this. This is like his whole reason for living. You might be able to find some way to use that." Booth finishes with his call as he then comes back over to us, "Wait till you hear this. Father Cooper took a trip to Turky last year." Hodgins and I ask at the same time, "The Anatolian region?" "Mm-hmm. Gavin Nichols was on the same trip." Angie adds, "The bishop and the musician." Temp asks, "What about a corruptor?" Booth suggests, "Trip was arranged by a lobbyist. Is that too literal?" Sweets asks, "A lobbyist? Oh, that's a total pretender to the throne." He laughs a bit, "This is how we roll, right, guys?" I chuckle while patting his back, "Yeah, sure Sweets. Whatever floats your boat." Booth looks at Temp and I, "Bones, Blueberry, you got time to talk to a lobbyist?" I smile and nod, "Whenever you are ready Ranger."
We are in Booth's office as we interview with our corruptor. "You think my life is in danger because I went to Turkey?" Booth then says, "Two of the men you traveled with are dead." Temp adds, "Their faces were eaten off." "This is Washington D. C. People have their faces eaten off all the time." I nod, "True... but we actually meant it literally." Booth asks, "Mr. Porter, are you a member of any fraternal order?" I add, "We know you're a member of the Knight of Columbus." "Says so right here on your resume." I nod, "We know you went to Turkey with the Knights to visit the mythical site of the Garden of Eden." Mr. Porter looks at us, "And you think that there's a cannibal out there who has something against a group of civic-minded men who do good works in their community?" I nod, "Yes, that right." Booth then says, "Look, the guy we're after- he thinks that the Knights of Columbus is an evil secret society." "That's crazy." I nod, "It is."
Booth adds, "He's finally catching on." Temp then says, "Your life is in danger." "Why me? I mean, there were 40 guys on that trip." I then ask, "How old were you when your father died?" "Six. What does that have to do with anything?" Temp then decides to say, "You lost your father, and you're a corrupter." I covered Temps mouth to get her to stop saying anything else as Mr. Porter stands up. "Okay. You want to talk to me, you do it through my lawyer." I sigh as Booth also stands up just as he was about to leave, "All right, listen, Mr. Porter, we are just trying to help here." "The FBI is investigating influence peddling. I am one of your targets. Someone eating the faces off the Knights of Columbus- How stupid do you think I am?" Temp removes my hand and says, "Right now? Very, very stupid." I quickly cover her mouth again, "Sorry about her. She is just very honest and only states facts." He leaves as Booth then says, "Okay. Bones, you didn't have to call him a corrupt." "Why?" I then say, "It seems that he doesn't like that title." Booth adds, "It's also because, obviously, he is."
We then hear a knock, "Agent Booth?" "Yeah." "There's someone here to see you." Temp and I look to see that it was Russ. I was excited as he enters as I run up to him and give him a big hug. He gives me one back we stay in that position as he looks at Temp and Booth and asks, "Where's Hayley?" Temp then asks, "Russ. You came to the FBI?" "Yeah, that was the deal." I move a bit back from him still in each other's arms, "What deal? Wait! You can't be here at the FBI headquarters Russ!" Booth then says, "Wow. This just keeps getting better. All right. Blueberry move back." I looked at him as I hugged Russ a bit more tightly, "Do I really need to?" "Yes." I sigh and move back away from him and stand next to Temp a bit sad that this was going to happen as Booth says, "Russ Brennan, you're under arrest. Come on. You know the drill." Russ looks at Temp, "You lied?" Temp and I were confused as he continued, "You told Dad Booth wouldn't arrest me." I was extremely confused, "Huh?" While Temp says, "No, I would never said that." "I should have known better than to trust anyone in this family." I looked at him a bit hurt as Temp says, "Russ, I swear." "I want to see my step daughter." Temp and I looked at Booth with pleading eyes as he sighs.
We made it to the hospital where we enter a room where we see Amy and her daughter Hayley in the bed. Booth uncuffs Russ letting him go to his family as I also walk in staying a good distance as he could have a moment with his family. Russ then says to Hayley, "Hi, Honey." "Russ, I knew you'd come!" I smile as I watch them interact for a bit as Amy then waves me over as I go over to them. Amy then says, "Hayley this is Dr. Venus Brennan. She is also Russ's sister." I smile at Hayley, "Hi Hayley, it's so nice to finally meet you." "Hi." "I heard you are the youngest in the family, right?" "Yeah." I chuckle and smile even wider, "That's awesome. I am also the youngest out of my siblings." "Really?" I nod, "Yup, do you know why the youngest are the special ones?" "No. Why?" "It's because we are the strongest and the most fearless person out of the rest of the siblings." "Really?" I nod as she looks at Russ, "Is that true Russ?" I look at him as I give him a warm smile as he looks at the two of us and smile, "Yeah, she is right. You are the strongest and most fearless person I know." Hayley smiles and laughs a bit as we all smile enjoying our moment together. Out of the corner of my eye I see Temp give Booth a kiss on the check as I grin even wider and look back at the others as we have a good time together.
I went back to the lab as Temp went to visit dad and confront him with some things that he lied about to Russ. I was doing some work as I get a call from Zack as I answered it, "Hey, Zackaroo. What could I do for you?" "I found something in the Gormogon vault I think you should see." "Okay, have you already called Temp?" "Yes, she will be here in a few minutes." "Okay, I will call Booth and see you down there soon." "Okay." I hang up and called Booth. Later on we meet at the Vault as Temp asks Zack, "What's going on, Zack?" Booth then asks, "Why don't you turn the light on?" "I was down here helping Angela decode when I noticed the mirrors." Booth asks, "What mirrors?" "Put these on so you can see where you're going. But I only have three with me and I am using one."
I chuckle, "You could give it to Temp and Booth. You just need to help and guide me around." "Okay." I grabbed his hand as he starts leading us back down to the vault as Booth says, "This better be good." Zack adds, "I'm surprised no one noticed the mirrors before. They're everywhere. Different kinds, different sizes, place seemingly at random around the vault. But I have an overdeveloped sense of spatial reasoning. Careful there is a ledge right here to enter the vault." I smile as he helped me over the ledge, so I don't trip as he continues, "As a result, things that appear random to some people appear deliberate to me." I chuckle, "That's our Zackaroo." He helps me on the other side where he is standing as Booth says, "Zack, just get on with it." "Watch this." He turns on a laser pointer as it starts hitting ever mirror in the room creating a path that leads to a spot.
Zack then asks, "Want to see where it ends?" I nod excitedly, "Yes please." Right about he was about to walk away I stop him, "Zack..." "Yes?" "You're forgetting about me." I stick out my hand as he grabs it and starts guiding me again with the other two behind us. We follow the laser all the way to an eye as Zack points it out, "From that spot, you'd be able to see every corner of the vault." I nod and whisper, "Great work Zack." Temp also whispers, "I don't get it. What does it mean?" I gave her a little smile to cover my anger as Booth whispers, "Gormogon has been watching us this whole time." Zack helped me out of the vault as we made it back upstairs out of the basement as I sigh, "All right. At least we know now before it was late." Booth nods as Temp asks, "What should we do know?" I shrug, "There is nothing we could do much about it right now. But let's all go home and sleep on it. By tomorrow we may think of something that we could do." Booth nods, "Yeah. We should do that." I look at Zack, "Are you still coming for the sleepover?" He nods, "Yes. We had already planned it and I seemed to look forward to it." I smile, "That is great. Booth answers also in a regular tone as I, "Just you and us, Bones. Not even the driver knows what we're transporting." Temp says loudly, "The MRI at Bethesda will tell us if Gormogon hid anything within the bones." Booth asks, "Like what?" I shrug, "Not sure?" While Temp says loudly, "I don't know. That's why we need the MRI at Bethesda." I giggle as Booth shushes her, "Shh..." Temp then whispers, "What?" "You don't have to scream, we are right here." "Right. Okay." I whisper even lower so Booth could only hear me, "I bet that I get to drive next time we go somewhere that she will speak loudly again." He sighs as I say to Temp, "Are you done Temp? I don't want to rush you, but we are kind of in a tight schedule." I nudge Booth as we watch Temp speak loudly again, "Yes. I'm done. Now we can load it onto a truck and take it to Bethesda." She smiles at us thinking that she did a good job on her acting as we just gave her a smile back.
