Eren and Mikasa then made their way over to the location where Niccolo and Sasha are having their cook off. Eren looked around and saw everyone was there, his gaze then went over to Sasha who was currently in the middle of making something, the crowd's gaze was fixed on her. Unbeknownst to Eren, a tear escaped his eye as he looked at Sasha. Mikasa glanced over at Eren and her eyes slightly widened.
"Why are you crying, Eren?" Mikasa asked worriedly as she looked at him properly
"Huh? I'm crying?" Eren spoke up surprised as he wiped the tear and looked at his finger, a small frown plastered on his face
"Eren, you don't look well. Maybe you should go and rest" Mikasa checked his forehead now and her eyes widened when she saw how hot his forehead had gone
"Yeah, you're right..." Eren sighed as he was about to turn around
"EREN, BABY!!" Someone yelled, causing Eren to stop in his tracks.
Mikasa and Eren both looked back, Eren saw Aliua running up to him, she immediately wrapped her arms around Eren's neck and snuggled into his arms. Eren was frozen for a moment as he tried to figure out what was going on. Mikasa smiled as she walked off.
"I'll leave you two alone. Aliua, he's not well, so make sure he rests" Mikasa said before leaving the two

"My baby has a fever?!" Aliua spoke up shocked as she quickly checked his forehead
"You poor thing. Here, this will help" Aliua gently cupped Eren's cheeks and was going on for a kiss, but Eren stepped back in shock
"Who are you?!" Eren spoke up rapidly as he stepped back from her, being cautious, but Aliua just stared at him
"I'm you're girlfriend, Baka~" Aliua pouted as she looked at Eren, causing his eyes to widen
"G-girlfriend?!" Eren stuttered as he looked at her with a shocked expression
"Yeah....we've been together for 4 years now, Eren" Aliua spoke up softly as she stepped forward, but Eren stayed frozen

"Eren, you act weird everytime you have a fever. It's like you forget I'm your girlfriend, I don't know what else to do" Aliua sighed in defeat as she looked down at the floor, causing Eren's eyes to widen slightly
"Hey, hey, I'm sorry...." Eren gently cupped her cheeks and wiped her tears
"I don't know what's wrong with me either....I'm sorry if I hurt you" Eren spoke up softly as he placed a gentle kiss on her forehead, he pulled her into a hug afterwards holding her tight.
"No, it's okay. I understand. You should get some rest, baby" Aliua spoke up softly as he let go and smiled at him, earning a small smile from Eren.
"I'll go and rest inside, you continue watching the bake off, okay?" Eren said and he gently stroked her hair
"I want to come with you too, we can rest together" Aliua smiled as she held Eren's hand, earning a soft chuckle from him
"Alright, if that's what my baby wants, then sure" Eren smiled as he tightened his grip around her hand and slowly walked their way inside the headquarters
Eren walked over to his room, both getting under the covers, Eren pulled Aliua close to his body, she smiled as she snuggled in.
"You comfortable?" Eren asked softly as he looked at her
"Of course I am" Aliua let out a little chuckle as she closed her eyes
"Sleep tight" Eren smiled as he gently rubbed her back
Aliua's POV
"Y/n....I hope you never come back....Eren is mine and mine only.."
After some time, Eren noticed that Aliua had fallen asleep, he stared at the ceiling, a small a frown plastered on his face as he wondered about everything.
Eren's POV
"Why does my chest hurt so much....am I missing something...?"
Soon, Eren had fallen asleep, drifting off into a deep slumber.
Back with the bake off,
Mikasa had made her way back over to the place where the crowd was. She walked over to Jean and stood next to him. Jean held her hand and smiled at her.
"Is everything okay?" He asked softly as he looked at Mikasa
"Eren has a fever again, I don't know what's going on with him, it has been getting more frequent this past year...." Mikasa frowned as she rested her head on Jean's shoulder, causing him to sigh
Jean pulled Mikasa into a tight hug and gently rubbed her back, holding her close to his body.
"Babe, I know you're worried about Eren, but he has Aliua with him, right? You know how much she loves him, she'll look after our suicidal blockhead" Jean let out a small chuckle, but he immediately stopped when he realised what he said, Mikasa slowly pulled out and looked at him
"Suicidal blockhead? Did you call Eren that?" Mikasa asked confused, but Jean was just as confused as her
"I don't know why I said that....Eren isn't even suicidal.....sure he's a blockhead...but he's not suicidal..." Jean laughed, causing Mikasa to roll
her eyes, Jean frowned as he looked down on the grass
"Why would I say something like that...?" Jean pouted as he looked at Mikasa
"I don't know" Mikasa shrugged her shoulders, but she leaned her head back on Jean's shoulder and intertwined her fingers with Jean's
"Who do you think is going to win?" Mikasa asked as she looked at the fun atmosphere infront of her
"Hmmm, probably Sasha. Since majority of her votes are going to come from Connie. He'll single handedly vote on everyone's behalf" Jean let out a soft chuckle as he looked over at Connie, causing Mikasa to smile
"I'll vote for both. They're both great cooks" Mikasa let out a chuckle as she closed her eyes, Jean looked down at her and gently removed the piece of hair of her face
"Ahhhhhh!!!! I can't believe we tied!!!" Sasha yelled in defeat as she sat on the floor staring at food
"I don't mind to be honest, I enjoyed it either way" Niccolo shrugged his shoulders as he let out a chuckle
"BABE!! You were meant to bring all the votes for me!!! This is your fault we came to a draw!!" Sasha glared at Connie who just stood there in shock
"I am hurt! At least give your boyfriend some praise. I'm hurt now....my Sasha hurt my feelings..." Connie frowned as he turned around and walked off, causing Sasha's eyes to widen
Sasha immediately ran off over to Connie and talked him to the floor, holding him tight. Connie smiled as he wrapped his arms around her.
"I'm sorry....I'm sorry....I never meant it like that....I still love you no matter what!" Sasha pouted as she snuggled into Connie, earning a smile from him
"I know, I was only playing" Connie chuckled as he gently rubbed her back
Connie slowly got up and picked Sasha up like a koala 🐨 Sasha wrapped her legs around this waist and tightened her grip around his neck.
"We'll get going now, this one has tired herself out..." Connie waved at them as he slowly turned around, Sasha waved at them too, earning smiles from them all
"Those two are chaotic" Ymir shook her head in defeat
"Don't be mean Ymir, I think they're cute" Historia smiled as she watched Connie's and Sasha's figures disappear
"Okay guys, we should all head back and get some rest. We have to wake up early tomorrow" Armin announced, earning nods from everyone
